First City Council forum is tonight
All the flags are flying day and night over Poway Veterans Park now that the lights are back on. Last month copper thieves stole the wiring from the lights that illuminate the flags. As a result, the flags were taken down because they could not be flown at night without being illuminated. City officials said they not have staff available to raise eight flags at sunrise and lower them at sunset. An interim plan to fly the American flag during the day SEE FLAGS, Page 14
