M e m b e r s h i p
Annual Membership Fees:
Membership is required for each individual to utilize the Keller Senior Activities Center facility amenities and/or participate in activities and programs. Membership purchases are subject to verification and a driver's license and/or proof of residency may be requested by city staff at any time.
Annual Fees: $20 for Keller Residents per person
$70 for Non-Residents per person
Memberships are open to all residents and non-residents, 55 years of age and older, and includes entrance into the facility; use of the fitness room and game room; ability to register and participate in programs, activities, classes, trips, and our meal program. Please note that additional fees may be required for programs, activities, events, and trips and will be outlined with specific details in the quarterly newsletter.
If you are a member of a UnitedHealthcare Medicare plan, you may be eligible for a no-cost membership through Renew Active. Check with the front desk for eligibility requirements and more details.

Registration Process: All programs, activities, events, meals, and trip registrations are on a monthly basis. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on the dates listed below. Payment is due upon registration. If you make a reservation and you are unable to attend, out of courtesy to your neighbor and sponsor, you must call and cancel so we can pass on the opportunity to other members on the waitlist.

Meals on Wheels: Meals on Wheels provides home-delivered meals Monday through Friday to those who are unable to cook for themselves. Service can be ongoing or short term to assist during times of need. For information on the Metroport Meals on Wheels program call 817.491.1141 or visit www.metroportmow.org. For, Tarrant County meal program call 817.336.0912 or visit www.mealsonwheels.org
Transportation: The Northeast Transportation Service (NETS) offers door-to-door transportation services to Keller residents who are disabled and/or 65+ years of age. Trained drivers are available to assist passengers in getting on and off of vehicles. Please call 817.336.8714 to schedule your trip or visit www.ridenets.com for more information.
AARP Driver's Safety
Learn how to improve your driving skills and be more aware of other drivers. This course may be used to qualify for a discount on your auto insurance; however, it does not meet the requirements to dismiss a ticket. Fees are paid at the time of class. Cash or check only. Registration Required.

Canned Food & Toiletry Drive
The Keller Senior Activities Center will begin collecting non-perishable food items and toiletry items. These items will be donated to our local Community Storehouse as well as other local food pantries that need supplies.

Vaccine Clinic
Come to the Keller Senior Activities Center for high-dose for 65+ and regular Flu and Pneumonia vaccines provided by Sam's Club Pharmacy. Knowledge of previous vaccines is recommended.

Metroport Meals on Wheels provides an opportunity for fellowship for seniors as they share a meal together. MMOW meals are served on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The menu is available online or at the front desk. Registration is required at least one week prior to guarantee a meal.

Self Defense for Women Class
This class will cover the basics in self-awareness, setting boundaries, release and break away techniques, as well as providing punching and kicking tips that will assist in running to safety. Dao Yin Tu Workshop
Come and learn about the 2200-year-old Chinese wellness practice of Dao Yin in a workshop led by former KSAC instructor, Ron Smith. This 2-hour workshop starts with a short history lesson mainly devoted to the active practice of ancient health movements and breathing techniques. Attendees can participate while seated or standing. It is recommended that participants wear loose, comfortable clothing and footwear.

Just Move
Brought to you by Care N Care Community. Enjoy this low-impact to no-impact exercise class and improve strength, balance, coordination, cardio, and flexibility. In this 30-50 minute class you will move through continuous, easy, low-impact cardio moves. A chair is provided for seated or standing support. You are encouraged to go at your own pace and may sit at any time during the class. This class is preceded with a thorough warm-up/ stretch to prepare you for class and followed by a cool down, relaxation segment.

Qigong & Self Defense *NEW PROGRAM*
Healing movements of Qigong and empowering movements of self defense. We will meditatively move our breath through our body, clearing any stagnations in our bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and organs, so our energy and blood can easily flow through these areas. These movements are gentle and relaxing, intuitive, logical, and easy for all to learn and use. Wear loose fitting clothes and flat bottom shoes.
