Hi there! I’m Talia, owner of La Petite Beaderie Jewelry & Craft Supplies and founder of La Belle Piece Handmade Jewelry & Gifts. La Belle Piece is a collective of amazingly talented artisans and designers who are passionate about their craft and want to share it with the world! Welcome to our first ever Travel issue! On the pages of this issue, you'll find ways to travel in style, whether you're on business or purely for fun! No room in the budget? No time for a trip? Not to worry! You'll find plenty of fun ideas for a staycation on page 6! And, my number one tip, no matter where you're going, is to always stay safe! Be sure you know where you're going, where you are and who you're with. Being aware is always in style! I would also like to introduce our Featured Designer of the Week, Ms. Rhonda Hanley of Trinity Silver Jewelry! Rhonda is, without a doubt, one of the most kindhearted and supportive spirits I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Since the day we connected, she has shown her true giving nature, whether she's posting a shout out to a fellow designers' awesome talent or giving credit to those that help her on her creative journey, Rhonda never hesitates to go that extra mile to make others feel special. Nothing is more proving of that then the pieces she creates. Each has a story, or a history rather. She pays homage to her Wampanoag elders and ancestors by creating pendants from wampum, a shell once used as the original currency. Rhonda also breathes new life into vintage pieces that still echo a time long gone by. Find out more about Rhonda and Trinity Silver Jewelry starting on page 3. I hope that you enjoy the pieces throughout these pages, many of which are for sale and you can shop for them right inside these pages! Thank you so much for your support! Handmade with heart,

Talia

Featured Designer of the Week: Rhonda Hanley of Trinity Silver Jewelry Rhonda Hanley's love of the beach and sea made her an avid collector of sea glass and beach treasures at a very young age. Not content with having these treasures merely sit on the shelf, her passion for creating beautiful things from the objects the sea had left behind, and a keen interest, she began to develop her skills in creating extraordinary pieces of jewelry. It was through that passion that Trinity Silver Jewelry came to be. In addition to her love of beach treasures, the pull of buttons and baubles from eras gone by also inspires her creativity. Her passion is evident in the many beautiful pieces she creates not only for her online stores but also for her clients. She thoroughly enjoys working with people to create something special from a piece that may be broken or irreparable and give it a new life. To see more of Rhonda's gorgeous jewelry, or to work with her to create your own memorable piece, you can find her at the following: https://www.facebook.com/TrinitySilverRhonda https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrinitySilverJewelry https://www.instagram.com/trinity_silver_rhonda/ https://www.facebook.com/LaBellePieceHandmadeJewelryAndGifts/

10 Fun Ideas Feel like JetSetter Without Leaving Home!

Short on time? No room in the budget? Take a trip to an exotic, or not-so-exotic locale any time you want with these fun ideas! 1) Every amazing trip starts with a plan! When you choose your destination, do some research! Find out about the cuisine, the local customs, fun things to do, places to explore, and what the local language is! 2) Love to cook? Find one recipe for a dish from your destination and make it with flair! Don't love being in the kitchen? Check your local restaurants in line with your destination to see if they deliver or have to-go services. Grab a bottle of vino and set the table in style! 3) Nothing takes you to far-off lands like the scent of your surroundings. Amanda Richardson of AtoZ Candles makes an amazing range from the crisp scent of Northern Lights to the tropical Pina Colada. A new destination is only a whiff away! 4) Immerse yourself in the sites and sounds of a new land with Google! Just type the destination in the search bar and find the right music to set the stage. 5) Seeking a safari? A trip through the New Dehli markets? Grab pillow! Handmade pillow from Adorable Dee-Signs by Denise will whisk you away in comfort! 6) Learn a "local" custom! Grab Google again and search your destination's local customs and take 'em for a spin! 7) Visit your local museum, library, art gallery, even the zoo! These places pack a variety of resources for learning about far-off destinations! 8) Rather "travel" to the beach instead? Grab an ocean CD! Slip on an eye mask and be whisked away with the sounds of waves crashing on the sand, minus the bikini prep! 9) Learn a few key phrases from your "vacation" country! YouTube has tons of videos to help you speak the language! 10) Explore your own town! You don't have to venture far to discover the history and mysteries right where you live! Knowing your own locale can provide a deeper connection to the place you call home!

How to Travel In Style Whether you're traveling for business or for fun, these tips will have you heading out in style, every time.

1) Swap out your standard sneakers with on-trend flatforms. You won't forgo the comfort and be uber stylish! 2) Stash your essentials in fun totes and cosmetic bags, like these ultra-fab handmade ones from Well-Traveled by Lauren Howie!

3) Worried about leaving the comforts of home? Pack your own pillow and grab a satchel of Laundry Day from AtoZ Candles. No folding required. 4) When you're not traveling, build a stash of trial sizes of your favorite beauty products from places like Sephora, Ulta and Target! 5) No need for overpacking! Grab your favorite little black or white dress, jeans, black leggings, bright cardigan, scarf or wrap suited for the destination, a few neutral t-shirts and 2 pairs of shoes. Switch up your look with amazing accessories, like the jewelry you can find among these pages! 6) Stash those accessories without worrying about a tangled mess! Pack them away in a chic jewelry roll. 7) Rolling, rather than folding, your wardrobe decreases the chances of dealing with pesky wrinkles. 8) In case you do end up with wrinkles, pack a portable steamer! This is an essential on my list! 9) Make your own list! Considering the inevitable panic that ensues when prepping for a trip, having a handy checklist will ensure that you never miss a thing! 10) Don't forget the shades! Whether you've been to Vegas (shhhh!) or a hiking excursion through the Andes, recover those peepers in style with glam, oversized sunnies!
