World Streat Food , Nariman Point, Mumbai As the name rightly states, ‘World Streat Food’ is a multi cuisine restaurant with the look and feel of a street. The client wanted the restaurant to serve food from 51 different countries, so the ambience needed to reflect a multi colored pallette. Hence, keeping this thought in mind the walls had murals, wall art and chandeliers. Multi - colored seating with wooden rafter ceiling and ambient lighting became an important aspect of the interiors. The main challenge was to work in a compact space for a seating capacity of 55 people, the provision of a bar counter, grill stations and a private dining area, all of which was a part of the client’s brief. Beer Bumms, Sky Cafe, Mumbai Beer Bumms at Sky Café is a commercial outlet situated in the prime location of Colaba, near Sterling theater in a heritage structure, the essence of which had to preserved. The main challenge was to keep the facade of the structure intact and design the open beer counter and café in congruence with the facade. Keeping in mind the Victorian style design of the heritage structure, wooden pergola with creepers were used over the display counter. Wooden finished seatings with metal frames and jaali partitions add a rustic touch to the space. The internal café had brick cladding, barrel shaped seatings and a bar counter with murals. All of this reinforces the idea of an informal meeting space, which was a part of the client’s brief.

Chembur Residence, Mumbai (Design Stage)
Living Room
As per the client’s brief, the interiors for this residence had to depict a modernistic touch. The back wall of the T.V. unit is a full length mirror to add to the compact space. The grandparent’s bedroom was designed as a fusion of classical ambience and modern style, with a white background and wooden frames. The Children’s bedroom was designed as a casual studio room with a free standing mirror and a darker pallette. The use of wooden rafters and frames in the Master Bedroom add a warmth and highlight the white and gold of the wall panel.
