FITNESS Classes are 50 minutes in length, unless otherwise noted. Classes are offered on a first-come, basis only. To reduce the risk of injury and prevent class disruptions, no admittance will be allowed ten minutes after the class is scheduled to begin. Classes subject to change without notice. Schedules are available in all Kroc Center venues and at www.kroccenter.org.

Step Aerobics This class is energy-filled and heart pumping, combining step movements with strength and conditioning exercises on the floor. All levels. Zumba ® The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves, resulting in a one-of-akind fitness program. Achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in this exciting calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring workout meant to engage and captivate for life! Zumba ® Gold This program was designed for the older active adult, a person who hasn’t been exercising in a long time or individuals who may be limited physically. Zumba Gold utilizes the same great Latin styles of music and dance as used in Zumba basic program.

Silver Sneakers CARDIO Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is used for standing support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

SilverSneakers Yoga Taught from seated and standing positions. Participants learn a variety of safe and effective options designed to increase flexibility and balance and improve well being.

AM Yoga All of the things expected from a great yoga class, offered at a time to relax and energize participants for the day ahead. Beginner Yoga Beginner Yoga is the perfect class if you are looking for an introduction to Yoga classes. This class specifically focuses on stretching and flexibility, if you are looking for a relaxing class to help you ease in to the weekend, this is for you! Gentle Yoga A mat-based yoga class with postures designed to improve balance, flexibility, muscle tone, and range of motion. Sunrise Yoga Greet the sun with a yoga practice that combines gentle warm-ups and a variety of seated, standing, reclining, and balance yoga poses with breath awareness. Power Yoga A fast-paced, high-energy yoga routine with dynamic, flowing sequences of postures designed to build strength at the edge of flexibility. Expect a challenging and athletic class with rhythmic music and a variety of routines. Absolute Abs! Work your core like never before. In this session your abs and back get a hard-core workout with stabilizing movements and strength training. Body Sculpting Circuit Training workout utilizing resistance training, class cardio exercises, Pilates and isometrics to sculpt and define specific body parts. Burn Out! Looking for an extra kick? Burn Out! is a full body workout combining resistance training with dumbbells and resistance bands, and cardiovascular endurance drills. Kettlebell Training - INTERMEDIATE This class is a perfect combination of Cardio and Strength. Kettle Bell training utilizes weights specifically designed for swinging and rotating in the hand resulting in high intensity strength training. This is not a beginner class; mid level strength training knowledge is needed in order to participate.

Solid cycling principles, top-notch coaching, and awesome tunes, all in our custom group cycling studio make this a workout to remember. Mellow Cycling Group Cycling with a mellow approach. Paced for beginners, yet challenging enough for the intermediate and advanced rider.

Mat Pilates A medium-paced floor workout with an emphasis on posture, this class unites stretching and deep breathing to increase your flexibility, mobility, and core muscles. Ballet Body BootCamp A total body workout that lifts your glutes, tones your thighs and burns fat. Utilizing the back of a chair for balance to perform small isometric movements set to fun, motivating music. On The Ball A full body workout on the Swiss Exercise Ball, using light weights, Pilates method for core strengthening & stretching to upbeat music. Pump! Total body strength and conditioning class utilizing a variety of free weights and band resistance, all while keeping an up-tempo cardio pace. Total Toning Strengthening and toning for the major muscle groups using a variety of strength and sculpting techniques, including dumbbell and body resistance. Participants tailor their workout to optimize results. TRX TRAINING - INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED With suspension training, and gravity your body will become the machine- building strength, flexibility and core all at the same time. With the dozens of TRX exercises you can experience a total body workout with one simple piece of equipment.

GROUP CYCLING CLASSES LIFE OPTIONS Ages 16 and over

Cycle Cross Half cycle & half Boot Camp- this 90 minute workout features the very latest in cross training! Cycle in the Kroc Center’s custom group cycling studio for 60 minutes, then head out for 30 minutes of leg toning, core strengthening, and upper body muscle building that will leave you pumped and perspiring. Cycle Rewind Group Cycling featuring your favorite tunes from years past and beyond. Enjoy riding inside the Kroc Center’s custom group cycling studio while grooving to the oldies!

Sweat Factory! A high-energy version of group cycling, offering intense intervals, dynamic resistance changes, and proven advanced calorie burning cycling techniques. Guaranteed to help participants burn maximum calories and sweat like never before!

MARTIAL ARTS LIFE OPTIONS

Unlike most fitness classes, Martial Arts courses are offered in sessions. Martial Arts meet every week. Fees are due prior to attending the first lesson of each month Karate Ages 5+ The Kroc Center offers Karate in the Traditional style Cuong Nhu Oriental Martial Arts. Lead by Sensei Russ Eggleston and Victoria Johnson, Cuong Nhu is a martial art that blends the basic elements of a number of different styles. Cuong Nhu students explore not just technical, but also mental and spiritual aspects of training. FITNESS CENTER ETIQUETTE The following Kroc Policies are in place to keep all of our members and guests safe. Access to the Fitness Center is restricted to guests 16 years of age or older (id required), unless enrolled in a Fitness Center class Teen members ages 14 & 15 may access the fitness center after completing a 1-hour teen fitness orientation. Members and guests are asked to carry identification and membership cards or day passes at all times. All guests must have a signed facility waiver on file. Towels are required for every person working out in the Fitness Center. Towels may be purchased at the gymnasium guest service desk for $4 (subject to availability). There is a 20-minute maximum usage time per machine during peak use periods. Classes are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. Appropriate exercise attire required (workout clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes).

Wednesday & Saturday $45 Guests/ $33 members NO KARATE SAT OCT 12 Tae Kwon Do Ages 8+ The Kroc Center offers a Traditional Tae kwon Do Class. Lead by Instructor Jake Ore 6th Degree Black Belt with over 30 years Tae Kwon Do experience This class is designed to offer a challenging aerobic workout while learning traditional Tae Kwon Do techniques and forms. Self defense, long staff and short sticks are also included in the workouts. Intended for people looking for a physically and mentally challenging experience. From beginner to advanced.

AQUATICS GROUP 16+ Adult Water Workout Stretch, tone, and improve cardiovascular fitness in this slower-paced class designed for mature active adults wishing to Increase range of motion and flexibility. Location: Therapy Pool Ai Chi (Flowing Aquatics Energy) Ai Chi marries the eastern art of Tai Chi with aquatic therapy. It promotes improvements in deep breathing, coordination, balance, flexibility, and muscle strength. Location: Therapy Pool Aquasize! A resistance exercise program used to build strength and endurance utilizing specialized water fitness equipment. Appropriate for all fitness levels. Location: Recreation Pool

Aqua Zumba The Aqua Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves, resulting in a one-of-a-kind fitness program in the water. Achieve long-term benefits while this “pool party” burns calories and energizes your body and mind. Location: Recreation Pool

Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Exercise Classes include a series of pool activities led by certified Arthritis Foundation instructors. Participants are guided through a selection of 85 movements designed by exercise specialists, geared to reduce the pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. With the aid of water’s buoyancy and resistance, participants improve flexibility, strength and range of motion. Swimming skills are not required. Location: Therapy Pool Deep Water Workout Fast-paced, no-impact class designed to build cardiovascular strength while creating muscle tone. Participants must feel comfortable in deep water. Location: Competition Pool Wall, Core & More Challenging work out in the Deep Water. Participants will do wall work and cardio while engaging their core muscles. Participants need to be comfortable working on the wall and jogging/ running in deep water. COME JOIN OUR KROC LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM! Each level has three basic components: personal water safety, water comfort, and stroke development. Our hope is that more people will take advantage of the Kroc Center’s Learn to Swim program to develop competency in swimming, along with confidence and endurance. We provide swimming lessons for all ages and abilities: Parent/ Child (6 mos-36 mos)Preschool(3-5yrs)Youth(6+), Competitive and Adults. ATHLETICS LIFE OPTIONS SKATE PARK Ages 6 and over Our indoor Skatepark contains elements that challenge both the beginner and advanced skateboarder. For maximum safety, kneepads, elbow pads and a helmet are required for all skaters 17 years old and under. Helmets are required for skaters 18 years and up.
