President's Letter Hey Key Clubbers! Hope you all are staying safe and enjoying your break at this time! Just wanted to pop in and say that I'm very excited to officially serve as your president this upcoming term! I am more than ready to utilize my skills, experiences, lessons learned from my past year being webmaster and learning from my outties to lead our club. Some goals I have this year are to include increased membership growth, nurture more young leaders, and to increase our club's involvement in our community. I also plan to implement more community service and workshops in afternoon meetings, as well as consider Snapchat as another platform of communication. My role as president is to lead our board to reach and surpass these goals via delegating tasks and emphasizing the importance of teamwork while creating fun and new memories. With that said, I'm more than proud of our progress and everything we've done in our past board, and I'm ecstatic for the new. Don't be afraid to come say hi if you see me at school (whenever that starts up again)! Stay toasty :)

In love and service,

Lauren Ma Lauren Ma 2020-2021 KWKC President

Editor's Note Hey hey Kentwood Key Club! I'm extremely excited to be releasing my first ever newsletter! It's crazy for me to think that my first term is here, but i'm ecstatic and can't wait to serve you guys. Becoming the incoming editor has been a crazy process for me. From elections to training to now, it's been a movie! But this is only the beginning, and I can't wait to see what the future of our club holds (You can learn more about me on page 6!). The purpose of my newsletters is to inform y'all about what's poppin' within our club, and to make sure you guys always have KWKC resources on hand (also not to mention our club's key-yute visuals!). This is the first of many newsletters, so feedback is always welcome. Don't hesitate to contact me if you ever feel there's something to improve (compliments are groovy too!).

In love and service,

Jillian Canolo Jillian Canolo 2020-2021 KWKC Bulletin Editor

Hey Key-uties! Welcome to our new 2020-2021 board! To start off, I would like to say I'm MORE than excited for everything that's to come this term. Every role on our board has major responsibilities tied to them. The completion of all our duties pulls our board together making us a strong key club family. And this includes all of you! I am confident in my fellow officer's abilities and am envisioning a year of success ahead for us. Our outties paved a great road for us, and we'll miss them bunches! If needed, feel free to contact any one of us! Always check our social media, website, and Jill's aesthetic newsletters. Always ask questions when needed and don't be afraid to come and say hi to us at school! With that, don't forget to use hand sanitizer, and stay toasty! <3

Hi everyone! My name is Emi and I am now serving as your vice president for this 2020-2021 school year. Some fun facts about me: I'm Wasian! I eat a lot of cookies and spend most of my time watching Gossip Girl. Hello everyone! My name is Kristy and I now serve as your secretary! Unfortunately due to the closure of school , I am unable to introduce myself properly to my wonderful members, but I still get to through this newsletter! I hope to welcome you all to an exciting journey of service and spreading (not germs) lots of love and kindness all around. My goals this year is to increase membership, spirit, track attendance and hours, and of course work intensively on secretary reports to report every detail to the district. I'm very excited to be working with you all to give everyone opportunities to enjoy and love their years in key club! Some fun facts about me: I'm Chinese, a bad parker , and I spend way too much time watching cliche dramas. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me!

Your Your New New Hey wassup guys! My name is Andrew and I 'm your new treasurer for the 20202021 term. Some facts about myself are that I'm Vietnamese with a little bit of Chinese blood, I run track, and I love traveling. I would love to explore Asian countries, especially Vietnam! I 'm very excited to begin my term and have many goals to better you guys' experience in this club. I want to find fun and interesting fundraisers that you guys will enjoy. I would also like to lower the cost of DCON, (which we unfortunately attend this year due to COVID-19) because I want you all to be able to apply without worrying about money issues (and hopefully another pandemic) . Feel free to ask me anything whether it's in person or through social media. Also please suggest any fundraising event ideas we can hold for our club/ district project if you have any!

Hi guys! I'm Jillian, the editor behind all things key-yute for KWKC! From our recent IG posts to meeting PowerPoints to the newsletter you're reading right now, all are/will be created by yours truly! The purpose of my position is to present info and updates about our club to you all efficiently and accessibly through various platforms, and I can't wait to do it in creative and aesthetic ways. It's amazing for me to be in a position as fun as this one, and I can't wait to work with my board members to serve you all. It's gonna be a good year of love and service, I know it (once this whole quarantine period ends)! Some fun facts about me are that I'm full Filipino, I love Harry Styles, and I'm a pole vaulter for the KW Track team. If you ever see me around, don't be afraid to say hi! And please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Hope to see you all soon, stay clean!

Hey Key Clubbers! My name's Michael and I'm your new webmaster. Some fun facts you might not know about me is that I love spicy foods and I'm left-handed! My goal for the term is to make the key club website more aesthetically pleasing and easier to find service events to sign up for. Hopefully we'll see each other at service events some time! To top it off, keep yourself safe by practicing social distancing!

Hey everyone! My name is Lam and I will be your fundraising head for the 2020-2021 term! One of my biggest goals is to encourage more people to go and participate in fundraisers by communicating with the club. I hope that we can come up with memorable fundraisers that will not only help our club raise money, but also help strengthen the bonds within our club, as well as give opportunities to create new ones. When it comes to my interests, I love to go and hang out with friends and go on late night boba runs. On my free time I like to play tennis, video games and listen to music. I play violin and piano, and I'm 100% Vietnamese. With high hopes for the future and the rest of the term, feel free to mention and ask us about any fundraisers that'll help us achieve our goals.
