The idea was to put lit billboards on one sid e of a small alley running next to the river Rotte , because of the unsafe feeling the residents had when walking there. Hence, the project theme was: “safety”. My artwork was chos en to be featured, alo ng with 17 other designs . It’s title is “Curfew”, and it shows a night scene with a street in the background, and a pa ir of arms gesturing at a wristwatch. I though t it would be funny to draw something about curfe ws, because I feel relat ed to the fear of walking somewhere at night. So this raises a question: Maybe it’s better to sta y home after dark instea d of feeling threaten ed by the shadow of a stran ger? lands
