In the first month of creating Cipher 6’s concept, Kyla Campbell conducted various questionnaires and interviews with her target audience. After the results were in, Kyla noticed that more than half of her audience said that reading inspirational books/quotes motivate them in their everyday life. She also noticed that more than half of her audience said that they either don’t or sometimes interact with blind individuals because they don’t know how. With this she proceeded with the original concept of her company. Cipher 6 is where their consumers, people of different communities, can come together to not only look stylish but to learn how to read braille, and have the opportunity to donate to blind foundations. For example, unlike their competition, Cipher 6 embeds each garment with inspirational words written in braille and in English in a creatively designed way. The braille versions are embroidered or puff printed onto the garment. As for the English version, the word is printed in a traditional t-shirt vinyl print. Cipher 6 is a better company because of its better quality, less expensive apparel, high percentage of proceeds go to donations to

blind foundations, and informative braille lettering. The brand most importantly puts emphasis on the awareness of the blind community and spreads culture conscious. With a lot of hard work and intense research Kyla will thoughtfully pitch and create her professional quality company, Cipher 6. Cipher 6 is a clothing brand to be worn by the blind and non-visually impaired, which solves the problem of the division between two communities, as they are brought together through fashion. This clothing brand’s specific concept is brilliant, due to the fact that it’s purpose is to close the miscommunicated gap between these two communities. This will be done by using embroidered braille in apparel design was to unite people and create a better understanding of what someone that cannot see goes through. It also serves the purpose of both communities being stylish and comfortable while supporting blind awareness. Fifteen percent of each purchase goes to research for blind foundations.
