SCHOOL philosophy Our School has a strong commitment to academic achievement, small class sizes and the provision of a learning journey from the Early Learning Centre through to the Senior School. The School ensures that every child is known personally. Literacy and Numeracy are especially important and each child’s learning needs are met through challenge for those who are talented and additional support for those who have areas of difficulty. Our School is ideally placed to implement the forthcoming Australian Curriculum ELC to 12. Many sports and other extra curricular activities provide for balance across school life. Our mission is directed and inspired by the Greek Orthodox Faith and Hellenic culture. The School honours its Patrons, Saints Anargiri, for their faith
filled lives and service to their communities. The best of Greek spirituality, traditions and language are explored as our students develop from early childhood, through the middle years to Year 12 and young adulthood. They are encouraged to bring faith and leadership into their future study and working lives. We have committed staff who nurture the whole person, excellent facilities and a vibrant and involved community. Together we provide our students with a strong sense of family, school and the wider community. The friendships and networks made at Oakleigh Grammar last a lifetime.
