ABOUT ME

My name is Kristina Savarauskaite - TRASHNE (name as a fashion designer).

From a young age, I had a strong passion for the arts, particularly ballet and theater. I loved dressing up as a ballerina or movie character.

As I grew older, I discovered a love for music and spent 12 years playing the cello and piano, eventually graduating from music conservatory.

While music expanded my worldview, I felt limited in expressing my full creativity.

This led me to pursue fashion design, where I believe the most important aspects are the idea, message, and uniqueness. I am fully committed to this path and have never doubted my decision.

EDUCATION:

• Secondary education: Vilnius Juozo – Tallat Kelpšos Conservatory

• In a bachelor‘s degree program: Vilnius College of Design / IUAD Milano ( fashion design )

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• “Zara” 2020/2021 - part time job, I worked as a sales person / consultant

• Private designer 2021-2022 - I worked as a left hand assistant for individual sewing.

#Übermensch – a person’s image that physically and spiritually overcomes possibilities of human nature.

What is the future of a man?

How much can we overcome while trying to innovate?

What are the possibilities of a human mind and what is behind it’s limits?

“Post Naked” is about self-evaluation. I wanted to convey meta-human creatures that are looking for their reflection in Earth (as an allusion to everyone’s inner self).

I created clothes that reflect light, to showcase how different angles of light changes the garment, creates lots of reflections and will never look the same under different lighting conditions, just as us – humans.
