(8-14 Years)

This recreation league is perfect if you are just learning the game of volleyball, or need to perfect your skills as you get ready to try out for your local school team. Fun and learning are emphasized over competition in this league. Participants will be split into two age groups; 8-10 and 11-14. This league will be a “social” (friends play with friends) league and we will do our best to keep teams distributed in that manner. Teams will have one practice a week and games will be played on Saturdays. Participation awards will be given at the end of the season. Participants who want their child to “play up” (older age division) must coach. VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED FOR EACH TEAM. *THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL $10 LATE REGISTRATION FEE AFTER THE DEADLINE.

Water Exploration (Ages 6-36 Months)

This class is an introduction to water safety and basic water skills for both parent and child. The Water Exploration and Safety class is meant to allow the child to explore the water in a supervised and fun environment with the guidance of the instructor and parent.

Preschool (Ages 3-5 Years)

The purpose of this class is to help students feel comfortable in the water. Students continue to learn elementary water skills and safety tips that will stay with them throughout all swim lesson levels. Sophie the Safety Seal’s WaterSmart Rules are reinforced for increased aquatic safety.

Group Swim Lessons

Our swimming program follows the nationally recognized Jeff Ellis Swim Program. Our goal is to provide a quality program where participants can build confidence and skills in the water to become lifelong swimmers.

Level 1: Beginner The Beginner class builds on elementary water skills previously learned and teaches students the skills needed to complete a 25-yard swim for each of the following: Elementary Backstroke, Front Crawl, and Backstroke. All elementary water skills are reinforced so that they become second nature to the students. All water safety rules are discussed as well.

CLOSED

Inclement Weather Policy When lightning occurs, the indoor & outdoor pools will be closed. If we are unable to reopen after forty minutes, the pool(s) will remain closed and attempt to reopen later in the day. This policy is in effect until one hour prior to official closing time.

Rain Check Policy In the event of aquatic facility operation suspension due to inclement weather or maintenance, guest(s) may exchange their ticket for a rain check only if guest(s) have been present at the facility for less than two hours. Management reserves the right to suspend operation and/ or close the facility at any time and initiate the rain check policy. If the indoor pool is able to stay open while the outdoor pool is closed, the rain check policy will not apply.
