VALUES THE FIVE GOALS OF A SACRED HEART EDUCATION In support of our vision, our Sacred Heart Education is based on the following goals:
• A personal and active faith in God • A deep respect for intellectual values • The building of community as a Christian value • A social awareness which impels to action • Personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom. Our School is grounded in the Catholic faith and is part of the international Sacred Heart network of schools founded by St Madeleine Sophie Barat in France in 1800. The School itself was founded in 1882 and we have a strong educational tradition that underpins the education we provide for our students today. At Kincoppal – Rose Bay we are focused on the whole student – Our motto, Cor Unum, embodies educating both the Heart and the Mind. We strive to attain the highest academic standards while providing an environment of love, community, opportunity and personal growth for each student.
