Instrumentation Voices SSAATTBB

Percussion - a heavy thick metal or ceramic plate (ca. 0.5x40x40 cm) with a rough surface amplified with a contact microphone through a guitar amp and played with the fingers, a brush (scrubber), a heavy solid ball like a pool/billiard ball, and two long rods attached to the plate with claps, one vibrating slower, one faster that the pulse indicated - an electric guitar laying on a table amplified through a guitar amp and played with fingers, a light stick, and a violin bow - vibraphone - sand paper played with foot on floor Both altos, tenor 1 and bass 1 each have a megaphone (non-electric).

The vowels and consonants in [ ] are from the International Phonetic Alphabet and based on American English pronunciation.

If you pass the rays of the sun through a hole shaped like a star, you will see a beautiful effect of perspective on the spot where the rays of the sun fall.

If you look at the sun or some other bright object and then shut your eyes, you will see it again inside your eyes for a long time.

If the sun is in the East and you look to the West, you will see everything in full light and completely without shadow, because you see them from the same side as the sun. And if you look towards the South or North, you will see all objects in light and in shade, because you see both the side towards and the side away from the sun. And if you look in the direction from which the sun is coming, all objects will show you their shaded side, because on that side the sun cannot fall.

Describe how it is that no object has its limitation in the mirror but in the eye which sees it in the mirror. For if you look at your face in the mirror, the parts resembles the whole in as much as the part is everywhere in the mirror, and the whole is in every part of the same mirror; and the same is true of the whole image of any object placed opposite to this mirror.

The air is filled with endless image of the objects of the objects distributed in it; and all are represented in all, and all are in one, and each is in all, so, if two mirrors are placed in exactly facing each other, the first will be reflected in the second and the second in the first. The first being reflected in the second it also shows the image of itself with all the images represented in it, among which is the image of the second mirror, and so, image with image. This continues on to infinity each mirror has within it a mirror, each smaller than the last and one inside the other.

Just like a stone, when tossed into the water, becomes the center and cause of many circles, or as sound diffuses in circles in the air: so will any object, placed in a bright space, radiate out in circles, filling the surrounding air with infinite images of itself. This is repeated over and over, the whole everywhere, and the whole in every infinitely small part.
