Colour exploded onto the grounds of Unicorn Primary School in Tzaneen on Wednesday morning when they held their annual colour run in aid of Cancer Awareness. The students and teachers all participated with great vigour and were treated to cupcakes after the race. The proceeds of the event went to the Tzaneen Care Centre. Each of the colours represented the various types of cancers, with pink being the more prevelant, Breast Cancer. Photo: Joe Dreyer
Protectors or trophies? The two lions which escaped their transport in Georges Valley on Sunday evening, are now recuperating from the injuries they sustained after leaping from the moving trailer. The lions were being transported to Baltimore, near Lephalale, from Gravellotte after they were purchased from Osmers Exotic Game Breeders over the weekend. After their recapture on Monday morning, the two females were transported to Sampie Ras, a vet in Phalaborwa. There the lions were operated on for fractures to their hind legs. A report on the procedure will be tabled with the proper authorities. Hanno van Rensburg Wildlife Services handled the transport. We contacted them off their Facebook page and spoke to a man by
the name of Johan. We wanted to gain clarity on where the lions will be kept, what they were purchased for and how it happened that two of them escaped. “I don’t speak to the media, so you will have to find someone else to speak to,” he said abruptly. We tried a number of times to contact Zander Osmers Jnr for his comment on the matter, but we were unable to reach him. It is reported that four lions were purchased from Osmers by van Rensburg. All of the permits required were valid and presented and the purchase was above board. Only three of the lions, one male and two females were darted however, and the fourth one will now have to be captured before the permit expires on the 22nd of December this year.
Our investigations into this matter led us to the Hanno van Rensburg Wildlife Services Facebook page which contained a link to a website www.geneticgamebreeders.com. On this website’s ‘Contact Us’ page we found the link to www.authenticafricanadventures.org which took us to a hunting safaris page which seemed to cater mostly for the American tourists planning hunting trips in South Africa. The website states that Van Rensburg was awarded the 2013 PHASA “Uncle Stevie Award”. The “Uncle Stevie Award” is presented for the most outstanding trophy animal taken by a client whilst hunting in South Africa with a full member of PHASA. He also won the regional WRSA (Wildlife Ranching

South Africa) Koedoesrand “Young Game Rancher” Trophy and the Green Economy Award in that same year. Our investigation has raised eyebrows. Some media have made the shocking statement that lions were bought to act as “protection for the rhino” at the Baltimore sanctuary. Considering that two of the lions now need to recuperate for a few months until such time as they are able to hunt for themselves, the claim seems shallow. Four lions, two males and two females, bought for breeding or protection? We have sent an email enquiry to Hanno van Rensburg Wildlife Services to gain further insight on the story. We will publish a follow up next week. — Joe Dreyer joe@bulletin.us.com

School act could be changed State of affairs at schools in the country will take on a new dimension after the Department of Basic Education and Training devised a plan to curtail the powers of the School Governing Bodies in a move that raised eyebrows. The new law governing schools will allegedly ensure that the decision to hire principals and senior teachers at schools, will lie with the department and not the parents of the school’s pupils, as is the case now. A green paper has been submitted to parlia-
ment for deliberations before parliament could vote it into law. The new legislation is expected to be passed into law by the president after it was deliberated. National spokesperson for the department, Elijah Mhlanga, said the decision was reached after it was realised that giving powers to decide on appointments of senior teachers and headmasters resulted in crisis at many schools. He however added that the decision to change the law is not final as it still had to be discussed and voted for by the
relevant committees in parliament. The current law, titled the “South African School Act (SASA)” empowers parents through the School Governing Bodies to have powers to vote for the school budgets, appoint staff as well as to be involved in the day to day running of the schools. However Mhlanga denied that the new move will curtail the powers of parents when it comes to the administration at the schools. — Monna Litaba monna@bulletin.us.com
R1,5m Khujwana budget adopted Parents at Khujwana primary school were elated when a unanimous decision was reached with the presentation of the school’s budget framework totalling R 1 593 250 00 for the upcoming academic year. The budget was followed by an audit report for the school. Though some were not satisfied with the presentation, thinking the books might have been cooked before being presented, it did not take long before a consensus could be reached regarding the budget for the school. The meeting that was well attended and took place at the school assembly point in the early hours of Sunday morning. It culminated with the election of the new School Governing Body (SGB). In his presentation, the headmaster of the school, Mr NK Khosa, said that parents need to participate during the formulation of the budget as it is in line with the provisions of the South African Schools Act (SASA) and the parents of children need to give consent before the budget framework can be submitted to the department of Basic Education before funds could be allocated. He started by saying that the balance
brought forward from the previous financial year stood at R400 000. The school is expecting to receive the sum of R 1,6m despite the fact that the school has no means of income other than donations, grants and contributions from parents for school tours. Khosa, supported by members of the school governing body, broke down the budget of the school as follows- R 955 950 00 will be utilised for curriculum needs which include Educational media resources, such as TV`s, projectors, science kits, stationery, educator and learner materials, repairs and maintenance of windows and development for educators, learner and teachers and sundries that include petty cash and others. This is 60% of the money so far. Ablution facilities will be allocated R 127 460 00 which can be utilised as follows, the erection of toilets if a need arise, speeding digestion by buying chemicals, emptying of septic tanks as well as cleaning services for the toilets. This is 8% of the budget. R79 662 50 is budgeted for transport for the procurement of services and hiring transport in case a need arise that commodities be moved from one spot to another. This is 5% of the loot.
Khosa further said that sports and music has been allocated 10% totalling R 159 325 00 and is expected to be used for affiliation fees, transport for the learners to the venues as well as equipment for the sporting codes, catering, facilities and accommodation. The sum of R 270 852 00 totalling 17% has been earmarked for the general administration of the school which entails gardening and landscaping, security services, office stationery and others. According to Khosa the other funds totalling R72 000 00 will go towards food handling that includes the purchase of fuel and other amenities needed for the school nutrition programme. Khosa added that after the budget had been presented, two parents should provide their signatures that will be added with those of the treasurer and the chairperson of the SGB coupled with that of the headmaster and the auditor for the school. The headmaster also read the contents of the auditors’ report, a copy of which the Bulletin is in possession of together with the budget presentation. — Monna Litaba monna@bulletin.us.com

BPM spend MORE money on excursions As the residents of Phalaborwa face the possibility of a waterless December, 55 of their municipal councillors and employees enjoyed a two-day excursion at the luxury Sanbonani lodge in Hazyview. Officially labelled as the annual strategic planning conference, the officials left Phalaborwa in their own vehicles on Wednesday, and returned today (Friday). Last year the conference was held at Mopani Game Lodge and included night drives as part of the session. The costs for this two day planning conference are estimated at around R400 000. This includes the R1 000 per person per night for two nights, the venue fee (which we were not
secretaries’ Cape Town trip and a total of R600 000 was spent by the Phalaborwa municipality on excursions in 2017 alone. And that is only what we have managed to confirm. It would appear as though the concerns and wellbeing of the residents within the Ba-Phalaborwa area have taken a backseat to lavish banquets and expensive excursions. Why not hold planning sessions in the municipal chambers within your municipality? “This is an annual conference where we get together and discuss the progress made in the past year and plan for the objectives that need to be reached in the coming year” explained Jonas Mahesu, spokesperson for the
BPM in a phone call from Sanbonani Lodge. “I will give you official feedback when we get back next week.” Bulletin is still waiting for the Mayor, Pule Shayi, to respond to the grievances listed in the memorandum handed to him by the Phalaborwa residents on the 4th of November. Addressing the public on that day Shayi said that his office would respond within seven days. Mahesu later commented that the Mayor was misquoted and that it was in fact 21 days. Today marks exactly 27 days later (or 21 working days) and still not a single word has come from his office. — Joe Dreyer joe@bulletin.us.com
No word from GTM on invoices
Follow up It has been two weeks since Bulletin sent an enquiry to the spokesperson of the GTM, Neville Ndlala, regarding the outstanding rates bills of certain Tzaneen property owners, and still we have received no comment. The invoices in question showed ridiculous amounts of up to R127 000 owed to the GTM by the property owners in rates and services bills. In the meantime we have received more of these invoices which show unpaid rates of thousands of Rands owed to the Tzaneen municipality. The accounts show no month-

able to establish and which the lodge was not obligated to confirm), the cost of the facilitator and the R3 500 estimated travelling costs per person to and from the venue (if you calculate the reimbursement according to AA rates). The price per person, per night, included only breakfast which meant that dinner and lunch would have to be provided too. The average cost for lunch and dinner for a party of 55 runs at around R400 per person. The entire amount for the strategic planning conference was allegedly paid upfront, in full, before the event. Couple this with the R208 000 splurged by the BPM on the 26th of April for their eight
ly settlements by the account holders and most have run into more than 120 days in arrears. During the course of our ongoing investigations we paid visits to some of the addresses on the invoices. It would appear that none of their services have been disconnected despite the exorbitantly high outstanding accounts. Because of the GTM’s silence on the matter, we have not been able to determine whether there exists a legal or rational explanation behind the unpaid accounts. We do not know
why only a select few are seemingly granted immunity to the paying of municipal rates while others have their electricity cut off upon defaulting of their monthly payments. To owe R127 000 on your property rates indicates non-payment of more than just a few months. If you take into consideration that the average property owner’s monthly account is roughly between R2 000 and R6 000, owing such a large amount could indicate that the said rate payer has quite likely never paid a cent. Why has no legal action been
taken against these individuals? Do they receive special treatment because of family or other connections to high ranking officials, or is there a logical, legal explanation? Perhaps the honest rate payers are fitting the bill for the local elite? We have again contacted Ndlala and requested official comment from the municipality. We will report on this matter again in our next edition. — Joe Dreyer joe@bulletin.us.com
The sacking of Monyela
Agatha Road ignored
GTM suspended their head of legal services, Stephen Monyela. We still do not know the reasons for this or who will be his replacement. Rumour has it that the controversial Obi Mkombo has his eyes on the position.
Bulletin has sent enquiries to the South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) and received a very blasé response “we are working on it” from their spokesperson. Our investigations continue.

John crafts his way to 90 John van der Westhuizen needs very little introduction to most Phalaborwa residents. He has been here since 1963 and many of the locals are fortunate enough to own one or two items hand-crafted by him. He was born and educated in Stellenbosch and upon leaving school discovered that there were few job opportunities locally as Stellenbosch was a town of fish vendors and the like. For two years John worked at a myriad of jobs including being a bicycle mechanic, a gardener and was also employed on a wine farm (the latter for no pay). Fortunately for John, he had a schoolfriend whose father owned a joinery/furniture workshop who offered him work at ten shillings (one rand) per week out of which he paid boarding to his parents, bought cigarettes and went to the local cinema once a week. The workshop had previously been a stable and since woodworking machines were at a premium in those days, most of the work was handcrafted. It was during this period that John acquired the skills which remain with him to this day. From Stellenbosch, John went to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) where he eventually completed his trade in the building profession. He had a thorough and varied training from making wooden thimbles to working on such schemes as the Kyle Dam near the Zimbabwe Ruins. John came back to South Africa in 1963 and joined Palabora Mining Company. It was during his years at Palabora Mine that he started handcrafting furniture for his own home and a visit to his lounge is an eye-opener for any lover of handcrafted objects of art.
Apart from a most beautiful Louis XV provincial style writing cabinet, there is a chess table complete with handcrafted ivory chessmen, ball and claw coffee tables, a hand-crafted dining room suite, hand-crafted guitars, lamp-stands, clocks, bowls of indigenous wooden eggs, candle holders and other wooden wonders. When the locals (and the mines) realized that they had an artist in their midst, John was so inundated with orders that he took early retirement and his hobby became his business. John has always worked from home and his workshop is a very small open-air extension to his home. One can barely believe that the sheer volume of his work could have emanated from a space of this size. During the years since his retirement from the mine he has designed and crafted literally thousands of different trophies for the mines, local businesses, schools and marathons. On top of that he has crafted numerous retirement gifts for general managers and other leading lights in the business world. Many of these were grandfather clocks, chess tables or bowls of wooden eggs, each one made from a different indigenous wood. John’s creations have gone all over the world – his beautiful hand-crafted walking sticks especially have been warmly welcomed by some of our older statesmen, such as PW Botha, Dawie de Villiers and Nelson Mandela. Queen Elizabeth, the Queen’s mother, had one of his walking sticks and the “thank-you” letter from her secretary is one of John’s prized possessions. Dennis Thatcher (husband of the “Iron Lady”)

One of the most interesting requests that John had was to design the trophy for the “Palabora Classic”, the golf competition that started in 1985. John carved the head of Joao – one of the “Magnificent Seven” tuskers of the Kruger National Park. The competition was won on three separate occasions by Fulton Allem who obviously won three miniatures of the original. Some time after his third win, John received an urgent request from Fulton’s wife to please carve three more miniatures as the original three had been stolen during a burglary! He was also asked to carve a replica of the main trophy since Fulton felt that he was entitled to it! Sadly, Ruth, John’s wife of 63 years died in 2016. Chief Raphahlelo finally buried Land had allegedly been stolen in the Rapahahlelo community north of Modjadjiskloof in the Greater Letaba Municipal (GLM) area after reports that the local chief Mmirwa Raphahlelo died following a short illness a week ago. The funeral was held at his home village this past Saturday. The mass attended ceremony nearly took the whole day and was graced by municipal mayors and representatives from the provincial government. Spokesperson for the royal family, Matome Raphahlelo, said the chief died last Sunday
after falling ill. He was 81 years old at the time of his death. Raphahlelo said the chief would be remembered for the progress he brought to the area which entailed the founding of the Sekgosese college of education that is now closed and turned into a multi-purpose centre by the government. Chief Raphahlelo was responsible for the construction of the Pekere, Mmadintsha and Mphoho schools in the area, as well various early childhood development centres in the village. The chief was born at Grootfontein, a plot in
the village, and later attended school at Botlokwa primary before attending Boaparankwe (a school for chiefs only) and started his rule as chief, in 1964 when he was 36 years old. The family spokesperson added that the community was shocked at his death as they had no idea that he was ill, or that it was so severe an illness. Raphahlelo could not divulge the name of the successor saying it is still too early for that. He said that according to Sepedi traOur gift to you: dition, when the chief has passedFree away it is festive advertising! said the soil or land of the community had If your business signs up to been stolen. advertise on one of our websites TODAY, you can advertise over the festive — seasonMonna and only start paying in Litaba January 2018! monna@bulletin.us.com

So baie mense in hierdie feestyd koester egter ‘n eienaardige gevoel.

A conservation success story The Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) and African Parks successfully relocated four Cheetah to Liwonde National Park in Malawi six months ago. This restored the population of the threatened species that went extinct in Malawi some 20 years ago. Haenertsburg-born Vincent van der Merwe, the EWT Cheetah Metapopulation Coordinator, who recently won a prestigious SANParks Kudu Award for his conservation, explains. In late 2016, the South African wild Cheetah population reached its peak with most safe spaces occupied. The EWT and African Parks thus planned a reintroduction of Cheetah into Liwonde National Park, Malawi. Liwonde National Park plus two other Malawi reserves, under management of African Parks and the Department of National Parks and Wildlife, are well protected with improved security. There is more than 300,000 hectares of safe space for Cheetah. The four Cheetah were taken from Mountain Zebra National Park, Amakhala Private Game Reserve, Phinda Private Game Reserve and Welgevonden Private Game Reserve. They were flown from OR Tambo to Liwonde in a FlyUlendo and Robin Pope Safaris sponsored light aircraft. After a short spell in the newly constructed Liwonde predator bomas, the four were released. Vincent says EWT was concerned about them adapting as Malawi has spotted hyena and parasites that South African Cheetah do not encounter. The four Cheetah immediately set about feasting on the copious prey available in Liwonde. In mid-July, two Cheetah were seen mating on Chinguni Hill, the highest point in Liwonde. Three months later, Olivia Sievert, the EWT’s Cheetah monitor at Liwonde announced that four cubs, with eyes still closed, had been spotted. A second Cheetah gave birth to at least three
cubs recently. Both sets of cubs and their mothers will be monitored. Vincent says that this is a conservation milestone and an indicator of how easily Cheetah can adapt to new environments. The EWT’s Cheetah Metapopulation Project moves wild Cheetah across a myriad different vegetation types with vastly different climatic variables to ensure the genetic viability of this threatened species. Cheetah have been moved from the Kalahari Desert to the mountainous bushveld of the Waterberg; from thicket vegetation in the Eastern Cape to the grasslands of the Free State; and in the case of the Liwonde reintroduction, from the Karoo semi-desert, where temperatures drop as low as minus ten degrees Celsius, to the floodplain grasslands of central Africa, where temperatures soar up to 50 degrees Celsius. Vincent has overseen the growth of the Cheetah metapopulation from 217 Cheetah on 41 reserves to 336 on 55 reserves. This was facilitated by Vincent’s working relationship with SANParks reserve management at Mountain Zebra National Park in the Eastern Cape where Cheetah thrive. The reserve has made 42 Cheetah available to the metapopulation since 2011 and has taken five. The 42 Cheetah were relocated to 17 reserves across the country where they brought in new genetics, stimulating growth in these reserves. The EWT is a credible, impactful player in regional conservation, committed to identifying key factors threatening biodiversity and developing innovative methodologies and best practice to reduce these and promote harmonious co-existence and sustainable living for both people and wildlife. African Parks, a non-profit conservation organisation, takes on the rehabilitation and long-term management of national parks together with governments and local communi-
ties. With the largest counter-poaching force and the most amount of area under protection of any NGO in Africa, African Parks manages 12 national parks and protected areas in eight countries covering seven million hectares: Benin, Central African Republic, Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, the Republic of Congo and Rwanda. Humans have increased 20-fold over the past 600 years and continue to multiply. It is no longer safe for Cheetah to traverse landscape. Only human intervention and fences can facilitate the gene flow between fragmented Cheetah populations. The fences prevent them from entering areas where they are treated as vermin. South Africa and

Malawi are the only countries worldwide with growing wild Cheetah populations. Vincent’s PhD research found that bounties
were claimed for 4268 Leopard and Cheetah killed in the Cape Colony between 1889 and 1956. He struggled with the two species because Leopards were referred to as ‘tyger’ in early Afrikaans whilst Cheetah was referred to as ‘luiperd’. After 1928, the term ‘tyger’ was dropped and Leopards became ‘luiperd’ and Cheetah became ‘jagluiperd’. Vincent said that the help from SANParks, African Parks, EZEMVELO and the 39 privately owned game reserves has made this a conservation success story.

A decade of FRoHG(ing) around The Woodbush Granite Grassland in December.
FRoHG (Friends of the Haenertsburg Grasslands) celebrated its 10th anniversary at the Village Hall on Saturday. A group of locals started HEMAG (Haenertsburg Environmental Monitoring and Action Group), working together with Mike Gardner of HADEF, and this pave the way to FRoHG as it has the benefits of a formal constitution. FRoHG was officially launched on the 24th September 2007. Its aim was and is to preserve the Woodbush Granite Grassland, one of the most threatened vegetation types in the country. The Woodbush Granite Grassland was eventually gazetted as a protected vegetation type in 2011 and made a Nature Reserve in June 2016. A century ago there was more grass-
land than indigenous forest. The grassland stretched all the way down the Magoebaskloof. Now only 5% of the original grassland remains. The largest piece, about 190 ha, is called the Haenertsburg Townlands. FRoHG also focuses on the smaller pockets of Woodbush Granite Grassland on government ground, private property and communal land. It can’t be rehabilitated as it evolved over thousands of years. It plays an important role in a highly water stressed region and has fauna and flora that doesn’t occur anywhere else in the world. Peter Moreroa, the MC, introduced the speakers. Vincent Egan, a herpetologist with LEDET, highlighted the reptiles and amphibians found only in the grasslands.
Die betekenis van Kersfees en Jesus se geboorte?
Jen Newenham from K2C (Kruger to Canyons) and Jessica Letsoalo from KPI, involved in the clearing of alien invasive flora, gave insight into their contribution towards the grasslands. Mike Strever, who has spent decades in the grasslands capturing its unique fauna and flora, ended the afternoon with a slide show of his magnificent photographs. Special mention was made of the work achieved by FRoHG’s first Chairman, Ian Burman and the invaluable contributions of former Haenertsburg residents Pieter Winter and Cathy Dzerefos. Pieter Winter, a botanist, who was in charge of the herbarium at the University of Limpopo, identified 633 grassland species. Prior to his Woodbush Granite Grassland identification Pieter had managed the Melville Koppies in Johannesburg.
Cathy Dzerefos worked with traditional healers who harvest many medicinal plants in the grasslands and others who harvest grasses to make brooms. The late Googoo Thompson (1895-1991) fought for the preservation of the Woodbush Granite Grassland. A species of lizard was named after her, using her maiden name, and is called Eastwood’s long tailed seps. After Googoo died, her grandson Nipper Thompson and his wife Sylvia from Wegraakbosch continued the fight to preserve the grasslands.
Peter Moreroa, the MC, with Jessica Letsoalo from KPI.

Delicious ice creams in the village Exotic Ice Creams is situated in the heart of the village of Haenertsburg where you can pig out on a delicious and wide variety of ice creams, messy milkshakes and waffles. When Ruanda Snyman (30) and her husband Louis (43) moved to the village they wanted to do more than ‘Breaking Free’, their Christian counselling and ministerial work. After considerable market research they opened Exotic Ice Creams in the little Dutch-gabled building sandwiched between FoodZone and The Tin Roof three months ago. Ruanda who hails from Cape Town and Louis, who was in construction and is from Polokwane, were match-made by friends at a braai in Polokwane. Ruanda then moved to Polokwane and worked for Canon while counselling part time.
There are lots of different flavours in the frozen edible ice creams. It all depends what’s in stock at the Pretoria laboratory. At the moment there’s bubblegum, tequila, hazelnut, wasabi, garlic, caramel, candy floss and Turkish delight with tequila being the hot favourite. The ice creams are made with milk and cream but the Snyman couple is looking at ice creams to suit diabetics and vegans. The messy milkshakes, at R60 each, are also a huge hit. The messiness consists
Ruanda and Louis Snyman in their purple-walled Exotic Ice Cream shop.

of all things sweet like peanut brittle, cake, sweets and chocolate. Customers get to keep the jar in which the messy milkshakes are presented. Exotic Ice Creams is open, during the day, from Fridays to Sundays. Ruanda says their products are popular no matter what the weather. Exotic Ice Creams will be open, however, throughout the holidays from 13 December to 6 January, ex-
cluding the public holidays. As far as counselling is concerned ‘Breaking Free’ deals mainly with marriage counselling with communication and compromise being the main problems. The Snymans have also noticed a disturbing increase in bullying at schools, which stems from problems within the family, as well as issues with witchcraft in the Haenertsburg area. Part of their ministerial work offers healing and this is particularly effective when dealing with witchcraft.

Very few people understand the significance of any martial art, let alone the discipline it takes to excel in your chosen art form. Tzaneen’s very own Judo club, Jukado Judo Club, was established in 1968 by James Frank Steyn and has, for the past 47 years, been actively enhancing the lives of young judokas through its teachings. As is customary each year, the Jukado club hosts a prize giving ceremony to award their top judokas. The most prestigious trophy is the Fighting Cup’ which has been in the club since its inception. The first winner of this trophy was Rusty Steyn in 1971. This year the Fighting Cup was shared between two outstanding youngsters, Callie Buitendag and Levi Loughor-Clarke.

A wet and muddy Unicorn pitch hosted the clash between Polokwane-based Nashua Aces A and the mighty Hornbills from Tzaneen this past weekend. With the weather not in their favour, Aces lost the toss and were sent in to bat first. Setting up a target is not a strategy the Nashua Aces play to and were instantly on the backfoot. Nonetheless they took to the stumps bravely and faced a very precise bowling attack from the seasoned Bills as Johan Viljoen scalped 5 wickets in just 8.1 overs for 26 runs to break the back of the visitors’ batting line up. Zylon McGaffin took care of 3 more wickets in his 9 over innings for just 48 runs while Ruann Willemse and Emile Kruger each took a wicket to finish the Aces in the 44th over with a tally of just 163 runs to chase. Ryan Atkinson took the pitch for the locals and
smacked 38 of 53 balls which included a sixer and two boundaries. Christopher Atherstone continued the batting education with an undefeated innings during which he raked up 22 runs off 32 balls. Johan Viljoen was the last straw on the camel’s back with his three fours and one six to score a total of 22 runs off as many deliveries. The Hornbills won the match in the 32nd over on 164 runs with four wickets in hand. On the Aces side, Armand Pansegrouw (41 off 50 balls with seven 4’s) and Roelf Wynand du Toit (33 off 23 deliveries including four 4’s and two 6’s) were the pick of the batsmen, each with magnificent scores under the toughest conditions on the day. Young Lance Trueman (45/2 in 8 overs) and brother Justyn (36/2 in 7 overs) towed the line
