& his Key Club Story “I originally joined Key Club in my freshman year to avoid the feeling of loneliness. Now two years later, I cannot say that I have gone a day without feeling the constant love and support of my fellow members. In sophomore year I had moved to a new school, which also meant I was moving into a new division, but the welcoming nature of my new clubs officers made me feel right at home. They even helped me build up the courage to run for a position. Although I lost, my only regret is that I didn’t run for a position in my freshman year. I think people underestimate just what a group of teenagers can do, from KCCP to the Thirst Project, we continue to help those in our community and around the world. So I encourage you all to take pleasure in the enjoyment of others, keep serving, and be courageous. Because it’s these things that will keep us going. Stay cool, 33”
