IMATU represents over 106 000 members countrywide. professional and committed team of well-motivated office bearers, shop stewards and staff, who negotiate wage/salary increases and improved conditions of service. • We represent our members in grievances, “…suspension hearings, disciplinary enquiries and unfair dismissals.” • We negotiate a stable work environment for our members and take action against managers who are guilty of unfair labour practices. • We communicate effectively throughout all levels of our union and encourage members to become actively involved in the various structures of the union.
