Levels of Intensity

Each fitness class is rated by its difficulty. To learn more about which classes are right for you, look for the dumbbell icons.

For absolute beginners. A bit more advanced, but suitable for all levels. Challenge yourself.

Functional Fitness

This class focuses on functional strength and mobility for those who are looking to move more freely, with greater joint range of motion, while reducing muscle stiffness and joint pain. It’s a low impact chair-based fitness class that pairs beautiful with the 50+ Strengthen & stretch class.

Fusion

Fusion Fitness is a blend of Pilates, balance, core, strength and endurance training blended together to form a low impact mat based workout. The goal of the program is have all participants feel successful in their movement, strong, de-stressed, more flexible and relaxed.

Mat Moves

50+ Strengthen and Stretch

Strengthen and stretch is tied in with the 50+ Walk-On program. Join our CSEP-certified trainer for a 30-minute exercise class that focuses on fun while improving strength and flexibility.

Aquafit for all

This aquafit class is geared to suit all adults and abilities. Get in. Get wet and get fit.

Aquafit Seniors

In partnership with Portage Pool & Family Community Support Services, this fun & energizing class will improve your mobility, strength, and endurance with no impact on your joints.

Floor, Core & More

Take a load off mid-day with this condensed, floor based, low impact, exercise class. Participants will chisel and sculpt the entire body using a variety of portable equipment.

Inspired by the techniques from Pilates & Yoga, this movement and mat-based class will shape your body and improve your core strength, balance, and flexibility. Using your own bodyweight, resistance bands, and other specialty equipment you’ll leave feeling toned in all the right places!

Mini Band Camp

5 different bands, countless body shaping exercises. This low impact lunch time fitness class will have you tightening and toning all of the major muscles in the body including the smaller ones in between.

Outdoor Bootcamp

This class will take you through series of full body strengthening exercises and cardiovascular movements that will get the metabolism kick started for the day.

Postnatal Fitness

This class will focus on connecting breath, movement, and engaging/relaxing the pelvic floor. Classes will have a combination of strengthening & cardio exercises with no or limited equipment. Babies will be incorporated in with the exercises or sleep right through! Childmind services are available at this time if needed.

Prenatal Fitness

This class is designed for to moms to be, whether you are newly pregnant or heading into your third trimester (with clearance from your doctor). The class will use portable equipment and body weight to strengthen and condition the body. At the end of each class we will also discuss the benefits of exercise and pregnancy through a variety of topics.

Slow Flow Yoga

You will be guided through a variety of traditional and nontraditional yoga-inspired movements to develop functional joint range of motion and deeper sense of body awareness. This is a great class for anyone, beginner to advanced, because its ‘slow flow’ that builds your flexibility foundation and enhances muscle recover/injury prevention.

Spin

Spin your day away with a spin class that will improve your cardio, strengthen your legs and enhance your core! Class that will include intervals, hill climbs and a whole lot more! Suitable for all fitness levels.

SYNERGY 360 Class

Synergy 360 Classes are explosive small group circuit programs designed by our in-house personal trainers to challenge you on all levels – all based around a single training rig.

TRX®

This class will use the TRX suspension training to get a full body workout, even cardio! The adjusting straps will suit all fitness levels. The TRX will allow you to go deeper into moves, increase your flexibility and provide support all at the same time!

Zumba ® Fitness

Zumba fitness has many disciplines. In this session, we will be doing Zumba Cardio dance intervals using small free weights making the moves more challenging. Throw in some strength and endurance intervals, some floor work, and you have one fun and effective workout.
