Preserve this Piece of Historic Public Art!
A recently uncovered Coca-Cola® mural represents one colorful stage in the century-long life of the historic structure once located at 201 N. Public Road. Originally constructed during the first decade of the 1900s, the building had served as a pharmacy and multiple bars and restaurants over the years. As the building was being torn down in June of 2015, crews discovered this exhilarating mural along the south wall.

Thanks to help from Boy Scout Troops 271 and 766, and many local volunteers, the wildlife habitat at Waneka Lake was significantly improved this winter during the outlet valve replacement project. Activities included spawning beds, floating wildlife perches, artificial reef construction, and the clearing of debris from the lake bed.
