Punam Kalra, a renowned engineer turned designer has been in the business since 1994. It has been a long time since Kalra opened her first store at Lajpat Nagar. The Life journey for Kalra is a very long one with a lot of revelations. Along with the experience, Kalra has also gained a lot of Knowledge. Being brought up in a simple middle class family, she has all her values intact. Kalra describes herself as a shy child, who generally prefers to live in isolation. She prefers to hear music and watch films which are fast and intelligently humorous. Punam Kalra describes her mother as a role model ever since she started even as a teeny bit. She used to’ hero worship’ her. Though being nurtured in a traditional society, Kalra has kept herself upbeat with the contemporary culture. As Kalra entered her adult years, she developed a strong sense of scale, balance and color, along with an appreciation for clean lines and natural materials. Today, is known for creating outstanding interiors that are both artful and functional. Among all her relatives Kalra’s family was an educated, well aware and liberated family. Being an elder sister she was always of a more responsible and of serious personality. She was not an excellent student through out her school time. Recognition was that Kalra always looked for and today she has everything that has also developed a loyal circle of friends. It was not that Kalra wanted to become a designer from the beginning .It was her destiny that made her so, otherwise she would had become a doctor. The school from were she did her 10+2 was the first batch. It was a great Wednesday for her were she had topped in 4 subjects and from that moment her zeal and fervor began in right earnest.

Being married to an architect the only way she could spend maximum time with him was to remain with him as he worked through his drawings, his sites, his meetings etc. Never known for her patience, yet she was a good learner. Being married to an architect the only way she could spend maximum time with him was to remain with him as he worked through his drawings, his sites, his meetings etc. This particular venture is hers and her husband’s. In spirit the name, the feel, the design is her response to awakened self. Design took on an absolutely new meaning from then on. That day and today she has traveled a long way, grown in experience & knowledge. She knows the possibilities of looking at anything & every thing are infinite- one just needs to be aware. She is passionate about her work and family that has contributed entirely to enable me to reach where I am today. Her take on life is – Do what you want but do it well, Live life as it comes but live it fully. “Design does not stop at anything- it is happening every moment, in fact it is a way of life,” says Punam Kalra

Dr. Rekha Mehra has skillfully blended Indian mythology with traditional dance style along Jaipur and Lucknow Gharana. She has performed for several International festivals in India and abroad namely - Lucknow Mahostave, Mahakhumbha, International Trade Fair, Khajuraho Festival, Festival of India, Common Wealth Games Programme, Sharjah festival, Onam festival in Maldives. She has been associated and empaneled with Ministry of culture, Govt of India, ICCR, Zonal cultural centers, Sahitya Kala Parishad, Sangeet Natak Akademi. She has choreographed few dance and thematic events for social awareness for the promotion of physical, social and mental wellbeing of Women and children like HIV-AIDS 'Nidaan" Global Warming, Women Empowerment, War and Peace, Dhani, Chunaria, Road Safety, Athithi Devo Bhav, Save Girl Child, Ladli, Bhagidari Mela in front of the National and International audience, which was highly appreciated.
