New Nordic Food II (NNF II) is a communication programme under the Nordic Council of Ministers that promotes Nordic food in the region and internationally. NNF II sees gastronomy as a valuable creative industry and promotes cooperation with other Nordic creative industries.

As part of the forthcoming Ja Ja Ja Festival, NNF II is inviting emerging food artists (chef/designers) from the Nordic countries to be part of an exciting cross-creative collaboration between music and food. The project will involve Nordic musicians partnering with Nordic food artists - who will then design and develop a special “Nordic Sound Bite”, based of ’DNA’ of the individual musician’s sound and characteristics. The Nordic Sound Bite is to be experienced live and could be of any shape, design or character. The process will be curated by designer Nikolaj Danielsen from Madeleines Madlab. and the concept will be presented publicly at the Ja Ja Ja Festival, a major two-day event taking place at London’s iconic Roundhouse..
