Home Of Angels : “andel’s”
Being in Prague, where many centuries had been united.
The "andel's Hotel" is located in the 5th district of Prague and known to many locals as "Andel City" with very good transport links. “andel’s” lobby is more than generous and with their bright accents the front desk does searched at all when coming in the very first time.

The reception desk is a massive, elongated block of stone, which makes a floating impression. On top are several glass panels and from above are hanging modern lamp shades. Work resources are discreetly behind it, so that no screen or other things interrupting the eye contact between guests and receptionist.

White hanging textiles are functioning as room-dividers in order to separate seating arrangements as well as a few working-stations for the guest, who wants to check for instant their webmail. Three elevators are bordered significantly with a light-frame, so that it does not even come up to the usual question where the lift to the rooms is situated.
The hotel has 239 rooms, right next – a kind of an annex- are the "andel's Suites” with again 51 studios, apartments and marionettes. We lived in a studio and felt immediately like angels; perhaps because anděl is the Czech word for it? Stepping out on your floor from the lift, you can see paintings with figures of flapping creatures. These are birds or even the angels? The hallways are designed with highquality carpet material and brightly lit.
Again a silent and comfortable feeling. We have never heard our neighbors. A quick look around in the studio confirmed, that the facilities of the rooms and bathrooms deserves its 4 stars.
Unobtrusive furniture - mostly from Italy- let us felt well and the bed actually invites you to have breakfast in it. But to watch the morning-news on TV from your bedside is already a pleasure; because the mattresses were neither too hard nor too soft. The WC and the shower have their own areas and are separated by milky glass walls and doors.
On the ground floor again is the well stocked "Oscar's bar" and next it, by going upstairs we discovered the huge restaurant "Delight" for over 220 guests, where either large groups or peaceful 2 - and 4 table arrangements can sit together. Glass and stone here determines the ambience, whilst a glass light-well is in a dialogue with the staircase.
We made also nice experience with the hotel cuisine, perhaps a little bit Bohemian something hearty, but yet most easy and varied. So, sushi is not a secret for the chef. All meat and fish dishes were of the highest quality and the salads and vegetables as fresh as they had just been harvested. Unmistakably then the Austrian captive towards the desserts, no wonder because the "andel's" belongs to the Vienna International Hotel management group.
We also should mention how suitable the hotel would be for business meetings and conferences because there are altogether 15 rooms available. But rather more, we wanted to explore the venerable old town of Prague, as you might see on our nightly slide-show on http://youtu.be/_3e4QvnI7XY . Enjoy!
