Textile intern During this internship I got a hands on experience of learning and understanding the functioning of a textile unit. Key responsibilities were quality control and packaging of finished garments. Was involved with the group of women doing hand embroidery for saris, stoles and other products.
Responsibilities: Research, Market research, sourcing of costumes and region specific textiles and Design. Also included curating crafts and garments which were region specific to Amritsar, Punjab based on the script.

Design, concept and costume construction Based on the classical text of Faustus a parallel world was created reflecting on the demons within, corporate irresponsibility and apocalypse. In this project I experimented by designing huge human scale puppets inspired by asian crafts and costumes that changed forms and enveloped the space.
