1. แบบฝึ กทักษะการอ่านชุดนี้ใช้สาํ หรับเสริ มการเรี ยนการสอนในกลุ่มสาระการเรี ยนรู้ ภาษาต่างประเทศ (ภาษาอังกฤษ) นักเรี ยนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปี ที่ 2 2. ครู ควรศึกษาขั้นตอนการใช้แบบฝึ ก เนื้อหา กิจกรรมตั้งแต่ตน้ จนจบให้เข้าใจอย่าง ละเอียด ก่อนนําไปใช้กบั นักเรี ยน 3. ครู ช้ ีแจงขั้นตอนการใช้แบบฝึ กและให้นกั เรี ยนศึกษาคําแนะนําสําหรับนักเรี ยน 4. ครู ควรกําชับให้นกั เรี ยนทําแบบฝึ กด้วยความซื่อสัตย์ ตามขั้นตอน โดยไม่ดูเฉลยก่อน ลงมือปฏิบตั ิจริ ง 5. ครู ควรทําหน้าที่เป็ นผูใ้ ห้คาํ แนะนําและให้ความช่วยเหลือนักเรี ยนเพื่อให้การดําเนิน กิจกรรมประสบความสําเร็ จ 6. ครู ควรให้กาํ ลังใจนักเรี ยน ชมเชย เพื่อส่ งเสริ มและกระตุน้ ให้นกั เรี ยนมีกาํ ลังใจในการ พัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านของตนเองต่อไป

Kamphaengphet is an ancient city and appeared in historical records as far back as 700 years ago. Kamphaengphet used to be a frontier town for the old capital city of Sukhothai or was called Muang Cha Kang Rao. This old

city was surrounded by the small satellite cities of Trai Trung and Muang Khon Tee and many others. Because of its strategic location as a frontier town, the city has an abundance of important historical ruins such as defensive walls, forts, moats and ancient monasteries that stand as a
10 testimony of rich heritage. It is believed that two cities once stood where Kamphaengphet now stands today. Cha Kang Rao, the first city, was founded on the eastern side of the Ping River. Nakorn Chum was later founded by a Sukhothai king on the 15 western side of the Ping River. Today Kamphaaengpet is the center for historical and cultural tourism because of many archaeological remains found in Kamphaengphet Historical Park and is considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since December 12, 1991.

Phra Borommathat Chediyaram Temple is a temple situated in the centre of Mueang Nakhon Chum, located on the western bank of the Ping River,

featuring a Myanmese-style Pagoda. To the south is an Ubosot housing several Sukhothai- and Ayutthaya-style bronze Buddha statues. The Pagoda itself is

Kamphaengphet Watchararatwittayalai or Kamphaengphet Provincial Boy School, the first boy school, was established in 1911 at Wat Koo Yang, Muang Kamphaengphet. Mr. Pae Mekapin was the first headmaster. The school was moved to locate

on Tesa Road (opposite the Water supply office) in 1917 and then moved to the present place in 1963. Satree Plup Pla School or Nareewittaya School, the first girl school, was set up near Chee Nang Kao temple in 1926. Miss Somsanit Ramasoot was the first headmaster.

Kamphaengphetpittayakom School established from Watchararatwittayalai and Nareewittaya School since 1st September, 1971 by Mr. Sukit Nimmanhemin, Minister of Ministry of Education, Dr. Kor Sawasdipanich, director General of the Department of Education, Mr. Prachuab Kamboonrat, director of Secondary

Education, and Mr. Manit Pomsuk, the first school director deputy. The purpose of consolidation was to let both girls and boys learn each other’s life style that was more natural than the past. Nowadays, Kamphaengphetpittayakom School is an extra large secondary school and was the Royal Awardee in 1995. There
