KidSport provides grants to families facing financial barriers to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under can participate in programs and sports.

June 29/22 - Alberta’s Government is investing $4 million to help get more Alberta Kids and youth active! Funding of $1.85 million will support more than 7,000 children, as KidSport Alberta will distribute funds to local chapters.

KidSport has nearly 40 local chapters in Alberta alone. The Back to Sport Project is raising $1.5 million to support the return to sport for 6,000 kids across the province so ALL kids can PLAY! For more info about KidSport, visit: kidsportcanada.ca The Lac La Biche chapter accepts applications and administers grants up to $300 per kid/year. Application forms available online and in county recreation facilities.
