Linfield's Spare Part Punch
Grilled Zucchini with Lemon and Porter with Pasta
Ingredients: 1 gal Vodka 1/2 fifth Light rum 3 gal Fruit punch 1 L 7-Up 1/2 gal Orange juice 1/2 fifth Amaretto 1/2 fifth Peach schnapps Fill with Ice Mixing instructions: Select a large container (at least 5 gallons) that can dispense the drink. Simply mix at will, add the ice on top, and go. Jokes and More! A guy took his blonde girlfriend on a fishing trip. They rent all the equipment: the reels, the rods, the wading suits, the rowboat, the car, and even a cabin in the woods. They spend a fortune. The first day they go fishing, but they don't catch anything. The same thing happens on the second day, and on the third day. It goes on like this until finally, on the last day of their vacation, the guy catches a fish. As they're driving home they're really depressed. The guy turns to his girlfriend and says, "Do you realize that this one lousy fish we caught cost us fifteen hundred dollars?"
Serves 4 Zest of one half lemon, grated 2 large cloves garlic, pressed 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon olive oil 4 ounces porter 6-10 slices thick-cut zucchini 1 can (15 ounces) white beans, drained and rinsed 2 roasted red peppers, diced 12 to 14 ounces dried fusilli or cavatappi pasta 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped fresh flat leaf parsley 1/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh sage 3 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh rosemary Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper to taste Grated Romano cheese for garnish 1. In a zip-seal plastic bag, blend together the lemon zest, garlic, lemon juice. porter and olive oil. Add the zucchini strips and let marinate 1 hour. 2. Reserve the marinade for salad. Prepare a grill and grill zucchini until tender, but still holding its shape. Cut into 2-in. chunks, and toss with beans, roasted red peppers, and the remaining marinade in a large bowl. 3. Meanwhile, prepare the pasta according to package directions, or until pasta is tender but still firm (al dente). Drain, place in bowl and stir. 4. Spray a nonstick skillet with cooking oil. Add the chopped herbs and heat until aromatic. Scrape the heated herbs into the pasta mixture and stir to blend. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve garnished with grated Romano cheese.
The girlfriend says, "Wow! It's a good thing we didn't catch any more!"

South Jersey Car Shows & Cruises Beer CraZy by Contributing Writer, Nick Gaudio Barking Squirrel Lager, This beer pours a clear, copper-amber colour, with three tumultuously foamy fingers of tight eggshell white head, which leaves a decent layered watermark of lace rings around the glass as it lazily recedes. It smells of crisp biscuity, grainy malt, a tad toasted, with a bit of nutty caramel, and zesty lemony, leafy, grassy hops. The taste is lightly roasted caramel and sourdough malt, more semi-sweet lemon, some oily nuttiness, a slight mineral/metallic undertone, and a sturdy grassy, hay-like hop bitterness. The bubbles are even, supportive, and just plain nice (sorry, I'm in an increasingly good mood now), the body a decent medium weight, and smooth in the same vein. It finishes off-dry, the biscuity malt and lingering hops holding up their respective ends of the bargain. Wow - one endearingly tasty amber lager - big toasty malts, and well balanced sassy pilsener-esque hops. This was a universal hit.

2013 VR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe – Hennessy Builds a Beast Author: George Chopek Staff Writer See More at ExoticCarResource.com When you are talking cars and hear the terms high performance, speed, power and “insane machines”, one of the first names that pops into everyone’s mind is Hennessy. Founded in 1991 by John Hennessy, the Texas based company became famous for its unforgettable creation known as the Hennessy Venom 500 Viper. Since those early days, Hennessy has developed a world wide reputation for building some of the world’s fastest cars. Now, here we are in 2012 where speed is once again on the big manufacturers menu. The supercar wars of the 80's and 90’s are back in full swing and the mega giants have taken off the gloves. In the midst of this war, that usually feature such exclusive names as Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini, stands a newcomer…..the Cadillac CTS-V. Who would have ever guessed that a name so tightly tied to old men and luxury land yachts would ever be mentioned amongst the kings of the super car wars. Well, not most of us, but the fact is Cadillac is not only in the fight, but neck deep in the battle. When Cadillac started making the CTS-V, the goal was not so clear to many of the “experts”. Many years later, that very same goal is crystal clear and the CTS-V is a legitimate contender. Boasting performance numbers that most could not conceive, Cadillac has changed its reputation from “Dads Executive Saloon” to “Every Mans Playground”. So, now that Cadillac has built the platform it was only natural that the masterminds at Hennessy would step in and take an already wonder of modern automotive science, mix in their potion, and create the baddest Cadillac on the planet. Welcome to Hennessy’s 2013 Cadillac CTS-V based VR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe. This is not Hennessy’s first CTS-V based creation. Starting way back in 2008, Hennessy has been turning Cadillac’s performance monster into a beast. But, this rendition is very special. So special in fact that Hennessy will be building just twelve (12) VR1200’s to tear up the tarmac. The VR1200 is expected to have some staggering performance numbers. To give an example, this Hennessy machine will make 1,226 bhp @ 6,400 rpm and 1,109 lb-ft torque @ 4,000 rpm. Yes, you read those figures right, spell check did not autofill. With these kinds of numbers, the VR1200 is expected to cover 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds, the ¼ mile in a stitch over 10 seconds and have a blistering top speed of 242 miles per hour. This is definitely not the old man’s Cadillac. To obtain this level of performance, Hennessy will be outfitting the VR1200 with a 427 CID all aluminum 7 liter V8 that will have a host of go fast goodies to include two billet turbo chargers. Other features will include two transmission choices; a manual with a dual friction clutch upgrade or a performance built automatic with an upgraded torque converter. Stopping power will come from Brembo to the tune of 15.1 inch carbon ceramic rotors with 8 piston calipers up front and 6 piston clamps in the rear. Wheels will be Hennessy 20×10 (f) and 20×13 (r) shoed with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The suspension will be lowered 1” in the front and rear along with upgraded front and rear sway bars. The Hennessy “CarbonAero Widebody” will include a carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber rear diffuser, carbon fiber front fenders, carbon fiber extractor hood and carbon fiber rear fender flares. The office space will not be ignored and will feature an Alcantara headliner, carbon fiber door sills, upgraded leather and stitching, Hennessey embroidered headrests and other special Hennessy touches. All of the above will be protected with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. Unbelievable you say? Well, believe it. So, once again, the team at Hennessy has struck. They have taken the good and made it great. The formula is simple. Order a wonderful car, give it to some of the best car guys on the planet, close the door and wait to see what emerges. When it is a Hennessy, you can bet that when those doors open, what comes out will be nothing short of amazing. Well, the doors are ready to open and when they do, out will emerge a new beast. That beast is the 2013 Hennessy VR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe. Need we say more?
