The Consequence Of Washington’s Reckless And Irresponsible Political And Military Interventions In Iraq, Libya, And Syria Has Been To Unleash Evil

he various sects that lived in peace under the rule of Saddam Hussein, Gaddafi, and Assad are butchering one another, and a new group, ISIS, is in the process of creating a new state out of parts of Iraq and Syria. The turmoil brought into the Middle East by the Bush and Obama regimes has meant death and displacement for millions and untold future deaths. As I write 40,000 Iraqis are stranded on a mountain top without water awaiting death at the hands of ISIS, a creation of US meddling. The reality in the Middle East stands in vast contradiction to the stage managed landing of George W. Bush on the US aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln where Bush declared “Mission Accomplished” on May 1, 2003. The mission that Washington accomplished was to wreck the Middle East and the lives of millions of people and to destroy America’s reputation in the process. Thanks to the demonic neoconservative Bush regime, today America is regarded by the rest of the world as the greatest threat to world peace. The Clinton regime’s attack on Serbia set the pattern. Bush upped the ante with Washington’s naked aggression against Afghanistan, which Washington clothed in Orwellian language–”Operation Enduring Freedom.” Washington brought ruin, not freedom, to Afghanistan. After 13 years of blowing up the country, Washington is now withdrawing, the “superpower” having been defeated by a few thousand lightly armed Taliban, but leaving a wasteland behind for which Washington will accept no responsibility. Another source of endless Middle East

turmoil is Israel whose theft of Palestine is Washington-enabled. In the middle of Israel’s latest attack on civilians in Gaza, the US Congress passed resolutions in support of Israel’s war crimes and voted hundreds of millions of dollars to pay for Israel’s ammunition. Here we witness Great Moral America 100 percent in support of unambiguous war crimes against essentially defenseless people. When Israel murders women and children, Washington calls it “Israel’s right to defend their own country”–a country that Israel stole from Palestinians–but when Palestinians retaliate Washington calls it “terrorism.” By supporting Israel, declared to be a terrorist state by a few moral governments that still exist, and accused of war crimes by the UN General Secretary, Washington is in violation of its own laws against supporting terrorist states. Of course, Washington itself is the leading terrorist state. Therefore, it is illegal under US law for Washington to support itself. Washington, however, does not accept law, neither domestic nor international, as a constraint on its actions. Washington is “exceptional, indispensable.” No one else counts. No law, no Constitution, and no humane consideration has authority to constrain Washington’s will. In its claims Washington surpasses those of the Third Reich. As horrific as Washington’s recklessness toward the Middle East is, Washington’s recklessness toward Russia is many orders of magnitude greater. Washington has convinced nuclear armed Russia that Washington is planning a nuclear first strike.

In response Russia is beefing up its nuclear forces and testing US air defense reactions.1 It is difficult to imagine a more irresponsible act than to convince Russia that Washington intends to hit Russia with a preemptive first strike. One of Putin’s advisers has explained to the Russian media Washington’s first strike intentions, and a member of the Russian Duma has made a documented presentation of Washington’s first strike intentions.2 By marshaling the evidence, I have pointed out in my columns that it is impossible for Russia to avoid this conclusion. China is aware that China faces the same threat from Washington.3 China’s response to Washington’s war plans against China was to demonstrate how China’s nuclear forces would be used in response to Washington’s attack on China to destroy the US. China made this public, hoping to create opposition among Americans to Washington’s war plans against China.4 Like Russia, China is a rising country that does not need war in order to succeed. The only country on earth that needs war is Washington, and that is because Washington’s goal is the neoconservative one of exercising hegemony over the world. Prior to the Bush and Obama regimes, every previous US president went to great efforts to avoid telegraphing any nuclear threat. US war doctrine was careful to keep nuclear weapons limited to retaliation in the event the US suffered a nuclear attack. The purpose of nuclear forces was to prevent the use of such weapons. The reckless George W. Bush regime elevated nuclear weapons to preemptive first use, thus destroying the constraint placed on the

use of nuclear weapons. The overriding purpose of the Reagan administration was to end the cold war and, thereby, the threat of nuclear war. The George W. Bush regime, together with the Obama regime’s demonization of Russia, have overturned President Reagan’s unique achievement and made nuclear war likely. When the incompetent Obama regime decided to overthrow the democratically elected government in Ukraine and install a puppet government of Washington’s choosing, the Obama State Department, run by neoconservative ideologues, forgot that the eastern and southern portions of Ukraine consist of former Russian provinces that were attached to the Ukraine Soviet Socialist Republic by Communist Party leaders when Ukraine and Russia were part of the same country–the Soviet Union. When the Russophobic stooges that Washington installed in Kiev demonstrated in word and deed their hostility to Ukraine’s Russian population, the former Russian provinces declared their desire to return to mother Russia. This is not surprising, nor is it something that can be blamed on Russia. Crimea succeeded in returning to Russia, where Crimea resided since the 1700s, but Putin, hoping to defuse the propaganda war that Washington was mounting against him did not accept the pleas from the other former Russian provinces. Consequently, Washington’s stooges in Kiev felt free to attack the protesting provinces and have been following the Israeli policy of attacking civilian populations, civilian residences, and civilian infrastructure. The presstitute Western media ignored the facts and accused Russia of invading and annexing parts of

Ukraine. This lie is comparable to the lies that US Secretary of State Colin Powell told the UN about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction in behalf of the criminal Bush regime, lies that Colin Powell later apologized for to no avail as Iraq had been destroyed by his lies. When the Malaysian airliner was destroyed, before any facts were known Russia was blamed. The British media was especially primed to blame Russia almost the instant it was known the airliner was downed. I heard the BBC’s gross misrepresentation and blatant lies on American National Public Radio, and only the Daily Mail’s propagandistic account was worse. The entire “news” event has the appearance of orchestration prior to the event, which, of course, suggests that Washington was behind it. The airliner deaths became all important for Washington’s propaganda war. The 290 casualties are unfortunate, but they are a small fraction of the deaths that Israel was inflicting on Palestinians at the same moment without provoking any protests from Western governments, as distinct from Western peoples in the streets, people whose protests were conveniently suppressed for Israel by Western security forces. Washington used the downing of the airliner, which probably was Washington’s responsibility, as an excuse for another round of sanctions and to pressure its European puppets to join the sanctions with sanctions of their own, which Washington’s EU puppets did. Washington relies on accusations and insinuations and refuses to release the evidence from the satellite photos, because the photos do not support Washington’s lies. Facts are not permitted to interfere with Washington’s demonization of Russia

any more than facts interfered with Washington’s demonization of Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Iran. Twenty-two reckless and irresponsible US senators have introduced the “Russian Aggression Prevention Act of 2014,” US Senate bill 2277, sponsored by Senator Bob Corker, who well represents in his ignorance and stupidity what appears to be the majority of the American population or the majority of voters in the state of Tennessee. Corker’s bill is a mindless piece of legislation designed to start a war that would be likely to leave no survivors. Apparently, idiotic Americans will elect any fool to power. The belief that Russia is responsible for the downed Malaysian airliner has become fact in Western capitals despite the total absence of even a tiny scrap of evidence in behalf of the claim. Moreover, even it the accusation were true, is one airliner worth a World War? The UK Defense Committee has concluded that a broke and militarily impotent UK must “focus on the defense of Europe against Russia.” The military spending drums, if not the war drums, are beating and the entire West has joined in. A militarily impotent Britain is going to defend Europe from a non-existent, although much proclaimed, attack from the Russian bear. US and NATO military dignitaries and the Pentagon chief are issuing Russia Threat Warnings based on alleged but non-existent Russian troop buildups on Ukraine’s border. According to the Western Ministry of Propaganda if Russia defends the Russian populations in Ukraine from military attack from Washington’s stooge government in Kiev, it is proof that Russia is the villain. Washington’s propaganda campaign has succeeded in turning Russia into

a threat. Polls show that 69 percent of Americans now regard Russia as a threat, and that the confidence of Russians in American leadership has vanished. Russians and their government observe the identical demonization of their country and their leader as they observed of Iraq and Saddam Hussein, of Libya and Gaddafi, of Syria and Assad, and of Afghanistan and the Taliban just prior to military assaults on these countries by the West. For a Russian, the safest conclusion from the evidence is that Washington intends war on Russia. It is my opinion that the irresponsibility and recklessness of the Obama regime is without precedent. Never before has the United States government or the government of any nuclear power gone to such great efforts to convince another nuclear power that that power was being set up for attack. It is difficult to imagine a more provocative act that more endangers life on earth. Indeed, the White House Fool has doubled up, convincing both Russia and China that Washington is planning a preemptive first strike on both. Republicans want to sue or to impeach Obama over relatively inconsequential issues, such as ObamaCare. Why don’t Republicans want to impeach Obama over such a critical issue as subjecting the world to the risk of nuclear armageddon? The answer is that the Republicans are as crazed as the Democrats. Their leaders, such as John McCain and Lindsay Graham, are determined that “we stand up to the Russians!” Wherever one looks in American politics one sees crazed people, psychopaths and sociopaths who should not be in political office. Washington long ago gave up diplomacy. Washington relies on force and

intimidation. The US government is utterly devoid of judgment. This is why polls show that the rest of the world regards the US government as the greatest threat to world peace. Today (August 8, 2014) Handelsblatt, Germany’s Wall Street Journal, wrote in a signed editorial by the publisher: “The American tendency to move from verbal escalation to military escalation– the isolation, demonization, and attacking of enemies–has not proven effective. The last successful major military action the US conducted was the Normandy landing [in 1944]. Everything else – Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan – was a clear failure. Moving NATO units towards the Polish border with Russia and thinking about arming Ukraine is a continuation of relying on military means in the absence of diplomacy.” Washington’s puppet states–all of Europe, Japan, Canada, and Australia– enable Washington’s unrivaled danger to the world by their support of Washington’s agenda of exercising hegemony over the entire world. The 100th anniversary of World War I is upon us. And the folly that caused this war is being repeated. WWI destroyed a civilized Western world, and it was the work of a mere handful of scheming people. The result was Lenin, the Soviet Union, Hitler, the rise of American Imperialism, Korea, Vietnam, the military interventions that created ISIS, and now resurrected conflict between Washington and Russia that President Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev had ended. As Stephen Starr has pointed out on my website, if merely 10% of the nuclear weapons in the US and Russian arsenals are used, life on earth terminates. Dear readers, ask yourselves, when has Washington told you anything that was not a lie? Washington’s lies have caused

millions of casualties. Do you want to be a casualty of Washington’s lies? Do you believe that Washington’s lies and propaganda about the Malaysian airliner and Ukraine are worth risking life on earth? Who is so gullible that he cannot recognize that Washington’s lies about Ukraine are like Washington’s lies about Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction, Iranian nukes, and Assad’s use of chemical weapons? What Have We Accomplished in Iraq? We have been at war with Iraq for 24 years, starting with Operations Desert Shield and Storm in 1990. Shortly after Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait that year, the propaganda machine began agitating for a US attack on Iraq. We all remember the appearance before Congress of a young Kuwaiti woman claiming that the Iraqis were ripping Kuwaiti babies from incubators. The woman turned out to be the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US and the story was false, but it was enough to turn US opposition in favor of an attack.

his past month, yet another US president – the fourth in a row – began bombing Iraq. He is also placing US troops on the ground despite promising not to do so. The second Iraq war in 2003 cost the US some two trillion dollars. According to estimates, more than one million deaths have occurred as a result of that war. Millions of tons of US bombs have fallen in Iraq almost steadily since 1991. What have we accomplished? Where are we now, 24 years later? We are back where we started, at war in Iraq! The US overthrew Saddam Hussein in the second Iraq war and put into place a puppet, Nouri al-Maliki. But after eight years, last week the US engineered a coup against Maliki to put in place yet another puppet. The US accused Maliki of misrule and divisiveness, but what really irritated the US government was his 2011 refusal to grant immunity to the thousands of US troops that Obama wanted to keep in the country. Early this year, a radical Islamist group, ISIS, began taking over territory in Iraq, starting with Fallujah. The organization had been operating

in Syria, strengthened by US support for the overthrow of the Syrian government. ISIS obtained a broad array of sophisticated US weapons in Syria, very often capturing them from other US-approved opposition groups. Some claim that lax screening criteria allowed some ISIS fighters to even participate in secret CIA training camps in Jordan and Turkey. This month, ISIS became the target of a new US bombing campaign in Iraq. The pretext for the latest US attack was the plight of a religious minority in the Kurdish region currently under ISIS attack. The US government and media warned that up to 100,000 from this group, including some 40,000 stranded on a mountain, could be slaughtered if the US did not intervene at once. Americans unfortunately once again fell for this propaganda and US bombs began to fall. However, it was determined that only about 2,000 were on the mountain and many of them had been living there for years! They didn’t want to be rescued! This is not to say that the plight of many of these people is not tragic, but why is it that the US government did not say a word when three out

of four Christians were forced out of Iraq during the ten year US occupation? Why has the US said nothing about the Christians slaughtered by its allies in Syria? What about all the Palestinians killed in Gaza or the ethnic Russians killed in east Ukraine? The humanitarian situation was cynically manipulated by the Obama administration — and echoed by the US media — to provide a reason for the president to attack Iraq again. This time it was about yet another regime change, breaking Kurdistan away from Iraq and protection of the rich oil reserves there, and acceptance of a new US military presence on the ground in the country. President Obama has started another war in Iraq and Congress is completely silent. No declaration, no authorization, not even a debate. After 24 years we are back where we started. Isn’t it about time to re-think this failed interventionist policy? Isn’t it time to stop trusting the government and its war propaganda? Isn’t it time to leave Iraq alone?

resident Barack Obama’s authorization of air strikes on ISIS targets in Iraq serves as an opportunity to remind ourselves which countries are bankrolling the deadly terror group the answer; Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey and Qatar – three of the United States’ biggest allies in the region. Last night Obama announced limited air strikes to slow the advance of ISIS fighters and help members of the Yazidi religious minority group who were forced to flee into a mountainous region in the north of Iraq to avoid slaughter. However, the administration has failed to put pressure on several Gulf states that are directly responsible for helping ISIS gain a foothold in Iraq in the first place. As the Daily Beast’s Josh Rogin documents, “The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), now threatening Baghdad, was funded for years by wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, three U.S. allies that have dual agendas in the war on terror.” In addition to funding itself through criminal activity and punitive taxes imposed on the local population on pain of death, ISIS relies on a steady stream of income from countries that have bankrolled extremist Islamists for years yet have faced zero backlash from successive White House adminis-

trations. Even evidence of direct Saudi involvement in 9/11 failed to generate any reconsideration of who America calls its friends. “Everybody knows the money is going through Kuwait and that it’s coming from the Arab Gulf,” said Andrew Tabler, senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. “Kuwait’s banking system and its money changers have long been a huge problem because they are a major conduit for money to extremist groups in Syria and now Iraq.” State backing for ISIS, now the wealthiest terror group in the world, prompted Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to point the finger directly at Saudi Arabia and Qatar during a France 24 television interview. “I accuse them of inciting and encouraging the terrorist movements. I accuse them of supporting them politically and in the media, of supporting them with money and by buying weapons for them,” said al-Maliki. In failing to call these countries to account for funding ISIS, the White House has deliberately placed the importance of isolating Iran and Syria over and above the stability of the entire region. The White House is also directly responsible for the spread of ISIS militants having backed other rebel groups in Syria which were once allied with

and then taken over by ISIS. Indeed, some evidence suggests that the U.S. even trained some of the Islamists who went on to join ISIS at a secret base in Jordan in 2012. Aaron Klein was told by Jordanian officials that, “dozens of future ISIS members were trained at the time as part of covert aid to the insurgents targeting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Syria.” Yet another U.S. ally – Turkey – also trained ISIS fighters at a location in the vicinity of Incirlik Air Base near Adana. According to a Shiite source close to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, the Obama administration turned a blind eye to the fact that Turkey was equipping and then sending fighters to Syria before they went on to Iraq. The source even went on to accuse the White House of being “an accomplice” in the ISIS takeover of major Iraqi cities. Whether or not the “humanitarian” air strikes on Iraq are really aimed at stopping the terror wrought by ISIS, or are merely part of a ploy to create a justification for a long-awaited attack on Syria, the White House itself, as well as some of America’s closest supposed allies, all share some of the blame in aiding the growth of ISIS in the region.

The ISIS Threat Will Be Used For Homeland Repression Obama Administration Will Exploit Domestic Peril To Vilify Political Opposition

ith ISIS militants now threatening to attack the United States, the huge domestic anti-terror apparatus that has been built over the last decade will inevitably be used as a tool of homeland repression not to eliminate ISIS terrorists but to target politically active Americans who are adversarial to the Obama administration. As we have exhaustively documented, domestic law enforcement in the United States has become increasingly militarized in recent years, with police departments across the country purchasing MRAP armored vehicles that were first used to fight against insurgents in Afghanistan and Iraq. A recent major ACLU report warns that such vehicles are part of a transformation into militarized policing where Americans are treated “like wartime enemies.” Indiana Police Sergeant Dan Downing also recently admitted that the militarization of domestic law enforcement was to deal not with ISIS militants but with returning veterans

who are now seen as a homegrown terror threat. Former Marine Corps Colonel Peter Martino, who was stationed in

Fa l l u j a h and trained Iraqi soldiers, warned last year that the Department of Homeland Security is working with law enforcement to build a “domestic army,” because the federal government is afraid of its own citizens. Martino was speaking at a council meeting concerning a decision to purchase a BearCat armored vehicle. The purchase of the vehicle was mired in controversy after the city’s Police Chief wrote in an application filing to the DHS that the vehicle was needed to deal with the “threat” posed by libertarians, sovereign citizen adherents, and Occupy activists in the region. The emergence of ISIS as a genuine threat not just to minority groups in Iraq and Syria but to Americans and the homeland itself, characterized by a recent Twitter campaign under the

ominous hashtag #AmessagefromISIStoUS, is a narrative that will be increasingly exploited by the Obama administration to justify further eviscerations of the Constitution as well as a tool to create jingoistic and simplistic appeals to patriotism which will in turn be deployed as a rhetorical weapon to demonize Obama’s most vocal political adversaries as radicals and extremists. Obama signaled his intent to take this course during an interview with New York Times columnist Tom Friedman, in which the president charged that his critics were in the grip of an “extremist ideology.” The sheer horror of the atrocities committed by ISIS will make perfect fodder for the mainstream media and the federal government to cite in justifying a militarized crackdown domestically. caused controversy by when it asserted in a Facebook post that nobody will complain about militarized police in America or examples of police brutality when the ISIS insurgent group “comes a calling.” While the Obama administration is increasingly portraying its political adversaries as radicals or extremists, the prospect of ISIS staging attacks inside the United States is simultaneously being pushed by neoconservatives who are eager for another excuse to expand the US military presence in the middle east. During an appearance on Fox News Sunday, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham invoked the image of “an American city in flames” as a result of ISIS launching a domestic terror attack, calling for a “sustained air campaign in Syria and Iraq” in order to halt the group’s advance. “His responsibility as president is to defend this nation. If he does not go on the offensive against ISIS, ISIL — whatever you want to call these guys — they are coming here,” asserted Graham. His sentiments were echoed by Senator John McCain

epublican Senator Lindsey Graham, the man who just months ago warned that another 9/11 is now inevitable, said that an American city will be attacked by terrorists unless Obama launches a full scale war in Iraq. “I think of an American city in flames because of the terrorists’ ability to operate in Syria and Iraq,” Graham told Fox News host Chris Wallace. “Mr. President, you have never once spoke directly to the America people about the threat we face from being attacked from Syria, now Iraq. What is your strategy to stop these people from attacking the homeland?” Graham, a perpetual war hawk, added. The Senator advised that the Obama administration should begin a “sustained air campaign in Syria and Iraq” in order to spare Americans from terrorist attacks at home. “We need to go on offense. There is no force within the US or the Middle East that can neutralize or destroy ISIS without at least American air power.” Graham said. When Wallace asked Graham “Are you saying we should go back to war in Iraq?”, the Senator replied “I’m saying that Iraq and Syria combined represent a direct threat to our homeland.” “His responsibility as president is to

While intelligence heads have expressed concern over the situations in Iraq and Syria, no one has said that a terrorist attack on America is imminent. As an establishment neocon, Graham is one of the primary promoters of the contrived war on terror. It’s his job to push the idea that there is a never-ending terrorist threat to the US. He sides with the military-industrial complex and the political establishment on virtually every issue, from warmongering, to immigration, to eviscerating the bill of rights. He is accused by many of being a RINO, a Republican in name only, constantly

siding with the Democratic Party on key issues despite being a Republican. Graham was joined in his campaign to start another US led war in Iraq by fellow neocons John McCain and Peter King. McCain warned on CNN that there are 100 Americans fighting alongside ISIS in Syria and Iraq and that they will attempt to attack America in the future. King took to NBC, saying that the US should do “whatever we have to do” to stop the Islamic militant group, including arming Kurdish fighters in Northern Iraq. When asked if US ground troops should be deployed in Iraq, King replied “we should take nothing off the table.”

There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.” The effort to regulate and outlaw military-grade firearms picked up considerable steam following 9/11. n order to get it, you have to be in direct contact with blood and other body fluids from an infected person or animal. Aerosol transmission is not possible. The possibility of widespread transmission is extremely low due to a high fatality rate and the remote areas where infections usually occur. According to some members of the medical establishment and the corporate media, the spread of the disease is out of control in the African nations of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. A chart posted on Daily Mail claims 1,201 people in those countries tested positive for the disease and 672 have died this year. The Daily Mail says Ebola is “as infectious as flu,” a claim that is patently untrue. As Jon Rappoport told Alex Jones, the death rate from Ebola is nearly infinitesimal when compared to seasonal flu, which kills between three and five million people every year. Like previous “pandemic” diseases like Swine Flu and West Nile, Ebola is being exploited and exaggerated as part of a psychological operation by government. Disease, natural disaster, and manmade crises are routinely exploited

by government as pretexts to enlarge and extend its power and reach. The state and its propaganda media thrive on one manufactured crisis after another as part of a systematic effort to ramp up the police state. The goal is not protection of the people. It is an all-encompassing surveillance state with a militarized component designed not to save us from evil terrorists or scary diseases, but control the population and maintain through fear and violence its political monopoly. A fear-mongered Ebola – far less threatening to the average American than a stay at the hospital or driving a car – will be used to impose new restrictions on the movement of citizens. The CDC website reveals what the government plans to do in the event the difficult to spread disease arrives in America – enforce isolation, quarantine, and government decree enforced at gunpoint. “In addition to serving as medical functions, isolation and quarantine also are ‘police power’ functions, derived from the right of the state to take action affecting individuals for the benefit of society,” the CDC states.

Obama Signs Executive Order to Allow Detention of Americans With ‘Respiratory Illnesses’ AMENDMENT COMES IN WAKE OF EBOLA SCARE

s the Ebola outbreak continues to cause concern, President Barack Obama has signed an amendment to an executive order that would allow him to mandate the apprehension and detention of Americans who merely show signs of “respiratory illness.” The executive order, titled Revised List of Quarantinable Communicable Diseases, amends executive order 13295, passed by George W. Bush in April 2003, which allows for the, “apprehension, detention, or conditional release of individuals to prevent the introduction, transmission, or spread of suspected communicable diseases.” The amendment signed by Obama replaces subsection (b) of the original Bush executive order which referred only to SARS. Obama’s amendment allows for the detention of Americans who display, “Severe acute respiratory syndromes, which are diseases that are associated with fever and signs and symptoms of

pneumonia or other respiratory illness, are capable of being transmitted from person to person, and that either are causing, or have the potential to cause, a pandemic, or, upon infection, are highly likely to cause mortality or serious morbidity if not properly controlled.” Although Ebola was listed on the original executive order signed by Bush, Obama’s amendment ensures that Americans who merely show signs of respiratory illness, with the exception of influenza, can be forcibly detained by medical authorities. Although the quarantining of people suspected of being infected with the Ebola virus seems like a perfectly logical move, the actual preconditions for this to happen aren’t restricted to just those suffering from the disease. As we have highlighted, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has measures in place for dealing with an outbreak of a communicable disease which allow for the quarantine of “well

persons” who “do not show symptoms” of the disease. In addition, under the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act, public health authorities and governors would be given expanded police powers to seize control of communications devices, public and private property, as well as a host of other draconian measures in the event of a public health emergency. When the legislation was introduced, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons warned that it “could turn governors into dictators.” Emory University Hospital in Atlanta treated a patient infected with Ebola. A hospital in Germany also accepted an infected patient earlier as well. Some critics have raised concerns about the risk of deliberately importing infected individuals into the west.

What You Need to Do to Survive Ebola BEFORE the Panic Starts The Ebola Virus Is Spreading And No One In Any Position Of Authority Is Releasing Information To The Public About How Serious Of A Contagion This Is

t was not too long ago that the CDC and mainstream media claimed it wouldn’t make it to US shores, but as of this morning, reports began flowing in from all over the country from hospitals that have admitted patients who recently traveled to Africa and are showing possible symptoms of the deadly virus. In Nigeria, where there have only been a couple of deaths reported officially, the medical community has formally requested help in the form of experimental serums from the United States, suggesting things are much worse there than are being reported. Moreover, the World Health Organization reports an explosion in confirmed cases this month. An analysis of confirmed cases from Joshua Krause at The Daily Sheeple suggests that, while the virus almost died out back in April, it is now back with a vengeance and growing at a seemingly exponential rate. What’s most bizarre and frustrating about all of this is that neither the US government or the Centers for Disease Control have provided any actionable information or advice to the American public. They maintain that they have the facilities to stop any such outbreak and continue to tout the narrative that there is nothing to fear, because they have it all under control. Should even one single case pop up in a random US city, that narrative will fall apart instantly. If someone in Georgia, Ohio, New York or any other state checked themselves into a hospital and are found to be infected with Ebola it will prove without a shadow of a doubt

that all CDC containment efforts have failed. In such an instance where Ebola is found to be in the “wild” anywhere in the continental United States you can be certain that panic will follow. Take a look at the following photo. It was taken in Toledo about an hour after the city announced that their water supply had been contaminated with toxins: Notice how every drop of pure H2O has been removed from the shelves. Imagine for a moment what grocery store shelves, pharmacies and hardware supply stores are going to look like within 12 hours of an Ebola infection or outbreak being announced on US soil. Things will happen fast. Now, for all we know the CDC’s containment efforts are successful, and perhaps Ebola will be stopped in its tracks. But being naturally skeptical of our government’s abilities to mitigate such a virus, especially given the lack of any actual information from the CDC or government, we must assume that Ebola will eventually start popping up in the United States. When it does, the CDC and Homeland Security will likely announce a number of precautions that we need to take. Those precautions are going to include supply lists and strategies. Guess what 300 million Americans are going to do all at once when those supply lists and recommendation are announced? ( Look no further than the DHS Fukushima radiation announcement and how it affected the supply and price of potassium iodide) Here’s the bottom line: If you don’t have your supplies before

emergency announcements hit the airwaves, then plan on going without. If you want to take action ahead of millions of panicked Americans, then we urge you to follow the recommendations below. They come from informed sources and will be very similar to what the government will recommend in the event of an Ebola outbreak or pandemic emergency. Emergency services professional Tess Pennington, author of The Prepper’s Blueprint, explains that the government will have specific protocols to follow on local, state and federal levels, and they’ll include widespread shutdowns: Understanding that our lives will change drastically if the population is faced with a pandemic and being prepared for this can help you make better choices toward the well being of your family. Some changes could be: -Challenges or shut downs of business commerce -Breakdown of our basic infrastructure: communications, mass transportation, supply chains -Payroll service interruptions -Staffing shortages in hospitals and medical clinics -Interruptions in public facilities – Schools, workplaces may close, and public gatherings such as sporting events or worship services may close temporarily -Government mandated voluntary or involuntary home quarantine Essentially, once this happens the whole system could potentially go into lockdown The Organic Prepper and author of The Pantry Primer says that in this environment you must take the no one goes out, no one comes in approach in order to be absolutely certain no one in your household is exposed.

I know this sounds harsh, but there are to be no exceptions. If you make exceptions, you might as well go wrestle with runny-nosed strangers at the local WalMart and then come home and hug your children, because it’s the same thing. Once you have gone into lockdown mode, that means that the supplies you have on hand are the supplies you have to see you through. You can’t run out to the store and get something you’ve forgotten. That means if a family member shows up, they have to go into quarantine for at least four weeks, during which time they are not allowed access to the home or family, nor are they allowed to go out in public. Set up an area on your property that is far from your home for them to hang out for their month of quarantine. If at the end of the month they are presenting no symptoms, then they can come in. It sadly means that you may be forced to turn someone away if they are ill, because to help them means to risk your family. Now is the time to plan with your preparedness group how you intend to handle the situation. Will you shelter together, in the same location, and reserve a secondary location to retreat to if the situation worsens further or if someone becomes ill? Will you shelter separately because of the nature of the emergency? Decide together on what event and proximity will trigger you to go into lockdown mode. Make your plan and stick to it, regardless of pressure from those who think you are over-reacting, the school that your children have stopped attending, and any other external influences. If you’ve decided that there is a great enough risk that you need to go into lockdown, you must adhere to your plan.

Safety goggles with an elastic band to vensure a snug fit (Pyramex V2G Safety Eyewear, Clear Anti-Fog Lens With Black Strap/Temples) Antibacterial cleaners such as disposable wipes, bleach, and spray cleaners- Antibacterial hand sanitizer (Purell Pump Bottle, Original, 8 Ounce (Pack of 12) Those items should help with prevention, especially if you take the advice of locking down and staying home. However, we must assume that some of us, for whatever reason, will still have to make our way out into public. And with that assumption, we must also expect the absolute worst case scenario – an infection or suspected infection within in our own ranks. If you must venture outside then take a look at what medical personnel are sporting in highly contagious environments: If you’re forced to exit your home, you’re going to want to be fully protected, and that includes covering your hands, eyes, nose, and mouth. In addition to the N-95 respirator masks mentioned above, you may also consider upgrading to the more expensive N-100 respirators recommended by the World Health Organization. Or, go with a full facemask. Insofar as your preparedness efforts are concerned, you may also be able to kill two birds with one stone here and go with a full face mask that includes NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) protection like the US-made NATO SGE 400/3 Military Gas Mask. If going with such a mask, be sure to include some NBC filters. For protection inside of your home, Tess Pennington of Ready Nutrition recommends building a sick room that can

be used to isolate suspected infections or even to be used as a quarantine/observation area for friends and family who may be coming to your home as part of your group lockdown plan. Building a sick room may include supplies like: Heavy Duty Plastic Sheeting to go over doors, windows or other potential airborne entry points (4 millimeter home coverall) Duct tape Portable toilet if one is not attached directly to the sick room (Luggable Loo) Disposable trash and toilet bags *Note: Waste must be disposed of properly because it may be contaminated* The takeaway here is this: You cannot depend on the government to give you accurate information until it is too late. Moreover, emergency services personnel will be overwhelmed and you will have only yourself and those in your lockdown group to depend on. Plan on no outside help. That means you need to have food, water, and other supplies on hand. Additionally, if we have a widespread emergency that brings down the commerce system you may need to head out to barter and trade with others for necessary supplies that may have been overlooked. shocking video shows a New Jersey cop responding to a complaint about corruption by asserting that law enforcement officers no longer need to follow the Constitution because it has already been decimated by President Obama. Seeking to file a complaint about the Helmetta Regional Animal Shelter, Steve Wronko visited the Helmetta Police Department to air his grievances about the shelter falling prey to nepotism and corruption as a result of Helmetta Mayor Nancy Martin appointing her son Brandon Metz to head up the facility. “I’ve made objections about what’s going on at the shelter over there,” Wronko tells the police officer, adding, “My first and fourth amendment rights were violated, my civil rights were violated.” “Obama just decimated the freakin’ Constitution, so I don’t give a damn. If he doesn’t follow the Constitution, we don’t have to,” responds the cop, brazenly violating the oath he swore to uphold the Constitution. The comment is self-evidently shocking, but it also provides an insight as to how corruption from the very top reaches all the way down to the bottom, providing law enforcement with a

twisted form of justification for their unconstitutional activities. At the end of the video, other police officers arrive to kick Wronko out of the building, with the cop who doesn’t give a “damn” about constitutional rights stating, “Either you get out or you’re gonna get locked up.” “Maybe this instance, captured on film for the whole world to see, will serve as a wake up call to those who may still be asleep,” writes Matt Agorist. “Please share this so that it can help others to see the leviathan for what it is, a gang of thieves writ large.” The only question that remains is if police officers feel they no longer need to follow the Constitution, should Americans be expected to obey the law?

Despite initially being the subject of an internal affairs investigation, Recine offered his resignation on Thursday morning, likely as a result of the heated

online response. Police Director Robert Manney immediately accepted Recine’s resignation, labeling his behavior an “embarrassment,” “uncalled for” and “unprofessional.” It is not clear whether Recine will also step down from the Board of Fire Commissioners of District 2 in Piscataway, which is an elected position. However, Manney defended Recine and other officers’ actions in ejecting Wronko for taking pictures inside the borough’s Municipal Building. “He was in our building and he got some of our employees upset,” said Manney. “They were worried because they’ve seen him before lurking around. In my opinion he was looking for an issue.” Wronko subsequently uploaded a full version of the encounter with Recine and the other officers. During the clip, Recine suggests that Wronko could be a terrorist with a bomb simply because he is filming inside of a public building. “Recine worked as a part-time special police officer, earning an hourly wage while collecting a $79,000 annual pension for his retirement as a police officer from Franklin in 2006,” reports MyCentralJersey.com.

uring a fundraiser in Seattle, President Barack Obama called for a “new order” based around a collectivized system in order to quell people’s concerns about geopolitical strife and the economy. “People are anxious. Now, some of that has to do with some big challenges overseas,” said Obama, adding, “But whether people see what’s happening in Ukraine, and Russia’s aggression towards its neighbors in the manner in which it’s financing and arming separatists; to what’s happened in Syria … to the failure in Iraq for Sunni and Shia and Kurd to compromise … to what’s happening in Israel and Gaza….” “Part of people’s concern is just the sense that around the world the old order isn’t holding and we’re not quite yet to where we need to be in terms of a new order that’s based on a different set of principles, that’s based on a sense of common humanity, that’s based on economies that work for all people. … But here in the United States, what people are also concerned about is the fact that although the economy has done well in the aggregate, for the average person it feels as if incomes, wages just haven’t gone up; that people, no matter how hard they work, they feel stuck.”

In a geopolitical context, Obama’s call for a “new order” really doesn’t sound any different from the old unipolar world order that the United States has represented since the end of the Cold War, which is now being challenged by the rise of the BRICS countries. Developments over the course of the past year have made it clear that the United States no longer considers Russia to be part of this “new order” as a result of its resistance to NATO encirclement. In terms of the economy, Obama’s insistence on “economies that work for all people” based on “common humanity” is in direct contradiction to his actual policies, which have almost exclusively served to help Wall Street fat cats while the average American sees their household income decline year after year when adjusted for inflation. This is by no means the first time that Obama has called for a new world order. During a 2010 West Point speech, the President encouraged the development of a new “international order” to help secure America’s interests. Obama also urged Europeans and Americans to embrace the idea of “global citizenship” during a 2012 Berlin speech. Vice-President Joe Biden has also repeatedly called for a “new world order.”

‘Kill Switch’ Smart Phone Bill Passes In California WRITTEN BY STEVE WATSON

egislation introduced to the Californian Senate earlier this year mandating ‘kill switches’ on all smart phones was signed into law by Gov. Jerry Brown on Aug. 25. This means it will be against the law for any supplier or carrier in the state to sell a mobile phone that is not fitted with the technology. Manufacturers will have until July 1, 2015 to ensure that all their phones are equipped with the means to “render the essential features of the smartphone inoperable when not in the possession of the authorized user.” The legislation, introduced in February, passed on a vote of 53-20. Although the owner would have the option to disable the function under the language of the bill, many will likely believe it is essential, as users will be prompted to enable the feature upon initial setup of the device. The bill also states that manufacturers must fit technology that will prevent phones from being re-activated on any network without the owner’s approval. Phones must also be fitted with the ability to be reactivated, should they be returned to the rightful owner. Under the legislation, the State will levy penalties of between $500 and $2,500 on anyone

discovered to be selling stolen phones. While police departments and city officials have expressed support for the legislation, some manufacturers and rights groups have issued warnings regarding the move. They suggest that while the ‘kill switch’ would ostensibly be included to discourage theft, it could also be “exploited by malicious actors” as the Electronic Frontier Foundation explained in a letter written in June. It is not difficult to envisage a scenario where authorities could hijack the technology to shut down communications in a sensitive area in order to limit photo and streaming video coverage, such as at a demonstration or at the scene of unfolding police brutality. Infowars has previously reported on a Google patent for a system that would alert law enforcement authorities if a number of photos were taken in one specific location by smartphone users, raising questions as to what level of remote access companies like Google should have to people’s personal devices. Back in 2012, Apple also filed a patent allowing it to wirelessly disable cameras on iPhones by “forcing certain electronic devices to enter “sleep mode” when entering a sensitive area.” The patent was registered in antici-

pation of giving police or government the power to impose a “blackout” on all communications during certain times because cellphones can “annoy, frustrate, and even threaten people in sensitive venues.” The Californian bill is also likely to become a de facto national law, not only because it is the largest state in the US, but also because phone manufacturers are unlikely to spend more money tailoring just portions of their products to different states. It is much more likely that ALL phones will be fitted with the technology, in preparation for the technology becoming mandated elsewhere. Indeed, in June, it was reported that Google and Microsoft have agreed to include kill switches in all new Android and Windows phones. “Google, based in Mountain View, California, said in a statement today it will add a “factory reset protection solution” to its next version of Android,” reported Bloomberg. “Microsoft’s Vice President for U.S. Government Affairs Fred Humphries said the Redmond, Washington-based company will offer new theft-deterrence mechanisms in an update for phones running its software, including those made by Nokia Oyj.” The technology is also set to be implemented into computers and laptops. with

NSA linked corporation IBM heading up the move. The idea of companies, government officials and police having access to a “kill switch” with no opt out process takes power away from the individual and leaves the door ajar for so called authorities to exploit such technology to target anything they perceive as dissent. In a post-Snowden era, the idea of such entities having remote access to computers and mobile phones, which are used in every aspect of everyday life, represents a potential Pandora’s Box of privacy violation.

Verizon Wireless has launched a rewards program this summer for subscribers who consent to having their everyday movements tracked.

he program, called Smart Rewards, offers gift cards and travel deals to subscribers who surrender their web surfing, app usage and location data in exchange for targeted advertisements based on that personal information through the Verizon Selects tracking program. “To make marketing messages more relevant, Verizon will analyze the information described above to identify you as part of a group of people a marketer is trying to reach,” the terms and conditions for Verizon Selects state. The wireless company introduced Verizon Selects back in 2012 but has now created the Smart Rewards program to encourage more subscribers to enroll. Jeffrey Nelson, Verizon’s vice president of wireless marketing, told the AP that the company expects Smart Rewards to help with “customer retention,” which is an odd statement considering that Verizon lost customers

last year after The Guardian revealed that the company gave the National Security Agency unfettered access to its subscribers’ phone records, including the time and duration of phone calls. “In other words, if you are a Verizon customer, your detailed phone records secretly have been handed over – and will continue to be handed over – to NSA agents,” reported Joe Wolverton, II of The New American. But instead of backing away from data collection, Verizon is now publicly announcing that it intends to do more, and although Google also uses personal data for targeted advertisements, Verizon is likely the first to publicly use location data from cell phone towers to send local ads to users based on their vicinity. And the wireless company also followed Google’s lead when it filed a patent for a TV box back in 2012 that can detect ambient noise in people’s homes, such as talking, exercising, fighting and cleaning, which are then

used to display targeted advertisements. So, for example, if Verizon’s TV box senses a vacuum cleaner running in the background, it may display ads for carpet freshener or vacuum bags. “The patent also notes that users will have the ability to connect smart phones and tablets to the box, increasing the range and sensitivity of the monitoring device,” reported Steve Watson. “Americans buying the product would not only be literally inviting Big Brother to come into their homes, but asking him to walk about inside it with them.” And with the latest Smart Rewards program, it doesn’t appear that Verizon will step away from Big Brother anytime soon.

Document: Army Preparing to Use Lethal Force Against “Unarmed Civilians” During “Full Scale Riots” in U.S.

document released by the U.S. Army details preparations for “full scale riots” within the United States during which troops may be forced to engage in a “lethal response” to deal with unruly crowds of demonstrators. The appearance of the document during the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, with the National Guard even being called in to deal with the disorder, is an ominous coincidence. The 132-page document, titled U.S. Army Techniques Publication 3-39.33: Civil Disturbances (PDF), was written in April 2014 and recently obtained by Public Intelligence. The document makes it clear that the techniques detailed therein are to be applied both outside and inside the “continental United States (CONUS)” in the event of “unruly and violent crowds” where it is “necessary to quell riots and restore public order.” The training manual outlines scenarios under which, “Civil unrest may range from simple, nonviolent protests that address specific issues, to events that turn into full-scale riots.” The most shocking aspect of the document is the fact that it describes the deployment of a “lethal response” directed against “unarmed civilians,” including “sniper response” and “small arms direct fire.” Under the heading “sniper response,” the document states, “Ensure that target leaders or troublemakers are targeted,” in addition to a passage which states, “Exploit the psycholog-

ical effect of an attack.” Under the heading “small arms direct fire,” the manual states, “Escalate gradually, starting with a small caliber, single round and work up to a large caliber, automatic.” Another graphic which depicts “escalation of trauma” directs soldiers how to use “riot batons” in order to cause the necessary level of injury or death to the subject. “Deadly force final target areas” include the back of the neck, the solar plexus, the neck, the spine and the head. In light of events in Ferguson, where a predominantly black community has faced off with militarized police, it’s interesting to note that the manual makes reference to civil unrest that can arise out of “ethnic hatred” and, “Community unrest (that) results in urban conflicts that arise from highly emotional social and economic issues.” The document also mentions how rioters target “retail stores,” as happened during the looting in Ferguson. “Significant ethnic differences in a community can create an atmosphere of distrust, even hatred…… (and) can cause an eruption of civil disorder that can lead to full riots,” states the document. Although the document makes reference to the Constitutional rights of American citizens it goes on to stress that such protections are null and void under a state of emergency, asserting that Posse Comitatus, which is supposed to limit the power of the federal government to use military personnel

domestically, “does not apply” under declared “emergency authority” or “When the need for the protection of federal property or federal functions exists.” It is important to stress that this training manual applies to U.S. Army operations in foreign countries as well as domestically on U.S. soil. Indeed, section 2-18 of the document goes into detail about domestic protests such as the 1999 anti-WTO demonstration in Seattle. The emergence of the document as National Guard troops descended on Ferguson, Missouri to deal with looting and civil unrest follows a report we published just a few weeks before the outbreak of the Ferguson riots which documented how National Guard troops were training to detain unruly African-American citizens in prison camps before handing them over to police. In a special video report, Alex Jones documented how the story was part of wider preparations by the government for domestic disorder that have been ongoing for years. We have reported previously on similar documents that outline how the U.S. Army would be forced to resort to lethal measures in order to deal with unruly Americans during times of emergency within the United States. In 2012 we covered FM 3-39.40 Internment and Resettlement Operations, a U.S. Army manual that describes how political activists in prison camps will be indoctrinated by specially assigned psychological oper-

ations officers. The document makes numerous references to how government agencies like the DHS, ICE and FEMA will be involved in the domestic internment of U.S. citizens during “civil support operations.” A second US Army Military Police manual that was leaked months later also outlined how military assets would be used domestically to quell riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans on U.S. soil during mass civil unrest. U.S. troops and National Guard also worked with local police to incarcerate Americans in detention camps during drills Alex Jones covered in 1999 in Oakland, California. A report produced in 2008 by the U.S. Army War College’s Strategic Institute warned that the United States may experience massive civil unrest in the wake of a series of crises which it termed “strategic shock.” “Widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security,” stated the report, authored by [Ret.] Lt. Col. Nathan Freir, adding that the military may be needed to quell “purposeful domestic resistance”. Rex 84, short for Readiness Exercise 1984, was established under the pretext of a “mass exodus” of illegal aliens crossing the Mexican/US border. During the Iran-Contra hearings in 1987, however, it was revealed that the program was a secretive “scenario and drill” developed by the federal government to suspend the Constitution, declare martial law, assign military commanders to take over state and local governments, and detain large numbers of American citizens determined by the government to be “national security threats.”

Ambulance Workers Blow Whistle on Cops Who Beat Shackled, Mentally Ill Man

ocuments obtained by the New York Daily News reveal how the EMTs had to physically stop four officers as they repeatedly punched the man in the face on July 20. According to reports filed by the EMTs, the incident began shortly after the pair arrived at a police station to transport the man to a nearby hospital. The man, who was said to be combative, had his hands and feet shackled to a stretcher after leaving his cell. “Pt. came out of the cell in cuffs. Pt. became combative with PD and (was) put on our stretcher,” one EMT wrote. That is when the restrained man began swearing and spitting at a group of police with the Emergency Service Unit, causing an officer to punch him in the face multiple times before slamming him to the ground. “Pt. was struck in the face by an officer … pt. spit in the face of an officer, whereupon the officer punched the pt. in the face multiple times,” the report stated. The second EMT confirmed the account, noting that the man had

“sustained injuries” to the face and head. After being put back on the stretcher, the man proceeded to spit once more. Instead of grabbing a spit mask, two other officers joined the first in unleashing a barrage of punches on the man’s face, causing the EMTs to become concerned enough to physically intervene. “Three cops began to punch the patient in the face, EMS (had) to get in the middle of it to intervene. Pt’s. wounds and injuries cleaned in the (ambulance),” the report said. An investigation by the Internal Affairs Bureau is currently underway according to a spokesman with the New York Police Department. The EMTs, who clearly did their job to protect the health and well-being of their patient, are reportedly still serving the public. The incident comes only weeks after a New York police officer choked an asthmatic man to death for allegedly selling untaxed cigarettes. The responding EMTs and paramedics were all suspended after failing to provide support to the man as he laid motionless on the concrete.

Sheriff’s Department: Ferguson SWAT Teams Aided Journalists Riot Police In Ferguson, Mo., Did Not Attack Journalists, Nor Confiscate Camera Equipment As Reported, But Rather They “Assisted” Reporters And Made Efforts To Move “Media Personnel To A Safer Area,” According To A Statement Put Out By The St. Charles County Sheriff’s Dept.

n Thursday, August 14th, images and video of police firing rubber bullets, tear gas canisters and flash bang grenades at protesters and journalists prompted outcries that Ferguson SWAT teams were engaged in suppression of the First Amendment. But despite footage and multiple eyewitness accounts detailing how cops pointed weapons at and literally shot journalists, tore down news crews’ camera equipment and arrested reporters in nearby restaurants, police insist they were merely helping the media “with their consent,” and that reporters “thanked their officers.” “In fact, last night the SWAT Team officers were assisting the media in moving their camera equipment and media personnel to a safer area with their consent so that they could continue to cover the event,” a press release from the sheriff’s department states, according to multiple sources. Furthermore, the sheriff’s department insisted that Al Jazeera journalists, filmed fleeing from their expensive camera equipment, were actually escorted into an armored vehicle, and that photos actually showed riot police helping them by dismantling their equipment.

The statement ludicrously went on to claim that the sheriff’s department “supports the freedom of the press,” and that it did not in any way attempt “to prevent media coverage.” Here’s more of the statement from Fox2Now: On Wednesday, August 13th, video footage was taken of St. Charles County SWAT officers handling media camera equipment. The position of the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department is that the media has the right to cover these events and supports the freedom of the press, and the SWAT Team has not been any part of attempting to prevent media coverage. The department’s attempts to smooth over the situation is humorous given the abundance of evidence showing police did in fact attack journalists. Infowars reporters Josh Owens, Jakari Jackson and Joe Biggs can all attest that police did not have anyone’s First Amendment in mind and were definitely not there to “assist” them, as the statement claims. The blatant disconnect between the department’s statement and what actually took place is reminiscent of scenes out of Tim Burton’s film Mars Attacks!, in which Martians chased and slaughtered civilians, all while professing “We come in peace,” and “Don’t run, we are your friends.”

Ferguson Police AWOL For Looting, Out in Force to Crush First Amendment, Arrest Journalists

hile police in Ferguson, Missouri were largely AWOL during looting that struck the town on Sunday, they were out in force to strangle the First Amendment by pointing sniper rifles at protesters and arresting journalists. With authorities attempting to enforce an arbitrary night time ban on protests, peaceful demonstrators gathered but were met with rubber bullets, tear gas and intimidation tactics that wouldn’t have looked out of place in Tahir Square. The unrest was sparked as a result of the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown on August 9th, who eyewitnesses said was unarmed and offered no resistance. While criminal opportunists who came in from out of town to loot local stores the next day were left alone, police made sure that journalists attempting to document the crackdown were targeted. The Washington Post’s Wesley Lowery was arrested, leading the newspaper to slam an “illegal assault on the freedom of the press to cover the news.” The Huffington Post’s Ryan J Reilly was also handcuffed as he was charging his phone in a local McDonalds. According to Reilly, cops arrested him because he photographed them and didn’t pack his bag quickly

enough. The Huffington Post said the arrest was an example of “militant aggression.” Even the Ferguson Police Chief was baffled by the arrests. When Chief Thomas Jackson found out about the incident, his stunned response was, “Oh God.” Infowars reporter Joe Biggs was also shot in the kidneys by a rubber bullet as police seemed to be deliberately targeting journalists. “I got shot in the kidneys with one of those rubber rounds and had two gas canisters come right at me,” Biggs reported. “When I got up, I couldn’t see so I went in one direction and lost [Infowars reporter] Jakari Jackson and [Infowars cameraman] Josh Owens.” Owens made it inside of a car with a reporter from Vice News but police pinned down their vehicle and shot flash bangs and tear gas at them. Later in the evening, police suddenly announced “the peaceful assembly is no longer peaceful” after one individual threw a bottle in the direction of the police line, prompting authorities to order a curfew under which all the protesters were told to go back to their homes or be arrested. Not long after, the demonstrators on West Florissant Ave. were assaulted. “We all got split up when a SWAT Team approached us and started throwing flash bangs and shooting tear gas and all kinds of [so-called]

non-lethal rounds at us,” Biggs said, who was dropped to his knees by the round that hit him. “That took my breath away but when I was finally able to take a breath, I took in a nice helping of tear gas.” “They are shutting down the entire road and there’s word that they are looking specifically for journalists to arrest them,” Biggs revealed. “Why? Because they don’t want the truth about what’s going on to come out.” Police then set off flash bombs and tear gas in an attempt to disperse the remaining protesters. In a sign that the protesters were apolitical, they complained that both Al Sharpton and President Barack Obama “didn’t do sh*t for us.” The fact that domestic law enforcement authorities have openly declared the American people to be the new enemy and are now arming themselves with equipment and vehicles formerly used to hunt insurgents in Afghanistan and Iraq ensures the kind of scenes witnessed in Ferguson will become more prevalent throughout the country. By becoming increasingly militarized and brutal in its treatment of the American people, the state is not only preparing for but actually provoking civil unrest, the outcome of which can only be negative for both the general public and law enforcement officers.

The Military Occupation Of Ferguson, Missouri Is Just A Preview Of What Is Coming To America

et’s be honest – Ferguson, Missouri is under military occupation right now, and the entire world is watching in horror as militarized police fire tear gas and rubber bullets at unarmed protesters. Yes, the rioting and looting in Ferguson needed to be stopped. If order had not been restored, more stores and businesses would have been destroyed. However, there is no excuse for the brutal tactics that were employed. At one point, police snipers were even using laser scopes to target protesters that were obviously unarmed. Sadly, this is just a preview of what is coming to America in the years ahead. As the economy falls apart and people become even more angry and even more frustrated, there will be a lot more incidents of civil unrest like we have just witnessed in Ferguson. And in response, the federal government and our overly militarized police will seek to crush those uprisings with overwhelming force. How is it possible that our once very peaceful nation has fallen apart so dramatically? What we just watched happen in Ferguson was truly bizarre. If you didn’t know any better, you might have thought that you were looking at

images from a really bad post-apocalyptic disaster movie. The following is how the New Yorker described the scene… As the images and stories from Ferguson, Missouri, joined the news churn, many who registered their thoughts via social media noted that what they were seeing—policemen with dogs and AR-15 assault rifles standing in a Stygian, bluelit cloud of tear gas; crowds of protesters

with their hands in the air, screaming “Hands up, don’t shoot”; members of the press being removed from the scene—did not look like America. And I will certainly agree with that. It did not look like America. At least not the America that I grew up in. Former Seattle Police Chief: Ferguson Military Gear An ‘Act of Provocation’

n an interview with Vox, Norman Stamper, a 34 year law enforcement veteran who oversaw the 1999 WTO protests in Seattle, said Ferguson police were not utilizing much needed defusing techniques. “If they’re out there in military gear from the beginning that’s an act of provocation,” Stamper said. “We just simply need to use defusing techniques.” Stamper said that his heavy handed response to the WTO riots in Seattle was a major mistake, one he sees Ferguson police currently repeating. “What happened in Seattle in 1999

was a police overreaction, which I presided over. It was the worst mistake of my career,” Stamper said. “We used chemical agents, a euphemism for tear gas, against nonviolent and essentially nonthreatening protesters.” “The natural consequence of which are that we were the catalyst for heightened tension and conflict rather than peacekeepers, or for that matter even peacemakers. It’s a lesson, unfortunately, that American law enforcement in general has not learned.” The Ferguson Police Department’s military hardware, which includes

One eye witnesses speaking with Infowars’ reporter Joe Biggs explained how police completely ignored looters to instead go after peaceful protesters. While at its time the WTO riots were seen as a major attack against the First Amendment, Ferguson police have set a disturbing precedent by attacking and censoring journalists. Incredibly, a voice recording sent over a police loudspeaker ordered journalists to turn off their video before police began firing tear gas and rubber bullets. Shocking video also revealed how police dismantled a news team’s video equipment after firing tear gas at their feet. TSA Letter Admits Illegals Allowed To Fly Without ID

espite repeatedly insisting that it was not allowing illegal aliens to fly without ID, the TSA admits in a letter to Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-TX) that a ‘notice to appear’ form alone is sufficient documentation for an individual to board an airliner. In July, at the height of the furore over the border situation, it emerged that the federal agency was allowing undocumented immigrants to fly without ID. Despite numerous TSA denials that this was the case, the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) obtained a statement from the Border Patrol union which revealed that the TSA had reversed the policy in the aftermath of the story going public. Despite the release of the statement, the TSA continued to insist that there was no policy which allowed people to board airlines without ID. On July 11, TSA spokesperson Ross Feinstein tweeted, “You can’t fly by just showing a “Notice to Appear.” The TSA again denied the story on July 17, telling KGBT, “These

reports are false. A notice to appear is not an acceptable form of I.D. at the T.S.A checkpoint.” Five days later, the federal agency made the same denial to Fox News’ Todd Starnes. However, all these denials are completely contradicted by the TSA’s August 7 letter to Rep. Marchant, which states that a ‘notice to appear’ form can be used as the only form of ID to pass through airport security. From the letter; “If a passenger can only present a Form I-862, TSA will attempt to establish the passenger’s identity through DHS partner Components, such as U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). If other DHS Components are able to provide corroborating information (such as that the I-862 was issued to an individual with the name provided) to permit TSA to verify an individual’s identity when taken together with all other information available, the passenger is permitted into the screening checkpoint to undergo screening.” As Kristinn Taylor points out,

the I-862 notice does not represent a secure form of identification since the name that appears on the form is whatever the illegal immigrant chose to tell border authorities and is not linked with any valid form of ID. “TSA gave the public a false impression,” writes Taylor. “What TSA is saying is that the Notice to Appear is accepted when verified by ICE. But the verification is that a slip of paper was issued by ICE to an illegal alien whose identity cannot be verified by ICE. The illegal alien can give any name they want to ICE and be given a Notice to Appear. They themselves can be an undocumented terrorist or they can give or sell the I-862 form to a drug cartel or terrorist group so that they can penetrate the country beyond the border area.”

With the obvious move to outfit local police with military surplus items and all the talk of threats emanating from the ISIS terror group, do you think we are witnessing the preparations for some kind of emergency event, similar to 9/11, that may ultimately necessitate that type of military gear? In other words, do you think the feds are arming up for a reason they are not disclosing to the American people?

Chumley: There’s a lot of military experts out there that are saying – and these experts have access to some of the top intel that comes out of our agencies at the federal level – that we need to watch out for ISIS, that there are signs that this terror group, not only what we’ve seen in the news, like threatening to fly the flag at the White House and threatening to make American streets run with blood, but besides that, there’s actually intel that says that these people are already in America, that they’ve crossed the borders. Which brings me to one of the points in my book about the police state we’re facing right now. On one hand, our government cracks down on the Constitution and personal freedoms

So, short answer: “Yes.” I think soon enough we are going to see another September 11th -type terror attack on American soil. It’s very sad to say, but I don’t think this White House and this president have the guts to face up to that awareness and to take the steps that are needed to stop it.

In your book you mention the flagging role of the establishment media, who more and more behaves in a lapdog manner rather than in an adversarial role, as they’re meant to. Your book also mentions polls showing that public confidence in the corporate media is at all-time lows. Do you see the alternative or independent media, websites like the Drudge Report, Infowars and WND, stepping in to fill this void?

But honestly, if you look at what’s going on in the nation right now, if you add in a crappy economy that hasn’t improved at all – people are looking for jobs, they’re really desperate a lot of people – and if you combine that with our porous borders, what’s gonna happen in the next few years is you’re only gonna bring in more and more leftists and progressives into the nation. It’s hard to imagine the country in the next twenty years not having a lot more civil unrest like in Ferguson. But we’re certainly not without hope. This nation is the best in the world. It’s got the best form of government, the Constitution, behind it, and it’s got a nation of people outside of Capitol Hill and a few leftist spots in the nation that love and have a patriotic heart for America. And I think most people once they’re aware of all the different ways they’re being attacked from the government, that they can dig in and they can fight back. And I really believe our nation will prevail in the end.

Chumley: Infowars, you guys do a great service to the US public. There’s a lot of other media that people would call alternative, but it’s becoming more and more mainstream, because what was called “mainstream” a few years ago is so far left that people aren’t paying attention to it anymore. They’re just doing the PR work of the politicians and the government agencies they cover. They’re not doing any type of watchdog or investigative reporting, which isn’t really a niche in reporting, if you think about it. That’s what reporting is supposed to be. It’s supposed to be: ask tough questions, and get to the truth of the matter.
