The Letsitele Secret Part 2

The ‘secret’ surrounding the new Police station in Letsitele is deepening. Today we disclose some more information regarding this monumental failure. We are working on new angles to

the disastrous building project, like the case of a sub-contractor who has been grossly overpaid: a full R1,17 million instead of just R117 000! Turn to page 3 for the latest disclosures.

Nicolaos Nicolaou Put all Sharks players in and take out Habana, he’s done his part and is old now. Pat Patterson Remove all Sharks and fill up with Blue Bulls, then proceed. Schalk Van Der Merwe The Boks are a very good team. Had a good performance. Only one thing wrong. We have a clueless general. Morné Steyn is the only problem and Ruan Pienaar. I›m a Bulls fan myself, but know how to identify a problem. Pat Patterson Jokes aside, you are right Schalk, there were quite a few missed opportunities as well. Rudi Fichardt I think they must all stay, because they play so hard and they gave all their best. We can’t brake the team apart. The team must stick together. I am proud to be a Bokke supporter.

Let wel: Hulle sê nie so nie!

Woman found with dagga worth R1,3m A 37 year-old woman of Tiyani village, Giyani, has been arrested after the police found 165 kg of dagga estimated at a street value of R1,3million in her house. This comes after police raided Spaza shops suspected to be selling either liquor or dagga illegally. Some of the suspects that were netted in the raid apparently revealed who supplied them. The woman, Rose Ngobeni, is said to be living alone in a five-roomed house where fifteen bags of dagga weighing 165 kg were found. According to the spokesperson for the Giyani police cluster, inspector Thomas Makhubele, the woman refused to tell where she got the dagga from. “It’s obvious there’s a big fish behind this and we want to know its origin, because it definitely not from her garden,” he said. The woman appeared in the Hlanganani Magistrate Court and she was released on R10 000 bail. Her case was postponed to allow the police to do some further investigation. Brig Rosina Mulaudzi, the head of the Giyani cluster (four police stations) vowed to get to the bottom of the case. “We want the main supplier of the dagga and we will leave no stone unturned to find him or her,” she said. —Orlando Chauke orlando@bulletin.us.com

TOP LEFT: Police officers offload the dagga that was found. LEFT: Brig Rosina Mulaudzi, white top and wearing spectacles, is seen here flanked by her team, after the breakthrough. The Tzaneen Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect(s) who were involved in an accident while transporting illegal cigarettes worth an estimated R½ million. The accident occurred last week Thursday on the Magoebaskloof road near Sapekoe. The driver of a BMW clearly lost control and crashed into a tree next to the road. The suspect(s) ran away. There was blood on both front seats, meaning the occupant(s) were injured. The owner of the car has been identified and police are looking for him. The destination of the cigarettes is unknown. Anyone with information should contact Lt Col Cecil Machimana on 072 532 1725 or 08600 10111.

With stock theft rife in the Mopani and Vhembe areas, police in Malamulele might have smashed one of the stocktheft syndicates operating in the area, when they arrested three men. The men were found in a village with a bakkie and trailer laden with goats. The fifty goats are suspected to have been stolen by the gang, which is believed to be operating in the area. According to Malamulele police spokesperson W/o Alison Mapindani, the police were on routine sector patrols when they came across the suspects. “On enquiring as to where they had bought the goats, the three men from Kwazulu-Natal, could not provide the

necessary documentation to prove if and where they had purchased the goats,” said Mapindani. They told police that they had bought goats in the area to sell back home in KZN. “We appeal to community members who might have lost stock in recent times to come to the police station and identify their livestock,” he said. Recently, more than 500 stock farmers from Mopani and Vhembe marched to the Giyani Magistrates Court to present a memorandum demanding that the magistrate set an example in the case in which four men are charged with two counts of stock theft. — LiN Media News/Limpopo Mirror

Police clean up in Tzn The Tzaneen police cleaned up the streets over the weekend during Operation Kick Off, and 54 people were arrested for various offences ranging from drinking in public, possession of dagga and shoplifting. According to the Tzaneen police communications officer, Const David Seale, the operation lasted for four days. Police operating in Bolobedu South and on farms around Tzaneen had numerous successes. The police arrested eighteen people for

drinking in public, five for illegal gambling, three for traffic offences, three on common assault, two for defeating the ends of justice and three for illegal trading. Seale said drinking in public and drugs are a big challenge in Tzaneen. He continued by saying that “people should know that we are not going to rest until our streets are clean”. He again warned people to be cautious of criminals who offer help at ATM’s. —Martina Jege martina@bulletin.us.com

Vier Kersfees in Oktober!

Hy is een liggie in ‘n donker tonnel.

I offer my opponents a bargain: If they will stop telling lies about us, I will stop telling the truth about them. — Adlai Stevenson, campaign speech, 1952 Politics is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich, by promising to protect each from the other. — Oscar Ameringer

I understand Sarel du Toit, Box 357, Tzaneen, 0850, Cell 073 571 0621 writes: In responce to Laurette Van den Heever’s complaint in Bulletin, 14 September 2012, the following: “Batho Pele, a SeSotho word, which means People First, is an initiative that was launched in 1997 to transform Public Service at all levels”. It seems to me that Mr Pierre Van den Heever, Director of Electrical Engineering does not take this seriously. In my opinion Mr. Van den Heever has a whole year to plan for the rainy season and to budget for the repair of faulty lines and to clear vegetation where it causes problems during rainy season. About thirty years ago Tzaneen had a much heavier rainfall and the vegetation

Letters • Briewe grew much denser, but power failures were under control because the power lines were kept clean. I understand Ms Laurette Van den Heever`s despair. I talked to an elderly gentleman from Woodbush recently and was told that he had been without power for seven days. Our power at Broederstroomdrift went out on Thursday night at 23h00. It came on on Saturday morning 11 am. It is the beginning of the rainy season. What Mr van den Heever does not understand is that we have to pump water to care for workers, family and animals. We paid thousands of rands to get these lines to our

places. Some of us do not get a salary at the end of the month and has to use electrical equipment to earn a living.

We have sickly and elderly neighbors as well as a young couple with a baby. Mr Van den Heever`s remark to Ms Laurette Van den Heever about God was vulgar and cowardly. Mr Van den Heever does not like to answer in the media. He likes to insult customers in private to ensure that his reputation in public stays spotless. I know because he also insulted me a few years ago by calling me a liar and a Takhaar. He also has the ability to make an already upset consumer see red. I therefore suggest that the GTM use the taxpayers money to send him on a customer care course as well as one on Strategic

What happens when things go wrong in our lives? Who do we blame? Often it is God who we blame first, then we blame others for our failings in life, “if only……”. Rarely, do we look at ourselves and see if perhaps it is our fault. How often do we do an introspect? Do we just look at our lives and see only the outward picture? A preacher at a funeral service was talking about how we perceive life in general. He stated: that often if asked to look outside and see if the sun is shining on a rainy day. We say that we see clouds and rain. We do not see that the sun is shining, but it is behind those clouds the sun is shining just like it does every day. We just cannot see it. In life we often just see the dull side and often it is circumstances that make us see only the bad things in life. Murder, theft, embezzlement, marriages that go wrong, it is no wonder we often become disheartened and see only the negative. This is often the case in our spiritual lives. What do we do when all seems lost? Do we just give up or do we try to see that after all God has given us a new day to start over, to look for that “Silver Lining”? and say: “I see the sun shining behind the clouds”, This not an easy task however, and we need a strong faith to overcome these difficulties and start anew. We need the support of our families and friends but most importantly we must remember that through all this we have the unfailing support of God. Time and time again He is there to support us, to uplift us. All that is needed is just a little faith and He will do the rest. Turn to Him and accept the gifts He has to offer you. Now it may not be what you want but He knows what is good for you so just lean on Him and believe. I know it is not easy but rest assured that it does work. Eventually, you will look back Blessings planning. I also suggest that Ms Laurette van den Heever send a formal letter to the greater Tzaneen Municipality to establish a paper trail concerning the power failures in her area. I am going to do the same because we experience short power failures quite often. We are definitely not going to stop complaining and accept things for what they are, as the Director suggested to Ms Van den Heever. Residents of at least one other municipality have already taken further steps to ensure better service delivering concerning electricity.

• Ms Van den Heever’s allegations are untested and it is rather unfair to accuse Mr van den Heever of vulgar and cowardly conduct on the basis of those untested allegations. In fact, it could be taken as slander, but we decided to publish your letter without deleting the accusations, in order for Mr van den Heever to reply in full, should he wish to reply to your letter — Editor

What will it be: Tzaneng, Tzanana or will it stay Tzaneen? Final • Continued from last week

The proper meaning of Tsanene from which ‘Tzaneen’ originated: TSANENE: The proper meaning of the place name Tsanene is: a residential place or land space where there is a large concentration of people in their hundreds. “TZANEEN”: In his book, ICH SUCHTE LAND IN AFRIKA, 1934, Mr. Henrich Schulte Altenroxel stated to KgoŠi Makgoba that: “Den Raum, den du mir gezeigt hast, nennen wir Tzaneen (sprich: Tzanin), das heist: die Giluckliche”, p. 184; that means, The space that you pointed out to me we shall call Tzaneen (pronounced as: Tzanin) that means: the happy one or the joyful one. Mr. Altenroxel wrote the name Tsanene as he heard, understood and pronounced it – Tzaneen – and he exalted or applauded it by interpreting it as “A happy Land”, which meaning has no harm to anybody with a reasonable feeling of normal humanity in a democratic country like South Africa. The name Tzaneen is neither blasphemous, indecent, offensive, vulgar nor embarrassing. Conclusion: In conclusion one would reiterate what was said by

Today Messrs Lekgolo Lazarus Ramalepe and Phetole David Mohubidu from Tzaneen offer their last arguments in support of the name Tzaneen. Deputy President, Honourable Mr. Kgalema Motlanthe on a Monday of May 31, 2010 on SAFM Radio Station at around 8:40. He warned that names’ change should not be passed on majority or on numbers; but be passed on profiles or history. He further warned that once names’ change is based on majority, the next time the next group becomes a majority, they will change the name. These are the words of wisdom by a political leader who has forethought and vision for the better South Africa. The Department of Arts and Culture, South Africa also sounds a warning and advice: “It is regrettable that there are political parties, whose leadership should be conversant with the steps outlined above, who have chosen to excite anxieties and doubts amongst sections of our society with misleading statements that might generate much heat but will

shed little light on the way forward. We urge citizens to familiarize themselves with the procedures and to carefully monitor consultative and investigative processes whose outcome might be a name change.” (Procedures for Changing Geographical Names, website dated 17 June 2011.) Invitation: We are hereby extending an invitation and calling upon individuals, groups, clubs, tribes, communities, structures of traditional leadership, our traditional leaders, political parties across the board, religion, structures of education, pupils, students, medical health and traditional healers associations, farming and industrial business, business and the taxi industry, business chambers, trade unions, youth organizations, women federations and organizations and all that are not mentioned here to stand up against, and challenge, protect and stop the alteration or renaming of the neutral name of our beautiful town, tzaneen. The process to take action to retain this standardised name should start now and that we exercise our rights as citizens of the Lowveld Mopani District.)

Poor people from communities around Tzaneen will enjoy easy access to health care for two weeks, as the miracle train of Phelophepa has pulled into the Tzaneen station. The Phelophepa train is a Transnet initiative established in 1994. Tzaneen will be the train’s last stop in Limpopo. Twenty permanent staff, forty final year students from different universities, thirteen security guards and 45 to 60 specially hired people assist in giving medical help to the poor. The Phelophepa manager, Mr Onke Mazibuko, said the project has made primary health care available to more than 5,5

million people since 1994. Medical check-ups are done for free, while specific treatment costs only R10 and medicines only R5. Those with eye problems pay only R30 for prescription eyeglasses. When Ms Maritza van Greunen was asked about how she feels about the Phelophepa service, her response was that it is a blessing to have been given proper health care at a low price. “Now I will be able to drive at night.” The Phelophepa train will be in Tzaneen Station until 28 September. —Martina Jege marina@bulletin.us.com

Gert Steyn passed on Mr Gert Steyn (58) a resident of Tzaneen (previously from Phalaborwa) died on 13 September at his home, surrounded by loving family. He is survived by his wife Margie, daughter, Ms Lisa Bloem, son-in-law and one granddaughter. A service was held at the Tzaneen Methodist Church. His death has left a huge void in the lives of all those who knew and loved him. He was also known as a keen angler.

The workers of Miami Canners at Letsitele are still in shock after one of their colleagues died du-ring an accident on the road to Eiland on Sunday. According to Letsitele police communications officer Const Ntsako Mabunda, a group of workers were heading to a soccer match using Miami Canners’ truck (above). The driver lost control of the truck and hit a powerline pole. There were people on the back of the truck and when the truck hit the pole, the electricity transformer came loose and fell on top of one of the passengers. He suffered severe head injuries. It is alleged that the driver was under the inluence of lquor. The 30 year-old man was taken to the Letaba Hospital for blood tests and he is held at the Letsitele police station’s cells. He is being charged for capable homicide. “We as police urge motorists to stop drinking and driving, because not only their lives are in danger, but also those of other motorists,” said Mabunda. NO! for snares

Modjadjiskloof residents can relax again as the snare problem in their area has been resolved by the SPCA and Letaba environmental affairs. Over a month ago Ms Adele Cavanagh, a resident, found her cat dead after it had been caught in a wire snare. She contacted the SPCA and an inspector visited the area and found another snare. ”We would like to keep the area free from snares and the guilty parties made aware of the fact that it is not acceptable to use snares,” said Cavanagh. She also explained that the last time the area was cleaned up was about four years ago, whilst the Lantana is growing vigorously. People also throw household rubbish into the streams. She added that the SPCA and the Greater Letaba Municipality should work together to combat such atrocities. —Martina Jege martina@bulletin.us.com

Make your own book shelves For a quick weekend project, why not jazz up a boring wall with beautiful book shelves? In only three steps you can create these interesting shelves using old books. Step 1 Find some cloth- or leatherbound books with beautiful spine that will look good grouped together. Secondhand bookstores or pawn shops often have a big selection.

What kind of room do you really want, you will need to pick a style and stick with it to avoid getting derailed.

What are your personal limits?

Choose bedroom components that work with your lifestyle and habits.

What’s the use?

What is your bedroom also used for? Does it also double up as your office or movie theatre?

7

steps to a new look for your bedroom

Whether cozy and warm, light and modern, or bright and eclectic find a colour to match your persona.

1. Organize and purge This is the easiest and most efficient to get that new look for you bedroom. Like with most home make-over projects, a good portion of the actual make-over involves simply getting rid of unneeded stuff. So feel free to purge that unwanted clutter.

3. Consider window coverings Because bedrooms tend to be smaller and dominated by large furniture, the eye is drawn upward beyond the bed, that’s where the window dressing can work its magic. Curtains, blinds, and shades can be very expensive- White panel curtains are simple, cheap, match with almost any style.

2. Make walls that soothe Painting a bedroom is probably the fastest and cheapest way to change the overall character. Strive to find a color that enhances the exact ambiance that you want in your bedroom.

4. Hang art that you love The bedroom is a great place to display the works of art that mean the most to you. You can choose from paintings, sculptures or keep it personal by using children’s drawings. 5. Pick appropriate linens Your linens should be comfortable first and foremost, with Advertorial style coming in second. sonkrag-warmwatersilinder (geyser) in voorraad, ideaal om in die behoeftes van ‘n gesin van vyf te voorsien.

6. Turn on good lighting You can usually identify a welldesigned room by the type of lighting used — it’s always the exact right amount for the right time of day (or night). Is your bedroom suffering from too much light? Consider installing a dimmer to reduce the overhead glare. Alternately, your bedroom might have dim lighting that strains the eye. In either case, you can benefit from a few wellplaced lamps that increase visibility without overloading the senses.

7. Find furniture that fits New or different furniture should be your last resort in redoing your bedroom, unless a change is drastically needed, don’t get too caught up in the idea of completely overhauling every piece of furniture you own. A plain white table runner can hide a multitude of surface damage to dressers. Sometimes, wooden furniture just needs a good polish. Source: www.wisebread.com

Step 2 Buy two sets of brackets. Use one set for below the books and a single bracket for above. Measure the thickness of each book before starting to drill. Step 3 Slide each book between the top and bottom brackets. Make sure it fits snugly. Now you can place lightweight objects on the shelves and your project is done!

Why you should recycle Recycling uses less energy, water and other resources during the manufacturing process. It also saves natural resources as recyclables are used as raw materials. Recycling also extends the life of landfills, saves the cost of purchasing and maintaining new landfill sites and reduces the cost of transporting waste. Which are the products that can be recycled? Steel food and beverage cans Glass bottles and jars Newspapers, magazines, paper towels, tissues, cardboard boxes Plastic bottles, plastic bags, buckets, dustbins, toys Fruit juice and milk containers look like they’re made out of paper, but they are lined with aluminium foil and plastic so they must be recycled separately FUN FACT: Disposable batteries are not recycled – this is apparently because the material recovery rate is too small to make recycling economically viable. But they should not be thrown away with ordinary household waste either, because they contain toxic chemicals that

can leach into the soil and groundwater. Rechargeable batteries, on the other hand, are recyclable. Add to this the fact that they last a lot longer than ordinary batteries and you have a compelling argument to buy rechargeable from now on. How you can join the movement You can start recycling by simply separating your rubbish- separate your normal household waste such as food products. Then you need to sort all your recyclable products like paper and glass. Once your waste is separated and sorted you should put your recyclable waste out for collection. Check with your municipality when they pick-up recyclable waste - if it’s with normal garbage or if they have set a day aside. Then choose to buy recycled material. Orange Tree Furniture: Responsible luxury Orange Tree Furniture provides a green alternative to people who enjoy beautiful furniture. It is an exclusive range created from citrus trees that are cleared for the re-establishment of new orchards. Orange Tree Furniture is a proudly South African product which is handmade by Barnard Houtwerke in a factory in Nkowankowa, near Tzaneen. Barnard Houtwerke was started in 2005 by Mr Johan Barnard, a citrus farmer in the Letsitele area, who realized the value of orange tree wood. On most farms old citrus trees that do not produce a lot of fruit any more are uprooted and burnt. Barnard realized that the wood could be used for something and began gathering the tree trunks. He then started Barnard Houtwerke with only two farm labourers and through hard work and training now has sixteen highly skilled artisans. The company also continually creates job opportunities for skilled and unskilled workers. When the trunks are recovered, the timber is treated and then stack-dried for twelve months before the manufacturing process starts. Each tree trunk is unique, because its life cycle and the environmental conditions it was exposed to influences its colour. This makes each piece of furniture exclusive as the colour of the wood differs. What makes the furniture even more unique is that each piece is handmade and thus has the potential of becoming a collector’s piece. Orange Tree Furniture is an excellent alternative to solid wood furniture, which is not always produced in an environmentally-friendly way. No forests are being destroyed and the wood is, in essence, recycled which makes the furniture a sustainable green product. The company is committed to responsible luxury and each piece is of high quality, durable and, most of all, stylish. For more information on Orange Tree Furniture visit www.barnardhoutwerke.com or contact the Hoedspruit Store on 015 793 0068.

Electricity is measured in units of power called watts (W) 1 000 watts = 1 kilowatt (kW) 1 kilowatt hour (kWh) = 1 000 W or 1 kW working for one hour All household appliances are rated in watts or kilowatts.

Before you buy a new appliance, check the energy efficiency rating, which is rated on a scale from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). A-rated appliances are better for the environment and cost much less to run.

Handy tips • Use a kettle to boil water, it is quicker and uses less energy than a pot on the hob. • Always match the size of the pan with the size of the stove plate. • Use a microwave to cook as it is quicker and cheaper. • Only fill kettle with the amount of water that you need. • Don’t keep opening the oven door while you are cooking. • Always put a full load of washing in the washing machine and if the weather is good dry the clothes on the line outside. • When you open your fridge door for more than a moment so be quick. • In most homes, lighting accounts for around 17% - 20% of the electricity bill. • Turn off the lights that you

Buying a new bed It’s the start of a new season and time for spring cleaning but few people think of the most important piece of furniture in their house: the bed. You should not only thoroughly clean your bedding and mattress but also check if the mattress-base combination is still good.

looks lumpy sags where you lie or at the edges has any wire or padding sticking through the cover cover is torn, soiled or stained makes a noise when you lie on it if you and your partner cannot comfortably lie next to each other

You should also replace the base if it has a sagging or uneven surface. Information sponsored by Bed City (015 307 4855)

What to consider when buying a bed Comfort: It should help you relax and feel comfortable. Support: Make sure the mattress keeps your spine straight and supports your body. Size: Make sure there is enough space to move if you toss and turn at night. Rather buy a longer and wider mattress than the standard one. Price: The most expensive mattress is not always the right one. Buy the mattress that suits your unique body shape and sleeping posture. Make sure that your mattress is not too soft or too firm. When you lie on a bed make sure the mattress hugs your body without sagging. If there are gaps between your body and the mattress it’s too firm and if it sags or a second person causes you to dip to the centre, it’s too soft.

braai Delectable Pork Spare Ribs

There are three reasons why pork spare ribs taste so great. First, their relatively high fat content which bastes and flavours the meat as it braais; secondly, the high bone-to-meat ratio which means that the bones impart further flavour to the meat as they heat up during the braai; thirdly, that sweet and sticky sauce we usually enjoy with them. But marinades and sauces that contain sugar burn easily, so there are two things that can go wrong when you braai spare ribs:

What you need (feeds 4) • • • • • •

1.5 kg pork spare ribs ½ cup honey (or golden syrup) ½ cup tomato sauce 1 tot apple juice ½ tot soy sauce ½ tot paprika

• You

remove them from the fire when you think the marinade is starting to burn, but then find the insides still raw.

• You braai them

until the inside is done, but by that stage the marinade is burnt.

There is a very easy way to get around these two problems, which is to braai first and marinade later. Don’t marinade or baste the ribs, just braai them and remove them from the fire about 5 minutes before they are ready. Generously smother them in the sauce, then return them to the fire and complete the braai. The ribs will be properly cooked inside and your sauce will be nicely glazed without being burnt.

s p i Hot T “Earlier today a journalist asked me for my top 10 braai tips. Considering that I did not have such a list of tips, I sucked them out of my thumb. Here they are: 1.

Nothing beats a real wood fire.

2.

Gas is Afrikaans for a guest at your braai, not something you braai with.

3.

Braaing is the only fat-negative way of cooking food. Even when you steam it, the fat in the food stays behind. When you braai, the fat drips out.

4.

Never braai with indigenous wood. Alien vegetation like Rooikrantz and Blackwattle drink lots of ground water and besides, it’s good burning Australian rubbish.

5.

Braaing is a direct form of energy use, from the coals, to your meat. With conventional electricity there is a lot spillage between the power plant, power lines, electricity box, wires, stove and pan. If you love the earth, braai.

6.

Have enough ice at your braai. To put in Klipdrift & Coke, to keep Castles cold, and to treat burn wounds with.

7.

Smoke flies to pretty people, so send them to the kitchen to go and make salad.

8.

Animals eat grass, leaves and vegetables all their lives and convert it to meat. Eating meat is like eating vitamin pills.

9.

A cow must only be killed once. Do not braai you steak until the flavour is dead.

What to do 1. Prepare the sauce: Mix all the ingredients (except for the ribs) together in a bowl. If there is anything else you wish to add to the sauce, do so. 2. Braai the whole spare ribs over medium heat for 30 minutes until almost done. 3. Remove the ribs from the fire and place on a cutting board. Cut into single ribs. 4. Toss the ribs into the sauce bowl and coat them well. Use a spoon and/or shake the bowl around. Leave for a minute or three so that the

exposed, meaty parts of the ribs can bond with and absorb the sauce. 5. Braai the now generously basted ribs for between 2 and 10 minutes until all the sauce is warm and glazed. If during the cutting you saw that the ribs are basically done and will start to dry out, just braai them for a minute or two until the sauce is glazed, but if you saw they still have a way to go, make it closer to 10 minutes or even longer, also exposing the two recently cut sides of each rib to heat by letting them face the coals.

Honey adds a unique flavour to this recipe but you could also substitute golden syrup.

10. A braaibroodjie is your chance in life to have you bread buttered on both sides.”

10 Principles of training by Damian Jansen van Rensburg Principle 9 – Balance All sports and physical activities require some level of balance. If it’s swinging a golf club or climbing stairs. Without balance these activities will be hard to do and you will be injury prone. By integrating balance as part of your regular workout, you can minimize your risk of falls and muscle imbalances - where one side of your body is tighter and weaker than the other side. There are two types of balance. Static balance is your ability to maintain your center of gravity in

a non-moving position, such as a handstand or standing on one leg. Dynamic balance is your ability to maintain balance while moving, such as running, tumbling or walking on sand. You can improve your balance by doing dynamic exercises which require you to move in more than one plane of motion or by using an unequal and/or soft surface. jean@bulletin.us.com
