CITY OF L.A. TOBACCO USE PROHIBITIONS
Smoking and vaping are prohibited at the following locations:
Indoor workplaces including residential daycare facilities Within 20 feet of entryway or operable window of a government building Buildings owned or leased by the City of Los Angeles City-permitted farmers markets Outdoor dining areas City parks and beaches Public playgrounds Vehicles in which there is a minor present Public transportation systems The Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone
Use of smokeless tobacco (such as chewing tobacco) is prohibited at the following locations:
All event sites for organized sporting events City parks and beaches
The information listed above is current as of March 9, 2016. Please note that state legislative efforts to expand prohibitions on tobacco use are currently underway and may result in additional prohibitions.
