New User Computer Class This class will introduce you to your personal computer. The basics will be covered, exploring Windows operating system, there will be hands-on activities; practicing on the keyboarding and mouse as well. Day: Friday Dates Feb. 1 - 22 Time: 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Fee: $30
QuickWitz Learning RX of Keller will be presenting the QuickWitz program. QuickWitz is unique in the brain training field as it is offered to participating adults in a social setting. Social connectedness remains an important aspect of overall health. Studies now suggest that low social activity in aging adults is associated with increased risk of Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Internet Computer Class Introduction to the Internet including understanding browsers, using search engines for research, sending and receiving email and downloading files. Students should have a basic understanding of the computer. Day: Tuesday Dates Feb. 5-26 Time: 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Fee: $30
Intermediate Computer Class Intermediate Computer class will introduce you to a more advanced level of the New User Class. You will learn how to set up your desktop to meet your needs, explore word and excel programs. Day: Dates Time: Fee:

GENERAL INFORMATION MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Annual membership at the Keller Senior Activities Center (KSAC) includes access to the free classes, programs and special activities. The center is open to anyone 55 and older. LUNCH PROGRAM Senior Citizen Services of Greater Tarrant County provides a nutritional lunch program at noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please call 817-743-4370 to make a reservation for lunch. Reservations are taken by noon the previous day. Lunch prices: 60 and older is $2 (suggested donation) and the Active Adult under the age of 60 are asked to pay $5. Monthly menus are posted at the center. TRANSPORTATION The Northeast Transportation Service (NETS) offers door-to-door transportation services to residents who are disabled or 55 and above. Whether you're an active adult, prefer a low impact or weight resistance workout, this class is for you. Free weights, elastic bands and other props will be used during class. Please bring a water bottle. Please wear loose fitting clothes. Closed toe shoes are recommended.
Chinese Art of Tai Chi includes the principles of movement, breathing balance and energy. This class is slow and gentle, suitable for those that may have limited range of motion.
