The Atmosphere Makes All The Difference
Have you ever gone through one of the oldest streets of Stralsund, namely the Fährstraße? Yes? Then you have admired a fountain and the facade of the hotel "Scheelehof", and photographed it. In the forking Schillstraße, so next to the hotel there is now an aparthotel, with the beautiful name “Altes Schwedisches Konsulat” (Old Swedish Consulate). No wonder; Stralsund was once Swedish and had always maintained good relations towards the kingdom with the three crowns.
"Altes Schwedisches Konsulat" offers modern flair in a heritage house from the 18th century, which has 3 floors with 12 rooms. Large rooms and high ceilings make the vintage flair complete. All rooms are equipped with a seating area and a kitchenette which has of course a refrigerator and a microwave oven.

The ground floor apartments can be entered via a staircase from the courtyard. Anyway, the aparthotel is located in a quiet part of Stralsund, but in the courtyard there is really silence, except when occasionally a cat is meowing. The main floor on the first floor shows off discreetly with their high stucco ceilings and the historic floor. Here, the Swedes have once represented their country.
A few meters from this stylish apart hotel located is the "Scheelehof", the Restaurant "scheel's" and a coffee roaster shop. There, you can have of course also your excellent breakfast or dinner.
In addition to the great atmosphere - in both houses - invites you to explore the unique proximity to all attractions in the hanseatic town. This means you can spend really several days in this place in order to visit really everything and enjoy always the fresh smell of the nearby Baltic Sea.
