York St John University stood out to me from the moment I arrived. The beautiful old part of campus is eye catching and the atmosphere when walking around the University is something else. Everything is so cosy, welcoming and homely.

THE ONE FOR CREATORS AND INNOVATORS

Our campus is a place where modern buildings meet Victorian architecture. It’s a place to study in innovative, specialist learning spaces, or unwind in award-winning gardens.

Creative Centre

In 2021 we opened a brand new Creative Centre on campus. It’s the new home for our music and computer science courses. It also contains specialist spaces for theatre, drama, creative writing and media production. The Creative Centre is a space for you to cultivate your creativity and bring your ideas to life. It includes: • Professional standard theatre • Critical listening room with Dalby

Atmos sound system and glass rear projection screen • Recital room • Specialist music and media studios • Editing suites • Computer science laboratories

Sports Campus

Just over a mile from our main site you’ll find our Haxby Road Sports Campus. With an indoor sports centre and 57 acres of outside space, it’s the home of sport at York St John University. Our indoor facilities include: • Sports hall • 3 tennis courts • Strength and conditioning suite • Human performance laboratory • Sports therapy room • Café and social spaces Outdoors, we also have: • 3 football and rugby 3G pitches • 3 floodlit tennis courts • 3 grass football pitches • 2 floodlit netball courts • 2 grass rugby pitches • A sprint track

York St John London Campus

As an ambitious institution, we’re always looking ahead to the future and staying at the forefront of what’s new in education.

Our London Campus is based at the historic East India Dock, 10 minutes from Canary Wharf and 15 minutes from central London by train. London is just 2 hours away from York by train, so we are closely connected to the exciting and fast paced city. While we currently only offer postgraduate degrees in London, the new connections and opportunities we explore through our campus benefit all of our students.
