6th Form Art Exam

Well done to our year 12 and 13 art students who have just completed their 10-hour exam at the end of their final unit of coursework. Bear in mind that some of these pieces of work are at a very large scale!

Art is one of the only subjects that retains a 60% coursework element, so these timed practical tests are extremely valuable and important. Because of the exam board changes over the last 3 years, this was actually the first time some of these students had undertaken an extended piece of exam work…. a skill they need to embrace because their final exam is 15 hours spread over 3 full days in May!

AQA exam papers for the final exam are released on Thursday 2nd February. Then the fun begins!
