Alexis Nicolaou-Ghekas is a luxury tourism expert with an unwavering passion for French wine culture and gastronomy. Originally from southern Burgundy, a region renowned for its exceptional terroir, and having grownup in Lyon, the gastronomic capital of France, Alexis has been deeply influenced by the culinary riches and traditions of the French terroir. Throughout his career, Alexis has acquired a solid expertise in the field of tourism and hospitality. For four years, he worked in the South of France, offering highend tourism experiences and exceptional hospitality service. His passion for excellence then led him to work in the Alps, where he honed his sense of service and his knowledge of customer expectations in luxury hotels.

Compelled by a sense of adventure and a love of travel, Alexis sought to expand his sphere of influence and moved to the magical island of St Barthélemy. It was there that he began promising career renting luxury villas and offering a personalized concierge service. Thanks to his dedication, Alexis quickly rose through the ranks, eventually reaching the position of Chief Concierge and Operations

Manager. During this time, he had the chance to look after celebrities and VIPs, organizing exclusive parties and events. His expertise in organizing special events and his attention to detail enabled him to create unforgettable experiences for his discerning clients.

Building on his international experience, Alexis is now back in France, ready to share his expertise and offer tailor-made services to discerning clients across the world. I want to let you know how incredible Brigid and I find Alexis. We met him several years ago when we were dealing with Eden Rock properties. I have been traveling to St. Barths 2 to 4 times per year for over a decade. During that time, I have used WIMCO, St. Barth Properties, St. Barth Blue, Eden Rock and Le Barthelemy. During that time, I have had many concierge and Alexis is the best without question.

In fact, it was because of Alexis that I switched from Eden Rock to Le Barthelemy. Please do not underestimate how much this means. We have many friends that frequent the island as well and have told them all to switch to Le Barthelemy –because of Alexis.

He has our reservation requests taken care of immediately, he is so quiet in the mornings we never notice when breakfast is left, he knows all the people we need to contact and goes above and beyond all the time.

Let me give you one specific example:

A few years ago, the night before we needed to leave, I had received a parking ticket from the Prefectorate (I parked too close to Eddy’s sidewalk driveway). Sunday morning, the Prefectorate was closed and I could not pay the ticket. I did not want to leave the rental car company to pay the bill and was unsure how to take care of things. Alexis volunteered. I left my money with him, and the next day, once we were gone, he went to the Police station, paid our bill, got us a stamped receipt and mailed me all the receipts. He did not need to do this at all. It made a lasting impression.
