Annual Memberships
Benefits of The Keller Pointe Membership Registering as a member of The Pointe is the best way to take advantage of all The Pointe has to offer. Members have access to all non instructional activities, fitness equipment, the running/ walking track, gymnasium, indoor and outdoor aquatic centers, locker room facilities, and towel service.
Definition of a Family A family constitutes at least one, no more than two, adult head of household and his/her dependents that are 23 years of age or younger in school or living at home. It also includes persons with special needs living as a single housekeeping unit at the same address.
Medical Freeze In the event of a medical condition that prevents you from utilizing The Pointe, members may freeze their annual membership for $10/month by providing a doctor’s statement. Once a doctor’s release is obtained to return to the facility, the membership will be reactivated for the length of time it was frozen. If patron has a family membership and elects to freeze the membership, the entire family will be frozen. Medical freezes must take place within 30 days of the medical condition arising. Expired memberships are not eligible for medical freeze. We also offer other account freezes. See our service desk for eligibility requirements.
Daily Admission
If you choose not to become a member of The Pointe, you may still enjoy the amenities of this great facility by paying the Daily Admission. The Daily Admission allows you entrance to all non instructional activities in the fitness center, indoor and outdoor aquatic centers, gymnasium, track, and locker rooms on the day of purchase. Every person entering the facility without a membership, must pay the Daily Admission.

Your annual membership is good for one year from the date of purchase. As an Annual Member, you will receive all of the wonderful benefits mentioned earlier. This is the most economical way to take advantage of all The Pointe has to offer.
Annual Fee - Non-refundable For individuals choosing to purchase an annual membership by paying for one year in full, the membership is non-refundable with the exception of the 30-day Opt Out Period.
30-day Opt Out Period All annual members have 30 days from the date of purchase to request an annual fee refund. One month, at the monthly rate, and a $60.00 service charge will be deducted from the annual fee refund amount. After 30 days, no refund is available.
Annual Fee Transfers Individual or family annual members may transfer their membership to another individual or family. If the individual or family receiving the annual membership is a non-resident, the receiving party will be required to pay the difference between the resident annual membership fee and the non-resident annual fee. If a nonresident annual member is transferring their annual membership to a resident of the City of Keller, there is no refund for the price difference.

Proof of Residency In order to confirm City of Keller residency for a Pointe membership, present your driver’s license and complete a membership application. A customer service representative will assist with an ID card and payment. A membership will not be issued without a valid driver’s license as proof of residency. Resident Business
With a month to month membership, The Keller Pointe will automatically debit payments from your bank account, MasterCard or Visa. Your Pointe membership and monthly payments will automatically continue until you notify us in writing that you wish to discontinue your membership. A $60 service fee is due when you register for your month to month membership.
If you work at a business located in the City of Keller, you are eligible for a discounted membership. Upon joining The Pointe you will need to show proof of employment with the Keller business address on it.
RESIDENT BUSINESS FEES
30-day Written Notice for Cancellation of Monthly Membership For those individuals choosing the monthly payment option, a 30day written notice is required to discontinue the monthly payments. If the notice is received on or after the 15th of the month, the membership will be canceled at the end of the following month. The $60 service fee is non-refundable. A service fee of $20 per returned payment may apply.

Inclement Weather Policy When lightening occurs, the pools will be closed. If we are unable to reopen after forty-five minutes, the pool will close and attempt to reopen later in the day. This policy is in effect until one hour prior to official closing time.

Prior to working out or taking a class, check in at the Customer Service Desk, then take your children into the Stay ’N Play room where they can enjoy a wide variety of entertainment. Children, ages six months through nine years, can stay for a maximum of two hours at a cost of $2 per visit, per child. Punch passes are also available purchase for $30, good for 20 visits. Parents/guardians may not leave the building or outdoor pool while their child/children are in Stay-n-Play. For policies, please inquire at the Customer Service Desk.
Rain Check Policy In the event of aquatic facility operation suspension due to inclement weather or maintenance, guest can exchange their ticket for a rain check only if guest have been present at the facility for less than two hours. Management reserves the right to suspend operation and/or close the facility at any time and initiate the rain check policy. If the indoor pool is able to stay open while the outdoor pool is closed, the rain check policy will not apply.

Bear Creek Rooms Rooms
Availability
The Keller Pointe has three single meeting/banquet rooms: • Wild Rose Room • Double Springs Room • Cross Timbers Room
Bear Creek Rooms are available for rental from 5:00 am to 1:00 am. (Note: The building closes at 10:00 pm Monday through Thursday, 9:00 pm Friday, 8:00 pm Saturday, and 6:00 pm Sunday after which extended hour fees will apply). The contract, deposit and half the rental must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the rental.
Room Capacity • One Room: with chairs: 90 people with tables and chairs: 50 people • Two Rooms: with chairs - 180 people with chairs and tables - 100 people • Three Room: with chairs - 270 people with tables & chairs -160 people

Contracts Contracts for all facility rentals and parties must be completed and signed at time of booking along with payment.
Cancellation Policy for All Facility Rentals A written cancellation notice signed by the applicant must be received at least thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled event in order for user to receive a full refund minus a $25 service charge. A forfeiture of the reservation fee will result if a user fails to provide a 30 day written cancellation notice.

Deposits A deposit of $100 is required on facility rentals, along with the completion of The Keller Pointe Facility Reservation contract and payment. The deposit will be refunded if the area used has been left in good order and all conditions of the contract have been met. An additional $150 deposit for alcohol consumption and/or teenage event is required, along with the cost and scheduling of a Keller police officer on site. All rentals are a minimum of two hours.

Party packages include use of the party room for one hour for ten guests and ten invitations. Ice Cream cakes from Carvel may be ordered for an additional $10.00. Parties may only be re-scheduled or refunded with at least two weeks’ notice. All re-scheduled parties are subject to a $25 fee.

Islander Pool Party: Features: Decorated cake, punch, ice cream, pool party assistant, choice of party favors, and use of indoor pool. Cost: $165.00 for first ten guests, $7 for each additional guest of a Member or $12 for each additional guest of a Non-Member.
Rentals must be a minimum of two hours and are available before or after regular hours of operation. Events can begin 30 minutes after the pool closes to the public. The Big Kahuna Pool Party: Features: Decorated cake, punch, hot dog basket or pizza, ice cream, pool party assistant, choice of party favors and use of indoor pool. Soccer Sparks Skills Academy
This recreation league is perfect if you are just learning the game of volleyball or need to perfect your skills as you get ready to try out for your local school team. Fun and learning are emphasized over competition in this league. Participants will be split into two age groups; 8-10 & 11-14. Teams will have one practice a week and games will be played on Saturdays. VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED FOR EACH TEAM.
Taught by leading coaches with USSF National Soccer Coaching licenses, the class uses advanced, “all-ball” training techniques to help students meet their maximum potential while emphasizing on fair play and enjoyment of the game. *No class November 21

Holiday Adventure Camp
We provide fun, games, swimming and more at The Keller Pointe during the Thanksgiving Holiday break. Adventure Camp includes arts and crafts, social games, snacks, and swimming at The Keller Pointe indoor leisure pool. Please remember to bring your own lunch, drinks, swimsuit and towel daily. Before and after camp care will be provided for an additional fee. NO Camp Thursday, November 20
At The Keller Pointe’s holiday camp; campers will enjoy a full schedule of fun and exciting indoor games, swimming, arts and crafts, singing, dancing, talent shows and more! Holiday Art Camp While your parents are out shopping for your Thanksgiving dinner celebration you can be creating your own unique art work to give as gifts. Complete 6 fine art masterpieces you’ll be proud to frame and display with professional artists, Robert & Susan Garden. The purpose of the American Red Cross Waterpark Lifeguarding Course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services personnel take over in aquatic facilities with waterpark features. ATTENDANCE AT ALL SESSIONS IS MANDATORY. Prerequisites: Minimum requirements: 1. Minimum of 15 years of age on or before the final scheduled session of the course. 2. Swim 300 yards continuously demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing. Candidates may swim using the front crawl, breaststroke, or a combination of both but swimming on the back or side is not allowed. Swim goggles may be used. 3. Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs. Candidates should place their hands under the armpits. 4. Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: a. Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. The face may be in or out of the water. Swim goggles are not allowed. b. Surface dive, feet-first or head-first, to a depth of 7 to 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object. c. Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point with both hands holding the object and keeping the face at or near the surface so they are able to get a breath. Candidates should not swim the distance under water. Exit the water without using a ladder or steps. Students failing the pre-course requirements may request a refund of $140. NETS Transports You! The Northeast Transportation Service (NETS) offers door-to-door transportation services to residents who are disabled or 55 years of age or older. Trained drivers are available to assist passengers in getting on and off the vehicles.

AARP Drivers Safety Every other month, the KSAC hosts the AARP Drivers Safety class taught by AARP volunteers. The eight-hour class is open to persons aged 50 and older. Cost is $14 for non AARP members and $12 for AARP members. Completing this class may save you 10% on your auto insurance for the next three years. Monthly Birthday Breakfast It’s even better than breakfast in bed! The birthday breakfast is served (with a smile) at 9:00 AM on the second Wednesday of each month. Breakfast consists of breakfast casserole, fruit, juice and coffee. Seniors with birthdays during that month eat FREE. Other participants are asked to contribute $2. Reservations are due by noon on the day prior.
Chair Massage Need stress relief? Schedule an appointment for a 10 minute chair massage by Ron Smith each month. Cost will be $10 per person for a 10 minute session. Register for an appointment at the KSAC (817) 743-4370.
T’ai Chi Classes T’ai Chi will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. and cost $20 for 4 weeks. T’ai Chi is an ancient Chinese art that provides a gentle way to exercise, stretch, breathe and relax. The Sun style T’ai Chi to be taught is especially formulated for persons with Arthritis. No special equipment is needed, just loose clothing and flat-bottomed shoes.
Computer Classes Are you interested in learning how to use a computer? New Computer Classes start at the Senior Activities Center each month. The classes are $5 for those over age 55. The classes are four weeks long and run from 10:00-11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Classes offered include New Users, Intermediate, Internet, Advanced, Digital Cameras and PC, and Excel. We are now teaching Office 2010 and Windows 7. Fit & Fab This is a low impact workout designed specifically with seniors in mind. Exercises will be performed in a chair & standing to improve agility, balance, coordination and activities for daily living. We will incorporate free weights & elastic tubing with handles for added resistance to work all major muscle groups and increase muscular strength and range of movement. A short meditation will compliment the end of your workout. Water bottle and proper shoes are mandatory. No open toe or backless shoes will be permitted.

Participants will walk down the haunted trail of the Bear Creek Park Greenbelt starting at the south end of the parking lot of The Keller Pointe and heading east. Groups will be brought back to the parking area on hayrides. Advanced tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children under 12 (Caution: Haunted Trails can be too scary for some children). Keller Classic 5k, 1 Mile Fun Run Holiday Shopping in Canton Come take a road trip with us to do some Holiday Shopping in Canton! Reserve your spot and ride with us on November 2 and be sure and invite your friends! This is the most popular date of the year for Canton Trade Days. We will depart The Keller Pointe at 7:00 am aboard a charter bus and return at 6:00 pm. Sit back and relax and let us do the driving to the shopping experience of a lifetime. Registration Information Class Locations The location for all classes, activities, programs, and events are at The Keller Pointe unless otherwise noted. Where to register Participants may register for all classes, activities, programs, and events online or at The Keller Pointe during operational hours. Registration Deadline Participants are encouraged to register for classes as early as possible. Registration deadline is Friday before class begins (unless otherwise noted). Go online to www.thekellerpointe.com to register. Class Makeup Policy If it is necessary to cancel a class because of inclement weather, The Keller Pointe Customer Service staff will notify all participants at least one hour before class is scheduled to begin when possible. You may call The Keller Pointe at 817.743.4FUN. If a swim lesson is cancelled, The Keller Pointe aquatic staff will contact you within 24 hours to reschedule. Any group class missed will not be made up. Class Refund or Transfer Policy When a class is cancelled due to low enrollment or other circumstances, you will be offered a transfer to another class or receive a full refund. Participant initiated refunds and transfers will only be granted when a participant: a) submits a transfer or refund request at least 5 business days prior to the starting date of the course; b) moves from the area and notifies The Keller Pointe at least 5 business days prior to the course start date; or c) becomes ill, in which case a doctor’s statement must be presented upon request. If a refund/transfer is not requested to be applied to Keller Pointe merchandise or program within 90 days, the refund/transfer will be forfeited.
Gift Cards The Pointe Gift Cards may be purchased for any amount, and may be used toward program registration, membership, concessions, personal training, guest admissions, rentals and Pointe merchandise. Gift Cards are available at the Service Desk. Inclement Weather Policy Lightning poses a serious risk of injury in our aquatic facilities, including the indoor facilities. Due to the seriousness of this issue, the following inclement weather policy applies for all aquatic facilities: When lightning occurs, the pools will be closed. If the lightning and inclement weather continues for more than thirty minutes, the pools will remain closed and The Keller Pointe staff will attempt to reopen the pools later in the day. This policy is in effect until one hour prior to the facility’s official closing time. Aquatic Training Please be advised that The Keller Pointe lifeguards take part in active training during operating hours. In the event that there is a training exercise, the aquatic staff will notify all patrons.

A non-refundable user fee of $25.00 is required for all pavilion rentals. (Note: The pavilion in The Parks at Town Center is only available from two weeks following Labor Day through two weeks prior to Memorial Day.) Keller Multi-Use Arena The 120’ x 350’ outdoor multi-use arena is available for practice and event rentals. A non-refundable rental fee of $15.00/three hours is required for all practice reservations. A non-refundable rental fee of $200.00 per day, or $100.00 for less than six hour events, is required for all arena event rentals. An additional $100.00 per day security deposit is also required for all arena event rentals. Lights and tractor fees are additional.
