Dear Friends, The Berkshire International Film Festival’s dynamic audiences are growing, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to connect with them by advertising with the BIFF! As we approach our 10th Anniversary season, May 28-31 of 2015, we have built upon the momentum of bringing the best in film to the Berkshires as audiences experience firsthand a behind the scenes look at movie making with dozens of filmmakers and industry professionals in attendance. This positive, exciting experience draws a diverse, engaged, “plugged in” audience that seeks out dynamic cultural organizations, like the BIFF. The BIFF plays a significant role in the Berkshire community, attracting nearly 4,000 cultural tourists and locals during the 4-day festival. The BIFF creates opportunities for community involvement and togetherness, and enhances the image of the Berkshires as a cultural destination that benefits the local economy. Tourists in Massachusetts generate $15 billion in spending annually, so expose your business to the people you want to reach most, by advertising with the BIFF! And this year, we are creating a very special commemorative program that people will keep for years to come and in turn, will keep your business in front of our patrons for years to come. Not only does the BIFF attract audiences from all over the County, but also the country. Outside of MA, the top five states that had the highest participants in 2014 were PA, NY, CT, CA and NJ. Advertising with the BIFF is also an effective and inexpensive way to reach these audiences in comparison to other advertising outlets. Please join us in reaching new heights together…let’s celebrate! Lauren Ferin Executive Assistant

BIFF continues to grow… BIFF reaches 67% new visitors to our website annually.

Yankee Magazine called BIFF “one of the best events in MA.”

“It was a splendid and exciting weekend. And once again this community has a lot to thank you for. You bring vitality and energy and cultural experiences that enrich the Berkshires.” Jim Bouton, Writer, Former Professional Baseball player, Local

“It is a truly great festival and as someone said, all about the movies. You do a fabulous job with your community and I really liked a lot of the folks I met.” Abby Ginzberg, Filmmaker

“We have been loyal local patrons (missing only one year out of the past 9), and we thought that we didn’t see one film that wasn’t worth our time. I saw 14 films as a passholder and was blown away by so many. Please give our congratulations to your film selection committee and to all the volunteers who make the festival possible. This season will be a hard one to top at your 10th anniversary next year.” Adele and Paul Kellman, BIFF Passholders, Locals

“Having been now twice to BIFF, I can say confidently that not only is it one of the best film festivals I have ever been to but it definitely is the warmest. I very much understand the idea of the “second home” mentality up in the Berkshires as I really have that feeling returning to the festival.” Justin Liberman, Filmmaker
