Joan Ritchey found the Keller Senior Activities Center in 2004. She immediately began participating and volunteering in our programs. Joan is also a member of the Keller Red Hat Society. A favorite KSAC trip was to Tunica, Mississippi (mostly for the casinos). She enjoys spending time with family, going antiquing, and audiobooks. Her secret to living a full life is a healthy attitude, as she just turned 94 years young. Joan has three daughters, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. When asked what she would say to her younger self, she responded, “Be willing to take a few more chances. Life is full of adventure, so don’t be afraid to take risks.” Joan has enjoyed her years at the KSAC and has seen many changes. She says that everyone has brought something good and different to the center.
