Bauma 2010: Mobile treatment technology for the construction industry Robust "Terminator" shredder and new "Cribus" drum screen machine in the spotlight Munich. In the construction industry, the effective processing of building material waste and waste wood using mobile technology on the construction site has become an important issue. This is why Komptech, the Austro-German specialists in the treatment of solid waste and biomass, is using Bauma 2010 in Munich (from 19th to 25th April) as a platform to present their solutions for this sector to trade visitors. Stand 1015/9 in the "open-air North" area will see the company exhibit the "Terminator" waste shredder and a "Cribus" drum screen machine, both suitable for universal deployment. The "Terminator" is a slow-running single-shaft shredder for all types of waste. Applications on the roller/opposing comb system variants range from coarse pre-crushing to defined shredding. The "Cribus" is a new generation of drum screen. Model 3800 (with 38 square metres of effective screening area) is currently the largest drum screen machine implemented as a central axle trailer. Many further innovations create a machine with the highest level of functionality and cost-effectiveness whilst settings new benchmarks. Komptech will also be pleased to provide information on the entire range of mobile and stationary products in the shredding, separation and composting technology sectors.
