Open Days

One thing we often hear from our students is that this is a place where they feel like a name and not a number. The best way to experience our personal, supportive approach to education is to come along and meet us in person. Find out for yourself what makes our York St John University community special.

Our Open Days are your opportunity to meet the people who will inspire and support you as you study. They are a chance to see where you could be living and get to know our vibrant campus. This is the best time to ask all your questions in person and have them answered by our friendly staff and students.

CAMPUS TOURS

Led by a friendly Student Ambassador, a Campus Tour is a great way to see our facilities and get an introduction to the University. These tours must be booked in advance. You can book your place online by visiting:

These sessions are especially for those returning to learning after a break from education. They are a chance to talk to current mature students and find out more about the support we offer you while you study. See pages 44-45 for more information about joining us as a mature student.

MEET US ONLINE

In recent years, we’ve adapted to changing Covid restrictions and Government guidance around events wherever necessary. This means that we’ve considered additional safety measures at our Open Days on campus. We have also provided alternative online events when meeting our applicants in person has not been possible. If Government guidance changes again in the future, we’ll continue to provide interactive ways of getting to know us without visiting us on campus.
