Introducing Kroger’s Fresh Fare Demo Kitchen. An easily integrated 8’x10’ experience that connects Kroger and it’s customers through interaction. At Kroger’s Fresh Fare Demo Kitchen small quantities of fresh herbs and vegetables are grown on-site, and used by Kroger chef’s in quick and engaging cooking demos. These demo’s introduce customers to the freshest flavors. Fresh Fare inspires Kroger customers to bring home knowledge, new recipes, and fresh flare.
How it works.
Kroger’s Fresh Fare Demo Kitchen utilizes a state of the art, rotating, self watering, LED GRO-Light system to insure Kroger patron’s recieve the freshest, most flavorful, live produce year round. The unit’s planters can even be switched out and maintained without disturbing the customer experience via a back-of-house maitenence center.

The Fresh Fare Demo Kitchen features a variety of elements designed to delight and engage the customer. A built in bar where customer’s can watch a Fresh Fare Chef prepare small plates using the produce grown in the kitchen’s back wall can be found within the covered portion of the fixture. Flat panel monitors are mounted on either side of the fixture to display the chef’s fresh selection of the day. Customers can harvest the most flavorful seasonal produce directly from the fixtures branded copper planters using tools and boxes found in the storage bin below. Guests can also find additional Kroger merchandise and perfectly paired wines located in the lighted shelves adjacent to the growing produce. Kroger chef’s can enjoy having every essential tool at their fingertips to prepare the most flavorful dishes using fresh produce harvested from the Fresh Fare Demo Kitchen. The kitchen itself boasts a six-burner stove, sink, refridgerator, and ample storage space.
Igniting a Passion Kroger’s Fresh Fare Demo Kitchen will offer guests the freshest in a variety of inspiring ingredients. Kroger patrons can expect to find a plethora of rotating seasonal ingredients growing at their local Fresh Fare Demo Kitchen. Produce such as strawberries, arugula, basil, and radishes develop exceptionally well under grow lights. These fresh ingredients can be harvested by Kroger customers and the Fresh Fare chef’s alike to create inspired meals all in the Fresh Fare Demo Kitchen.
