Year 7 News

Message from Miss Reed

It has been a busy week for our Year 7 cohort who have had their first set of assessments. This is a great chance for students to display all of their hard work and for teachers to check on the progress of your son/daughter. The students conducted themselves brilliantly in the exam hall and I am very proud of them all.

In a few weeks’ time, parents/carers will receive an updated school report which will have an attitude to learning grade and an indication of your son/daughters progress in each subject area.

Can I remind everyone of the expectations regarding uniform and equipment. Students should be in full school uniform every day apart from the days they have PE, on those days, students should wear full RVHS PE kit with their blazer. If students require to wear trainers for any reason, please ensure they have a note. Students should ensure that every day they are carrying the correct equipment for their lessons which includes a reading book.
