A Floating Bath Tub

A floating bath tub Why should a cruise liner not have also whirlpool tubs by Kaldewei on deck?

The "Celebrity Solstice" is on the move all over the world. But mostly, she sails in the Mediterranean. It is owned by an American shipping company, but in terms of being a luxury liner it has been built in Germany by the famous Meyer Werft. Four other sister ships there yet: each 315 meter long, 37 m wide and 17 decks high. Much longer is not really possible as the locks and power lines towards the open North Sea are not bigger than this. These dimensions are, but, for some passengers (2,835 at full occupancy) already at the ceiling. Some cruising vessels in the Caribics are however almost twice as large.

But you have not the "Aqua-class" on all the other passenger vessels. The Aqua class is specifically geared to wellness-oriented cruise ship passengers and includes exclusive access to their luxuriously equipped spa area - namely on the balcony! Instead of lifeboats you find there the "CONODUO"- baths from Kaldewei.

Made from domestic stainless steel plates covered with steel enamel these tubs resist the salt water and strong weathering. Furthermore they have been covered specifically with a so-called pearl effect, i.e. any kind of water rolls off easily from the tub and wash away almost all dirt particles. In addition, the built-in whirl system works without trailing pipes. The protection of the environment is on board, too. The Solstice and her sisters offer one of the most exclusive spa experiences over the seven seas; because the passengers can relax on the balcony of their suite with views over the ocean, but also in the gentle bathwater. Ahoy! By the way, Kaldewei bath tubs have a 30 year guarantee. Will the ship still sail after such a long period? And most important: There are enough lifeboats on board anyway.
