reschool Playground is in front of you the new edition from Kreativni Centar, for preschool children. This volume offers various tasks, excerises and games in the field of mathematics - counting and calculating, making sets and subsets, spacial orientation and first consepts in geometry. Contents of this worksheets can be adjusted to match the needs, events and program for specific preschool group. Activities are structured to alow easy orientation for kids to work independently but also enriched with numerous ideas for additional work. Therefore this book will be of great help to experienced teacher as well as beginners. These tasks allow children selfprogress, encourage observation and search for different solutions, develope creativity and create foundation for a good school start.

Who is going up and who is going down? Snail going down the tree is marked with a blue arrow, and snail going up is marked with green arrow. Who is going up and who is going down the stairs? Draw the right direction with arrows.

Check with your friends how they solved these tasks. Are thier solutions different from yours? Where can you go up, and where can you go down?

Longer and shorter Colour in the longest pencil, the longest worm and the longest path with yellow. Colour in shorter pencil, worm and path with green, and the shortest of each with blue. Finish the medium sized worm. The boy took one step to reach the blue ball. How many steps would he need to take to reach the green, and how many steps to reach the yellow ball.

Which ball was the farthest? Who’s got the longest hair in your preschool group, and who’s got the shortest?

Wider and narrower Colour the widest objects in red. Colour narrower objects in blue, and the narrowest in yellow.
Look at the items in the classroom. Are the doors wider then the windows? Which pictures on the wall are wide, and which are narrow? Which books are wide and which are narrow on the shelves? Which cup can hold more water, blue or red? What about red and yellow cups?

Straight and curved lines Trace the straight line with blue, and curved line with red colour. Connect kangaroo and its cub with a straight line. Connect zebra with its cub with a curved line. Carful not to cross the lines.
