make ideas happen HSS PROJECT HEAD & DEPUTY

PRIMER S.Y. 2015-2016

A message from the President Dear Health Sci major,

!

As an organization, the Health Sciences Society (HSS) aims to form Health Sciences majors who have a wide and holistic perspective of health and to soldier this advocacy within the Ateneo community and outside of it as well through the building of a community of Health Sciences majors and to fuel this passion for a healthier Philippines.

!

With this new school year, the HSS is looking for heads for the various projects (with some new additions to our roster) that we will be holding throughout this brand new school year. Selected heads will be leading project teams in order to make known our advocacy of promoting public health and to provide more avenues for bonding and interaction for all Health Sci majors throughout the school year.

!

Aside from the project heads, we are also looking for deputies and officers who are willing to spend time and effort helping out in the different offices in HSS. Selected deputies and officers will learn the ropes of the office they will be assigned to and aid their respective offices in operating as parts of this system that is HSS.

!

I can tell you without a doubt that leading and serving the organization will be very worth the toil. Based on my past experiences in serving the HSS, you will come out a stronger person. These experiences will teach you new management skills and people skills along with a formation of a more resilient work ethic. Of course, a much more important take away from signing up will be the chance to serve a community of excellence and to become part of the solution in making a healthier nation.

!

I speak on behalf of the 2015-2016 Executive Board and the Council of Representatives when I say: go for it! Take the plunge with all of us this year and lead a project team or serve the Health Sciences community as a deputy. This is your chance to help build this organization. This is your chance to grow and learn. This is your chance to serve.

!

After all, this is YOUR public health advocacy. This is YOUR home organization. This is YOUR Health Sciences Society.

!

Make it yours, Health Sci major.

! !
