Many educators and influential leaders advocate that true excellence in schools is measured by what students do with their lives after they graduate. On that note, Alpharetta and surrounding area high schools are on the right track.

In a 2020 education ranking issue published by U.S. News & World Report, 5 out of 7 Alpharetta or surrounding area high schools made the top 20 list of the best high schools in Georgia, and earned a place among the top 500 high schools in the nation. This is pretty impressive given that the U.S. News & World Report rankings include data on more than 24,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Nearly 18,000 high schools were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
