Message from Mr Fletcher

PPE exams

Year 11 are currently in the middle of completing their last set of PPE exams prior to their GCSEs that will begin in mid-May. I appreciate that this is a challenging time for all students but I wanted to acknowledge how brilliantly they have done so far. Their attitude and maturity in the formal exam environment has been excellent and this experience will no doubt stand them in good stead moving forward.

Missed PPE exams

If for any reason students have missed any PPE exams through absence or illness they need to see Mr Halls, the Exams Officer, to arrange a convenient time to re-sit. Please make sure this is done as soon as possible so the rescheduled exam can be sat in the formal venue.

College/Sixth Form applications

Please be aware that colleges and Sixth Forms will still accept late applications even if deadlines have now passed. As mentioned to students previously it is a good idea to always have a 'back up plan' just in case!! As always if any support or guidance is needed with this please see Mrs Mason or myself.

Sixth Form interviews

If you have applied to study A levels/BTEC's at Roding Valley Sixth Form from September 2023, your interview will be on Monday 6th March in the Brook Study Area. They will run from 3.00pm - 5.15pm.

The list of appointment times is outside Mr Fletcher's YPL office and there is a copy on the window of the Brook Building.

If you cannot see your name, then please pop and see Mrs Sellears in the Sixth Form office. Have a good weekend

Mr Fletcher
