I am interested by the relationship between how a specific group of people uses both social media and their consumption to identify themselves as a person.

for pocketbook & promotional giftset An experimental design project for a Thai pocketbook, Naitaosai Dekchaitaokwah (step left, step right), written by Zcongklod Bangyikhan. Overall, the main content of this book is all about the writer’s childhood. His fond memeries were revealed in a nostalgic tone. I chose 3 chapters of this book to intrepret into illustrations for a 10-year-anniversary promotional giftset package, which contains of this book, two postcards, and a paper-doll magnet.

The Judgement 28/01/2012 A novel published by howling books This commercial project was developed from my undergraduate thesis. The red flower represents one of the lead ing characters, Somsong, of this novel. She is a deranged widow who live with her deceased husband’s son. This had led them to become the outsiders of the small village afterwards. The Coral Hibiscus is a rare tropical flower which suits well with the character of Somsong. The bold colour and its form convey her uniqueness and the mood and tone of the story perfectly.
‘Don´t bother’ city 03/09/2012 This is a collected short stories 2 published by Howling Books, 9th printing Various types of agricultural animals, for example, duck, (scape) goat, buffalo, pig, chicken, and so on, in prisoner uniforms represent how most politicians treat their people. Additionally, this scheme is also inspired by a Thai proverb, lead by the nose, which means to pierce a buffalo's nose prior to lead it around. Goat = scapegoats in prisons Buffalo and Cow = Thai proverb about people who are forced by others Pig, Chicken and duck = the most common agricultural animals in Thailand Deer = people who are exploited by others because of their appearance, like news about people hunting animal heads
No Way Out 25/11/2012 A short novel published by Howling Books, 17th printing A view of floating weeds around the main character's house located in the slum where is no way out to escape from struggles Boonma was sentenced to death, but the court commuted the sentence to life imprisonment because of his full confession. He didn’t appeal to the Supreme Court. He did nothing, except quietly accept his sentence. Sometimes, late at night, fellow prisoners heard him wailing, like a tortured animal, alone.
Journal : The Absurd Story of Life 14/10/2012 An essay published by Howling Books, 5th printing This journal was written about the writer's past experiences when he traveled around the USA and Alaska. As this trip was a long journey, salmon which is mentioned in the book many times, is used as a metaphor for himself. This is because the nature of this fish is to return to their origins, no matter how far they have migrated, for the ‘big bang‘ or reproductive event.
