CERS INSTRUCTIONS – EXISITING ACCOUNT If you have previously submitted to CERS and a submission for each section has been “Accepted”, you may base your current submittal on your previous one and make any updates or changes to it as needed. If your previous submittal was “Not Accepted”, you may still base your current submittal on your previous one, however you will need to make any corrections to it that have been requested. To base your current submittal on a previous one, please follow the steps below: 1) Sign on to CERS using your user name and password. 2) Click on the START/EDIT SUBMITTAL button and you will be taken to the PREPARE DRAFT SUBMITTAL PAGE. 3) There are two options: I.
If there have been no changes requiring updates, then •
Click on “Create All HMBP Submittal Elements”.

You will be prompted to click confirm, by selecting the Confirm button, you are certifying that: • •

The information contained in the HMBP most recently submitted is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, and; There have been no changes since the last submitted HMBP Submittal Elements.
Now, all elements are ready to be submitted, click on “Submit Selected Elements” to complete the submittal process.
If there have been changes requiring updates, then • •
Click on the “Start” button next to the element. You will be prompted to make a selection to start the submittals from • •

Based upon my submittal of: (select date), or; Start from scratch
Proceed to make any other changes if needed. Once you have updated the information, click on the “Submit” button Click on “Submit Selected Elements” to complete the submittal process.
