AVSI is an international, non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in Italy in 1972. AVSI has always implemented development and humanitarian assistance programmes in many countries around the world thanks to its on-site management skills, qualified technical staff and innovative strategies in the fields of education, food security, health and nutrition, social protection, HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, emergency and disaster response. All this to fulfill its mission: to create positive and lasting change in the lives of the most vulnerable individuals, families and communities by following the teachings of the Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church. Covering a spectrum from humanitarian to long-term development programmes, AVSI has worked and is still working in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Eastern Europe to improve the lives of communities and people living in very difficult circumstances.

The Italian Red Cross (ItRC) is a voluntary organization whose fundamental purposes are health and social assistance in both peacetime and times of conflict. Its strong national network consists of a National Committee, 21 Regional Committees, 651 Territorial Committees and more than 160,000 volunteers.

dence, Volunteerism, Unity and Universality. The seven principles are embodied in the work that the Italian Red Cross does alongside the National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Over time, the ItRC has established itself within the Movement as a stable and trusted presence, aiming to create partnerships to support National Societies in the implementation of their strategic development plans

- Humanitarian Principles and Values, Health protection, social inclusion,- International Cooperation, Disaster preparedness and response,migration, Earthquake in Central Italy, Youththe contributing the youth's capacities, fostering inclusion and respect for diversity, training , climate change. The Association trains its Volunteers to respond to the needs of local communities and increase response capacity in emergencies.
