Swim Lessons Water Explorations - MINNOW (6-36 months) Parents and children learn together by focusing on increasing the parent’s and the child’s confidence in the water through aquatic activities and fun songs. This fun-filled course will build a strong foundation of basic skills, such as safe submersions, proper holds, breath control, and movement of arms and legs in a safe and supervised environment. A parent or guardian must be in the water with their child.

Preschool - STARFISH (3-5 years) Play is the way little ones learn! Using fun songs and interactive games, students will learn elementary water skills, such as blowing bubbles, bobbing, floats, glides, and front crawl that will build their confidence in the water so that they become lifelong swimmers.

Group Swim Lessons (5-12 years) Our swimming program follows the nationally recognized Jeff Ellis Swim Program. Our goal is to provide a quality program where participants can build confidence and skills in the water to become lifelong swimmers.

Level 1: TURTLE This foundational swim class is for beginner students to feel comfortable in the water with basic swim skills and techniques including kicking, floating, gliding, freestyle, and backstroke.

Level 2: JELLYFISH This is an advanced beginner class with the goal of building on foundational skills and learning breath control that will help them efficiently move through the water more independently while demonstrating freestyle, backstroke, and elementary backstroke.

Level 3: DOLPHIN This intermediate class is designed for students to move from a basic understanding of strokes to gaining independence in the water through improved breath control and more efficient strokes. Treading water will be introduced at this level to improve endurance.

Level 4: OCTOPUS This intermediate class is designed to develop students into more efficient swimmers by coordinating their arms, legs, and breathing while maintaining body position. Scissor kick and Sidestroke will be introduced at this level.

Level 5: SHARK This advanced class will strengthen students’ coordination of key strokes while building their endurance and refining underwater technique and body position. Butterfly and treading water will be introduced at this level.

Level 6: STINGRAY This advanced class polishes strokes so students swim with more ease, power, and smoothness while building endurance to swim greater distances.

Kids Aikido (8-12 years)

Assistant Instructor, Oliver Martinez Jr.

In our program, we don’t believe in just teaching children how to grapple, throw, and pin others. We work to build your child’s character. During classes you’ll see your child’s energy, confidence, and spirit rise while he or she becomes strong and confident. We’re not just talking about physical strength…but the kind of strength it takes to resist peer pressure, deal with bullies, and other negative aspects of being a kid. Classes are offered Monday and Thursday on a monthly basis.

Kali (12+ years) Kali is a Filipino martial art focused on the use of single and double sticks. Students improve focus and coordination through learning progressively complex weaving and striking patterns. Padded stick sparring will be a required part of the training. Classes are offered Tuesdays on a monthly basis.
