Andy Ros & his Key Club Story

“As a freshman, I joined Key Club solely for the fact that it would help me on my road to college since I didn’t know much about it. But with my Key Club life progressing, I grew into the person that I am today, I learned to put others before myself. Key Club brought the best out of me, it showed me who I am supposed to be in life. Although I did quit Key Club my Freshman year because I thought it was a meaningless club that barely does anything, I came back Junior year and quickly came to realization that I made a huge mistake: I quit something that would have ultimately bettered my life and missed out on the opportunity to meet many other caring people in my community. Thankfully during Junior Year I knew that Key Club was something that I wanted to take care of so more people would know about it’s great impact which got me to make just about the best choice of my life: running for Key Club President.” “This was a journey that I wish I could do over and over again; me being president, I was able to attend every single service event that was found so seeing the joy on everyone’s face while helping them was all I needed to keep on going. This was a journey that was nothing but rewarding, the best year of my life thankful to the immense amount of support from all of the kind people around me. Throughout my whole term I have had zero regrets at all for running for president since it’s such a fulfilling position to take up. Even though my Key Club journey is over, I know that I will always go back and reminisce the memories that we have created, so all I have to say now is thank you for making my high school life a ride to remember Division 33.”

Immediate-Past Club President Decatur HS

On April 11th I held my first DCM for D33. At our ‘Dough-Licious DCM’, we said goodbye to our old club officers, inducted new officers for the upcoming term, played super fun ice breakers, had a KCCP coin drive, and ATE DONUTS! We had around 12 dozen donuts to eat, which all disappeared. And by the way, we raised $123 for KCCP. YAY!! Special thanks to everyone who came out! I had a great time finally meeting many of you. The DCM could not have been possible without all your support and I truly appreciate it. J

I can’t wait to see Krakens & Dragons at our JOINT MAY DCM!! J
